Kibum was jolted awake that morning in a crude manner.

The lights had suddenly and there was a rush of air as someone jumped and landed right on top of his body. He gasped loudly, instantly awake with his eyes open and heart racing. It took him a moment to remember that he was at home, safe and sound in his bed where nothing could get him – except for the person squishing him to death.

“Good morning, beautiful,” Leeteuk said with a grin, batting his eyes at Kibum prettily. “It’s time to wake up. You have a busy day ahead of you. There’s so much to do, so little time to do it!”

Kibum groaned and sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He blinked at Leeteuk, confused as to why he was even there at all. Unfortunately, he never got a chance to ask because in a swift motion, Leeteuk pulled him out of bed and guided him out into the hallway. He only had a moment to see that Key was getting the same treatment via Heechul, only he looked much more annoyed at being woken up, before he was ushered into Heechul’s room and pushed into the en suite.

“Go tinkle, wash your beautiful face, and then get dressed,” Leeteuk instructed in a rush. He closed the door, leaving Kibum standing there so confused. “Hurry! You only have ten minutes!”

Kibum yawned and did as he was told, too tired to turn the lights on. After he was finished with his business, he washed his face and headed back into his bedroom. There was already and outfit picked out for him on his bed so he mindlessly put them on. Walking out of his room, he met gazes with Key, who merely shrugged and gestured for him to come on.

Downstairs was absolute chaos and the two of them stood at the bottom of the stairs watching, careful not to get too close. Mir was on the floor, complaining loudly because he didn’t want to wear that particular shirt today. He might actually have had tears in his eyes. Was this a tantrum in the making? Key and Kibum waited to see. Henry was desperately trying to get into the kitchen, but Heechul was blocking it from him, telling him that he would eat once they left. Meanwhile, Donghae, Eunhyuk, and the surprise addition of Sungmin were fighting over something – the car keys? Key and Kibum didn’t know.

“Enough! Everybody be quiet and listen up!” Leeteuk announced loudly, clapping his hands together to get their attention. Everyone stopped what they were doing and gave him their full attention. Leeteuk smiled sweetly at them and began to speak very calmly.

“Today you guys are running errands. First you are going to stop and get donuts for breakfast, but if you get my car dirty I will beat your asses into next week. Secondly, you are going to the supermarket. I made a list of what to buy to make for supper tomorrow and breakfast the following day. It’s up to you to pick out snacks and whatnot. We really don’t care what you get.”

Henry and Mir shared a look, grinning at each other clearly pleased with this. Heechul interceded at this point, adding in the voice of reason that they all clearly lacked. “Be warned: if you buy a lot of junk food and eat it all tomorrow night, we don’t want to hear you complain when you all have stomachaches.”

Leeteuk nodded in agreement, handing Sungmin the list before he continued speaking.

“When you’re done buying everything, bring it home and put it all away. When you get home you’ll find pajamas and fresh clothes packed in a suitcase. Stick it in the car; you won’t need it until later.”

They all looked completely confused at this point, but the confusion was replaced with looks of joy when Heechul began handing everyone twenty-dollar bills. “Finally, you’re going to spend the day at the mall entertaining yourselves until Hongki calls and says that it’s time for you to come to his house for the night.”

They all understood at this point. All of them except for one.

“What do you mean?” Mir asked innocently, tilting his head to the side. “Our sleepover isn’t until tomorrow.”

Heechul and Leeteuk grinned at him, standing side by side with their arms around the other’s waist.

“You’re sleepover is tomorrow, but ours is tonight.”

They all started groaning and complaining as they pushed and shoved their way out of the house. They had the keys, money, and each other; it was time to get out of there.

They all piled into Leeteuk’s Subaru, with Sungmin at the wheel and Eunhyuk riding shot gun while the rest of them complained in the back. At least, Donghae and Henry continued to complain, no one else cared all too much. Kibum didn’t know what they had to complain about, though; they weren’t the ones stuck in the far back of the car.

The car pulled out of the driveway and the adventure began. Eunhyuk the stereo, plugging his iPod into the AUX cord and selecting his favorite song to play. Conversations began and everything was honky dory for about five seconds before Sungmin slammed on the breaks, causing them all to jerk forward.

“What the heck, Min?” Eunhyuk complained, rubbing his neck.

“Mir hand over your money,” Sungmin demanded, twisting around and holding out his hand expectantly. They had done this too many times before for him to know that it wasn’t a good idea to let Mir hold his own money or he would lose it and then whine about it for the rest of the day.

Once the fifteen year old grudgingly passed up his money, the adventure resumed and they drove into town with no more sudden stops. Sungmin drove to the local bakery shop and parked the car, telling everyone he would be back in a couple minutes and no, they couldn’t come in and pick out their own donuts. He wasn’t that stupid.

Kibum sighed and leaned his head against the window. He watched out the window of all the busy cars and people going about their mornings, despite that the sky was cloudy and gloomy with the threat of rain. Closing his eyes, he wished that he were back at home in bed still asleep. He hadn’t wanted to do anything except for read a book today but now he was forced to spend all day and night with his brothers. Normally he didn’t much so much, but he was starting to get a headache and they were being louder than normal with all the excitement.

He rubbed his temples when Henry and Mir tried to outtalk Donghae and Eunhyuk, their voices getting louder and louder.

“You too, huh?”

Kibum looked over at Key, who had an annoyed expression on his face.

“Let’s ditch them the first chance we get,” Key whispered to him, and it was the best idea Kibum had heard all morning. Even though he didn’t particularly get along with Key, Kibum decided he would rather spend the day with him than around Henry and Mir.

Sungmin finally returned with two boxes of donuts and a bag full of small cartons of chocolate milk. The food was passed around and everyone calmed down at that moment to eat, which seemed a little unusual.

Would Leeteuk actually spank anyone? He pondered thoughtfully, biting into a Boston Cream donut. His question was quickly answered when Mir suddenly started laughing, covering his mouth to keep from spewing his food everywhere. It took a minute for him to swallow without choking before he finally spoke, tears streaming down his face from laughing.

“Remember…that one time…Donghae spilled…soda…all over the back seat…and Teukie umma pulled over right then and there…and spanked him?!” The fifteen year old managed to gasp out between bouts of laughter.
