I scrolled all the pictures in my phone’s gallery and one picture caught my eyes, I eyed the picture carefully, “This is my favorite picture,” I said quietly. I let out a sigh.

The wind slapped across her beautiful cheeks and I couldn’t stop myself from looking at her. She then faced me, “Ay, don’t stare too much,” she said, chuckling.

I went towards her and I hugged her from behind. I rested my chin on her head. “I thanked God for creating such a beautiful creature – ” I said and she just chuckled in return, “You are being cheesy,” she said.

I ignored her and continued, “ – and I thanked Him again that the beautiful creature is mine,” I hugged her tighter like my life depended on her ; my life does depend on her.

After a few seconds of silence, she broke the hug and laughed adorably. Her face blushed so hard that I could see it, I chuckled.

She didn’t stop laughing so I pulled her into a hug. She hit my chest playfully, “I can’t breath! Let me go,” she shouted while chuckling. I shook my head, “Nope,” I said, popping the ‘p’.

“Let me hug you forever,” I said as she stopped struggling. Her hands went to my back and she hugged me, “I want us to stay like this forever,” she mumbled on my chest. “Me too,” I answered and I kissed her on top of her head.

“How I wish I can turn back time to where you are mine –” I paused, “ – and I am yours,”
