Chapter 14
The Talented Park Chaeyoung | Rosekook“What are you doing here, Chaeyoung?” Mrs Park asked.
“Hmmm, I-I..” Chaeyoung stuttered.
Jungkook stood up and bowed.
“Oh!” Mr Park pointed to Jungkook with a wide eyes.
Chaeyoung looked at Jungkook and her parents worriedly.
“You know this young man?” Mrs Park asked her husband.
Suddenly, Mr Park laughed and pulled Jungkook into a hug.
“Aigoo, you have grown up!” Mr Park said while patting Jungkook’s back.
“Appa?” Chaeyoung called.
Jungkook bowed to Mrs Park after they pulled away from the hug.
“Do you still remember, Jeon Illwoo? My friend during my college?” Mr Park asked his wife.
Mrs Park just nodded.
“This is his son!” Mr Park said as he smiled widely at Jungkook.
Mrs Park smiled. “The son of Sunhee, Illwoo’s wife?”
“Neh.” Jungkook smiled.
“What a small world.” Mr Park said while chuckling.
“Errr. Everyone? I’m here?” Chaeyoung nervously waved.
“I didn’t know that you know my daughter.” Mr Park said.
“I didn’t know Chaeyoung is your daughter.” Jungkook said and chuckled.
“She never say anything about us?” Mrs Park asked while sending a glare at Chaeyoung.
Jungkook just laughed while Chaeyoung gulped nervously.
“Tell your parents we said hi.” Mrs Park told Jungkook.
“Neh.” Jungkook nodded while smiling.
“We need to talk later, Chaeyoung.” Mrs Park’s smile faded when she turned to Chaeyoung.
Chaeyoung nodded and chuckled nervously.
“We’ll get going now. You guys enjoy your meal.” Mr Park said and walked away with his wife.
After Chaeyoung and Jungkook sat, Chaeyoung gasped.
“What am I going to tell eomma later?” Chaeyoung asked Jungkook.
Jungkook just shrugged and continued eating.
Chaeyoung pouted. “Evil.”
Mrs Koo waited patiently at the café nearby her house since Mrs Park said she had something to tell her.
Just then she saw Mrs Park entered the café, she smiled widely and waved a little to Mrs Park.
“I’m sorry, did you wait long?” Mrs Park asked as she took a seat in front of Mrs Koo.
Mrs Koo shook her head. “Aniya, I just got here. Let’s order first.”
Mrs Park nodded and they gave their orders to the waiter.
“So what is it that you wanted to talk about?” Mrs Koo asked she placed her arms on the table.
“It’s about our children.” Mrs Park asked.
Mrs Koo smiled as she waited for Mrs Park to continue.
“I’m sorry but I don’t think we should continue with what we already planned before.” Mrs Park said.
“I don’t understand. Is there something wrong with my son?” Mrs Koo laughed a little.
“No. There is nothing wrong with your son. He is perfect. It’s just that it is all my fault. I made decision without asking my daughter first.” Mrs Park said with a sad look on her face.
“I should have asked her first before.” Mrs Park continued.
“So we will never be in-laws?” Mrs Koo asked.
Mrs Park slowly shook her head.
