So I cried when she broke up with Onew, fell out of my chair when she lost her memories, cursed Jonghyun when I realized that maybe he was going to use that to his advantage (he didn't thank God), and cried again (out of happiness) when she got back together with Onew.

Chapter 7: So, Onew and Jonghyun, huh? I see where this is going, I think.

At this point, something I really like about the story is that I can actually picture myself as Iris, because we share the same skin color and would, effect have similar experiences in such a homogenous country. I am going to Japan in a month and a half and am definitely gearing up for some staring and questions. Maybe hopefully, I'll also have a love story...? Lol, probably not, but heres to hoping!

Chapter 3: Ok, girlfriend, let me tell you:

I love this fic already. I know I am only in the beginning of it, but I was looking for a good read that was also ambw. I am black and not that I don't love me some good ol fashioned korean on korean love, it's just that sometimes I need a change of pace.

This was just what I was looking for.

And even better, it's SHINee, the first K-pop group I ever loved with so much force I could stop Superman.
