An Awkward and Hateful Meeting
NineThe car halted in front of a huge building. When I got out from it, my head went up high at the tall structure. I was not sure myself what that place was, so my mind was making weird assumptions.
‘What if he tried to sell you? Or you? You’re dead, Bae Sueji.’ My conscious kept whispering bad things to me, making me felt so scared.
‘Quit daydreaming, princess.’ He walked around the car, towards me. I backed off a few steps but he was even quicker. He managed to yank my wrist again. Gosh, he should stop doing that or my hand would fall off one day.
He pulled me until we stopped in front of the gigantic front door. He loosen his grip, grasped my right hand and intertwined his fingers with mine. I was confused with his actions but before I was able to open my mouth, he spoke.
‘No questions, remember?’ He said coldly without looking at me. I didn’t know why my heart was beating so fast when my hand was securely wrapped in his.

Both of us entered the place and it turned out to be a hotel. ‘You’re dead, Bae.’ My conscious kept cursing me. Oh please, don’t let him do anything bad towards me.. But instead of booking for a room, we walked towards the dining area. Without thinking, I let out a heavy sigh of relief.
