I knocked on his door for quite some time but no answer. My palms went all sweaty, heart raced. I felt so nervous. Well, it’s the first time I’d knocked on Nam’s door. It’s already 1 o’clock in the morning and it surely made me felt a little restless.

‘Sueji-shi?’

I turned to the voice beside me. It’s a timid maid. Head down, she said.

‘Young master Nam is at the rooftop. He asked me to bring a bottle of liquor to him up there, so..’

I could see she’s holding a bottle of expensive alcoholic drink. I guessed it’s expensive, judging from its unique bottle design.

‘It’s okay. I’ll bring it to him.’

The way to the rooftop was just a few walk from his room, so that’s the reason why I bumped into the maid before.

Silently, I turned the knob around and pushed the door open. The night was chilly as I saw a stiff figure, standing at the edge of the place. He looked a little down, I could tell.

‘Woohyun?’

He smile crept on his face when he looked at me.

‘Ah, you. Care to share that drink?’

I handed him the bottle and right after he took it from my hands, he started to drink it like a thirsty person who haven’t had any drinks in a thousand days.

‘Want some?’

I shook my head when he offered me his drink and suddenly, I thought of my father. He was a drunkard and there was this one time he offered me his drink when we were at home and feeling so devastated, I accepted his offer. The next thing I knew, I ended up in the bathtub, clothes soaked wet. And that's the last time I've had alcohol.

‘Why’re you here anyway if you don’t want to join me?’ He asked after another shot. I thought he’s still sober, based on his acts. Well, he just had a couple of shots.

 ‘I just wanted to ask about Myungsoo..’

I wasn’t able to finish my words when Nam Woohyun suddenly burst into laughter.

‘Do you know what day is today?’
