Jungkook didn’t understand what was happening until he was dragged to a club. Normally, he wouldn’t have tagged along, since he hated more than anything fluids, funny since he was a doctor, but he never liked crowded places that much. Nor did he like loud music. However, here he was. Exactly to the place, he promised to never go to and with Seokjin hyung to top it all. It’s not that he didn’t appreciate the companionship but he knew Seokjin hyung hated this type of places even more than he did. So the simple fact that he was there with him was miraculous. When asked why Seokjin hyung was willing to be dragged there, he would simply answer with a question of his own

“What about you?” Jungkook didn’t know unfortunately. He didn’t have the slightest clue as to why he was here. Why did he went along with whatever Taehyung hyung had in mind? And why wasn’t he leaving when he clearly could? Even Jinyoung had left when she learned they were heading to the club so why was he sitting here in this dark space with a bunch of other nurses and doctors, which by the way he wasn’t really close to though he knew many would love to get personal with him, with the music blaring so loud in his ears? Jungkook really had no idea but he wanted to find out. He didn’t know how but he was going to find out. Seokjin pulled him out of his thoughts when he gave him a bottle of soju and looking rather bored towards the loud interns and doctors, he asked

“Tell me, if I asked you to leave with me would…” His sentence went unheard, the minute Taehyung came over to Jungkook’s side and falling heavily beside him, threw a hand around the younger boy and asked cheerfully

“Are you guys having fun? Honestly it’s a little boring here but well, it seem like the others are liking it. Anyway, want to come over to our table for a second?”

“Why?” Jungkook asked but from Taehyung’s expression, he didn’t feel slightly bit uncomfortable from the rude tone. He did pinch Jungkook’s cheek however and answered

“What do you mean why? Let’s just go.” Seokjin noticed how Jungkook tensed a little bit at the closeness he was with Taehyung but of course, being as oblivious as Jungkook was he wouldn’t think much about it. Seokjin was a bit taken aback though when Taehyung suddenly turned to him and with a smile, he asked amiably

"Would you mind coming over to our table?” Seokjin thought for a moment not exactly sure if he could take on the proposition, but eventually he nodded in response.

Oblivious to Seokjin, Taehyung smiled affectionately at his back and was about to follow when he felt a hand on his wrist.

Frowning slightly at the owner of the hand, he waited for Jungkook to state whatever it was on his mind but Jungkook didn’t. Instead, he released his hold on Taehyung’s wrist and silently followed Seokjin leaving a rather intrigued Taehyung behind. Taehyung tried to overanalyse it though. After all, Jungkook had always been weird that way.

Jungkook actually didn’t know why he held Taehyung hyung back. Great, one more thing added to his list that he didn’t get. Downing half of his liquor, he grimaced slightly at the burning sensation and the bitter taste going down his throat, he followed Taehyung hyung. At the table, there was Jimin ssi and Namjoon ssi only. He figured that Yoongi must’ve left before they came here. He never did seem like the type to like clubs that much anyway. Taking a seat next to Seokjin hyung and Taehyung hyung, Jungkook drank once again his soju, fully aware at that at this rate, he was going to be drunk in no time, but honestly he didn’t care much. Actually, he felt annoyed. By what or who he didn’t know. His ears perked up though at Taehyung hyung’s words.

He couldn’t help but feel slightly annoyed, don’t ask him why, the moment, Taehyung hyung turned to Seokjin hyung and suggested in his pleading yet calm tone

“I’d love it very much if you can come with us.”

“Hang on, Taehyung are you drunk? What do you mean going to camp? Have you forgotten that we can’t? We have work remember?” Jimin reminded him with a frown. Taehyung looked smugly at his best friend and answered

“Don’t worry I’ve got it covered. But tell me now. Are you in or not?”

Seokjin honestly wanted to laugh. Not because of Taehyung ssi’s suggestion but Jungkook’s behavior. The kid was seriously too obvious. His entire demeanor was screaming jealousy. This kid… Seokjin thought amused. He almost burst out laughing when some chick came over to compliment Taehyung and ask him for a dance, Jungkook poked his inner cheek annoyed.

Gosh, never did he thought he’ll ever see the playboy and heartless Jeon Jungkook be so all over the place. And because of a man. Still, Seokjin had to admit that if Jungkook wasn’t already so head over heels for the man, he’ll certainly be in love with him. Kim Taehyung was sort of easy to love. Or more like, he could easily move your heart. In any case, this whole situation was entertaining. Thus, Seokjin brought his bottle of soju to his lips and said, very much aware that he was playing with fire

“I’ll go if Jungkook ah goes.”

