A year and a half later…

The smell of hot coffee and wet kisses on his back was what woke him up. Jungkook stirs only just slightly and humming contently at the hands softly caressing his pelvis forcing him to turn, Jungkook sighs with a smile

“You really have too much stamina for me. We’ve just fallen asleep about…”

Squinting his eyes open to check the clock at the side of the king size bed, Jungkook gasp

“Babe, it’s only been an hour.”

“Sorry it’s not my fault that I get excited everytime I see you.”

“I really can’t believe people thought you were aual.”

Taehyung laughs actively at the halfhearted complaint and planting a kiss on top of Jungkook’s head, Taehyung ask

“Hey babe, can you sit up for me for a second?”

“Why?”

“Please.” He replies with a pout and Jungkook caves in. How can this man still have so much power on him when they’ve been together for a year already.

“Here, I made you coffee.”

Naturally bringing the hot mug to his lips, Jungkook waits patiently for Taehyung to say whatever he wants to say. He must’ve seen that Jungkook wasn’t planning on saying anything else, thus, he comfortably puts a pillow behind Jungkook’s back to support him, still a bit a sore for their nocturn activity and asked

“So you know how we spent a lot of time together. And well, we always fight about where to spend the night to. I mean I have most of my things here anyway. So I was wondering if well, if you think it’s too quick, it’s ok too.”

“Just spit it out already.”

“Will you move in with me?”

“Huh?” Jungkook eye’s widen for a fraction of minute. Jungkook must’ve looked too tense for Taehyung suddenly stutters, quite miserably

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked that. Forget it then. I just… You know what, never mind.”

“Taehyu…”

“I really don’t know why I even asked.”

“Taehyung…”

“I’m such a freak.”

“Taehyungie!” Jungkook firmly grabs him by the cheek and forcing him to look at him, wincing a bit from the pain of moving too quickly, something that didn’t go unnoticed to Taehyung who asked with concern

“Are you ok?” Jungkook discards the question with a stern look and pulling Taehyung to an unexpected passionate kiss, he said

“Just shut up. You really need to work on your hearing abilities. I didn’t even say anything yet.”

“Oh.”

Softly flicking the older man on the forehead, he continues

“I’d love to live with you.”

“Huh?” This time, Taehyung was the one who looked a little dumb. At those moments, Jungkook usually waited until the information seeped into the other man’s brain before continuing further with whatever the topic they were discussing about was. Even more when it was something especially important.

“I’m sorry. But can you repeat it again?” Taehyung enquires.

“Let’s live together, Taehyungie.”

The smile that broke on Taehyung’s face was so blinding, he would outshine the sun anytime. Then again, Taehyung was Jungkook’s sun. Someone that has became vital to him. If before Jungkook feared that fact, now he embraced it fully. Taehyung was as much his as Jungkook was his. His name was engraved underneath his skin just as much he was engraved in the older man’s skin. Jungkook made sure of that. Letting the man carefully take him into his arms and breathing in the masculine yet soft scent of his lover, Jungkook smiles even wider at the countless “I love you” Taehyung utters at the response he gave. He’s been waiting for this moment since day one they started dating. He’ll admit to him one day perhaps. For now, Taehyung didn’t need to know that. Taehyung didn’t need to know that if it was up to him, they’ll be married at the small village they visited a while back. That he’ll much prefer if Taehyung stayed home, thus far from other people prying eyes. So many more selfish thought he entertained yet he had to silence in fear to screw up everything. Back in the days, Taehyung had had to go with his pace. This time, even if it kills him, he’ll go with Taehyung’s pace. Who would’ve thought that he’ll ever compromise like this for someone? If it was Taheyung, he didn’t really mind though. Taehyung was his happy ending. No, he was beginning.

“I love you too.” He finally whisper back as he leans in and pours his everything to this kiss that represented the promise of an eternity. An eternity in which he’ll love no one else but this very man.

Taehyung’s thought were not so different from his lover.
