Suzy's Little Mind
NineI didn’t feel good as soon as I entered this place, meeting his weird friends; the childish one and the dorky looking one. Both of them looked freaky to me. And also his cousin, Nam Woohyun was here. I had never done things like this before, going to clubs, wearing short dresses and all.
And so there was I, sitting on the chair with Myungsoo and Nam Woohyun at the same table. I didn’t know why I always said his full name. It just felt like it would be incomplete if I just said Woohyun. The atmosphere was getting tenser between them, I could feel it.
‘Hey, cute stuff. Wanna dance?’ Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by Nam Woohyun’s question. I really wanted to say ‘no’ out loud but I’m scared, so I looked away, trying to avoid his gaze.
‘Or a drink maybe? You must’ve been so thirsty.’ He said and offered his drink to me. The truth was, I was so thirsty but there’s no other thing to drink here other than liquor, so I’d pass.
‘Stop it, Hyung.’ Myungsoo suddenly opened up.
‘No need to be so emotional, Myungie. Besides, she’s just your property. Nothing more, right? Hey. Don’t tell me that you’re falling for her, my dear cousin?’ I let out a small chuckle. That’s impossible.
‘Nonsense.’ I knew he was telling the truth, judging from the way he treated me. Like a property, not more.
‘So why don’t you let me borrow her just for tonight?’ Borrow? I’m just a thing to them. Then, Nam Woohyun got up from his chair and tried to pull me with him. I felt so scared, thinking what he could do to me. I tried to resist but suddenly he brought his face close to my ear.
‘Trust me, beautiful. I’m such a better companion than that boring Myungsoo. Come, gorgeous. Let’s dance just for tonight. I promise you won’t be disappointed.’
I could feel his hot breath on the side of my face. My heart started to race and somehow, like a fool, my feet just followed him to the dance floor.