“He’ll have to go anyway, I need him there.” Taehyung said and Seokjin could’ve sworn he saw Jungkook’s feature soften up at the words. Like no kidding, his temper, which was normally hard to handle, has improved so much. And to think that the author of the transformation in Jungkook’s persona was completely unaware of the power he had made it even more hilarious.

“There’s also my boss though.” Seokjin added, briefly glancing to his silent boss.

The problem is that Namjoon didn’t know if he wanted to go. Knowing Taehyung, whatever he had in mind can be brilliant but at the same time the dumbest thing ever. So clearly, right now, knowing that he wanted to go camping with the entire squad with Jungkook and Seokjin left him perplex. He did agree with him on one point. Camping should help clear his mind but why with Seokjin? It was already awkward enough as it is. Why drag the torture? He was taken aback though when Jimin sighed

“Fine. I’m in. But if things go wrong, I’m blaming you.”

“And I take full responsibility for it. So what do you think hyung?”

Looking at the challenging gaze, Taehyung threw his way and the quirky smile he had, made him feel slightly bit frustrated and he knew he was going to regret what he was going to say but it was too late to go back on his words now

“Ok. Count me in.”

Taehyung only grinned in response.

Around two in the morning, everyone was so wasted. Except Seokjin ssi, Namjoon hyung and Taehyung, of course. Jungkook and Jimin were far too wasted to even call it something normal. Taehyung did understand why Jimin drank so much however. Namjoon hyung cleared out the situation for him but Jungkook it was a totally different story. But even drunk, he remained oddly silent. He was stumbling now and then but he was calm whatsoever. It wasn’t Jiminie’s case. He honestly seem bipolar but Taehyung was used of his drunk habits. Even Namjoon hyung was.

“Jiminie, come on get in the car, I’ll drive you…”

“No, I still want to drink. Come on, let’s…” He was about to pull Taehyung to wherever he was thinking of going to get more booze, but Taehyung moved away at the moment, he caught Jungkook that almost tripped over. Holding him up, Taehyung asked Seokjin ssi

“Are you taking him home?”

“Oh can’t do. I don’t have my license.” Somehow that argument sounded like a lie to Taehyung but he ignored it whatsoever and wondered out loud

“Should we call a designated driver then?”

“No need for that. Besides at this hour it’ll take hours for someone to arrive. Can you drive him home yourself?” Taehyung seem flustered for a moment but after a look at the exhausted Jungkook, he said

“I don’t know where he lives.”

“It’s your car right?” Seokjin questioned. Only nodding in response, Seokjin ssi got in the younger man’s car and after putting in something in his GPS, he said

“Here, I’ve put his address in your GPS. Thank you in advance for taking care of him.”

“Hang on what about you? I can take you too.”

“No need, I have someone picking me up.”

“Really?” Taehyung asked unsure.

Adorable, Seokjin thought but he quickly brushed it off as he insisted

“Yes. Anyway thank you for tonight. I had fun.” With that, he looked briefly towards his younger childhood friend and finally walked away. Namjoon wanted to offer him a ride home but somehow the words wouldn’t come out. Stupidly, he watched the man walk away. And honestly, he felt guilty for not offering. After all they were going the same way anyway. His thoughts were cut short at Taehyung’s voice who scolded softly

“Hey, Jiminie no, you can’t sleep here. Come on get up.”

Walking towards the pair, Namjoon slipped Jimin on his back and forcing a smile, he said

“I’ll take care of him.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah. You take your protégée home. I’ll handle this kid.” Taehyung smiled at the words and helping Jungkook into the passenger seat and attaching his seatbelt, he closed the door and walking towards the driver’s seat, he waved once again at his hyung before getting onto the driver's seat but not after reminding him to call him when he gets home. Namjoon laughed at the overprotective comment and without giving him a clear answer in if he’ll call him or not, he helped Jimin into his car and finally drove off with Taehyung not far behind.

Not far from them, Seokjin calmly got into Jungkook’s car, keys he took before they came out of the club, and after making sure that Taehyung and Namjoon were far enough, he finally drove away. He wasn’t proud for lying but it was only just a white lie. At least, he gave a bit of time for Jungkook to maybe finally get his together. Hopefully, things will work out just fine. In any case, he’ll be there to help pick up the pieces.
