JUNGKOOK

"Get the hell away!"

"But Yoongi I-"

"Don't make me hurt you."

Yoongi's eyes were hard and angry just like that time he and Namjoon got into a fight at a party in the summer. I could tell he was clenching his jaw and I wasn't sure how long I had held my breath until I exhaled. 

"Yoongi, I just want to talk."

"No."

I don't know how I moved that fast, but before I knew it I was pushing the smaller guy away from Yoongi. Putting myself right in between them and removing his hand from Yoongi's arm. I could see the shock in the guy's eyes, he was smaller than me and thinner he looked young too.  It was the small gasp coming from behind me that brought me back to my senses. 

"Jungkook?"

"Yoongi hyung doesn't want to talk. Please leave." I said, it came out harsher than I could imagine, but it worked. The guy grabbed his coat and left turning back to glance at me and Yoongi as he left. I didn't turn to look at Yoongi until the guy was out of the bar. 

"Are you okay?" I asked Yoongi looking up and down at him hoping the other guy hadn't hurt him.  "Yes I'm fine, you can speak Korean to me you know." He said his words slurring together ever so slightly. I couldn't help but chuckle. "Gotcha."

Yoongi looked at me at a loss for words and I smiled. "When did you?" he managed to ask and I smiled wider. Something about being in front of Yoongi again felt right. I can't explain it but it's like when you go on holiday and you've become used to the hotel's bed, but once you enter your own room at home again, everything feels right. 

Homesick. 

"I came here around four months ago. I'm studying at University M." 

"You never visited."

"You never called." 

Yoongi gulped. 

I laughed, "No worries, hyung life moves on it's okay." Yoongi frowned. "No, it's not okay. I should've called. At least on your graduation. " he said and turned toward his drink. He didn't drink he just stared. "I should've called too. I let you and Namjoon hyung leave without much of a goodbye." Yoongi laughed. I missed that. 

"Not much of a goodbye? Kid you and Taehyung followed us to the airport and cried on our shoulders. " he exclaimed. "I did not cry. Taehyung did." I said back as playful as possible and Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Yeah right. "

"But how's it been kid?" Yoongi asked his drink now to his lips as he looked at me from the corner of his eye. I sighed, not sure if I wanted to talk about the tattoo. "It's been okay. I haven't died yet so that's a plus." Yoongi nodded and set the drink back down. "You find them yet?" Yoongi asked and I raised an eyebrow. "Who?" "Them." 

I sighed, now it was my turn to take a drink. "No." I exhaled and looked back at Yoongi. He was looking at me his face slightly pink from the liquor. "I don't have one." I said letting my words sink into myself as well. Yoongi's expression changed from interest to concern. "Oh, I'm sorry Jungkook-ah. I didn't know." He said quickly apologizing.  "No, no it's okay. I'm ...over it" I said  trying to sound as reassuring as possible. 

"But what about you? Why are you here drunk?" I asked wincing as I heard the words come out of my mouth. I was about to apologize myself when Yoongi started to laugh. He laughed so hard his whole frame shook. I'd missed that.  "Let's just leave at, well that. He left." He chuckled bitterly swirling the glass in his hand. 

"Hyung.. I'm sorry I-" Yoongi turned to look at me his expression like he was about to laugh again. "Don't sweat it. We're the same. Belong to no one." Yoongi said it came out smooth from his throat but I could tell it was meant to be bitter. I took another drink and Yoongi did too. He turned to look at me smiling. "But lets forget that, you're in Japan now." He said and he gave me that damn smile. The one that kept me pressed for him all those years.  And we talked. The conversation started very casual the usual catching up, but after two more drinks Yoongi was too far drunk and I was too far in love. 

I ended up talking to Yoongi for a few hours. It wasn't until Taehyung had made his way over a complete mess that I remembered him or the time. Yoongi looked at him in his drunk haze and laughed. "Of course you're here too!" he laughed. Taehyung turned to look at the smaller before tackling him into a hug. I couldn't help but laugh as drunk Taehyung cried into Yoongi hyung's shoulder. "My dearest hyung. You're alive." he cried. "I never died you ." Yoongi said trying to push him off, but his voice was too filled with laughter for it to come off serious. 

"How about I talk both of you drunks home?" I laughed and Yoongi smiled. 

It was a struggle to have to support two grown men as I walked but I could make do until we got a taxi. I sat in the middle of Taehyung and Yoongi. Taehyung already drooling on my shoulder and Yoongi on my left staring out the window. He seemed to sober up a bit as we pulled up to his apartment. He lived eight minutes from our own apartment. 

Yoongi stepped out and I followed helping him to keep his balance up the stairs, but really I wasn't ready to say goodbye. 

"You're more talkative now, huh kid?" he asked as he dug in his pockets to find his key. I laughed. "Yeah I guess." I shrugged rubbing the back of my neck hoping to hide my embarrassment. "Well talk to me more." he muttered as he opened the door. He slid over a card with his number and I could feel my ears and cheeks burn. 

"Call me."

I had some extra time today after school. So I wrote this update hope you enjoy. I plan to continue writing and hopefully update this weekend. Enjoy and take care of yourselves lovelies.
