. Why didn’t I freaking saved his number? Being the newly recruited member of the committee, he literally shared his phone number in the committee group chat and yet I didn’t have the decency to spend a minute to save his number into my contacts. I knew if this conversation were to happen face to face, I would have literally died of embarrassment. “Why am I such a ?” I hissed to myself, wishing I would just dissolve into thin air in order to escape from this virtual humiliation.

That’s a ty and cliché excuse that has been overused countless of times yet it is still a valid white lie. He seemed to buy it too so might as well play along and act nonchalant, I guess.

Right, so the reason why I texted was to update u on the prog team.

We came up with some ideas about the themes and the games.

And we also decided on the emcees.

Why is he telling me all this? Did he have to go through all the trouble to text me on the updates that could be presented tomorrow? We’re having a committee meeting tomorrow anyways, so why bother updating me on this when the whole programme team can do it tomorrow? It’s not even instructed by neither me nor Hoseok for anyone to message us of any updates. I knitted my brow together in confusion as I look at his response once more, trying to find plausible reasons as to why out of the blue, would he decide to privately message me unnecessarily but no to avail. Heck, he could have even texted Hoseok instead. Why me? It definitely was fishy.
