I woke up with the sun shining in my windows. I closed my eyes as the bright sun greeted my eyes. My thoughts jumbled as I sat up. Her name kept lingering in my head since last night. I ruffled my hair,

“What have you done to me,” I said to myself, chuckling.

I went downstairs in my mickey mouse pajamas, realising from the light slanting in the windows that I must have slept in very late. My father was in the living room.

“Good morning , dad.” I gave him a hug who was reading newspapers. “And good morning, mom.” I greeted my mom and placed a kiss on her cheeks as she brought a cup of coffee to my dad.

Dad took a sip of the coffee, though there dark circles under her eyes due to his works at the office, he gave me a smile. “You seem in good spirits this morning,” he said. Mom just nodded, agreeing.

I chuckled, “Oh, I am.” I answered and gave my mother a hug. She gave me a weird look and then her lips curled into a smirk, “Are you seeing someone? A girl, perhaps?” she snapped, knowing what was on my mind.

I shrugged, “I don’t know” I sang and made my way to the kitchen.

I got juice out of the refrigerator and poured myself a glass. Before I even had the chance to take a sip, someone grabbed the glass from my hand. “Thankyou!” he thanked me.

I looked at him finishing the juice. Then, he passed me the empty glass and wiped his mouth with his back hand.

I rolled my eyes before pulling hi
