Two Hearts [ ; ON HIATUS ]
this is the longest chapter ive ever write. well, since it is long *clears throat* of course it is so damn messy. im...sorry *runs away* (a lot of scenes happened in here, so just bear with it.)
Hanbin was filling up the drink into the cups before someone touched his shoulder lightly. Her perfume smelled so hard and he crinkled his nose.
He turned his head to see the person and his jaw slightly dropped. He nearly let the cup slid down through his hand.
His expression changed. He narrowed his eyes. “Hi, long time no see, Hanbin.” She started the conversation. Her voice was luring and sounded so y.
He rolled his eyes in return and put down the drinks on the table near him. “What are you doing here, Haeyoung? Wanna ditch me for the second time, huh?” he said coldly and his lips curled up into a small smirk.
She drew a circle on Hanbin’s chest, “Feisty. I like. I am Yeri’s cousin, by the way.”
Hanbin threw her hands off and glared at her.
She sighed, “Hanbin, can we talk for a minute?” she asked. Her voice didn’t sound y this time but more to desperate.
His shoulder tensed as soon as she grabbed his hand and went outside. He didn’t push nor yell at her.
Her voice just now was like how it sounded during their happy times together. He was a liar if he said he didn’t miss those sweet voices that always filled up the loneliness in his heart.
As they went outside, far from the crowd, Hanbin pulled his hand out from her grip. “What do you want to tell me? You have one minute,” He took a glance at his watch and crossed his arms.
Instead of talking, she stood still and stayed silent.
Hanbin didn’t even spare a glance at her and kept waiting for a minute to pass by. “Alright, one minute passed.” He said and turned his back.
But, he stopped at his track as Haeyoung hugged him from behind. He slid his fingers through his shiny hair. He loosened her grip around her waist and faced her.
Hanbin saw tears streamed down on her cheeks. He closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh.
“ that Haeyoung, you know I can’t stand a girl who cries, right? Stop crying.”
She wiped her tears off and looked at him. “I still love you, Hanbin. I will always will.”
He scoffed, “Then, why did you leave me? Why did you ditch me and went to my ing best friend? Why did you tell me you want a breakup? Why did – ”
“Because of your mom.” She cut off and he gave her a confuse look.
She sighed, “Your mom didn’t like me. Do you remember that one day when I didn’t appear to meet you at our favorite café after school?” she asked and he nodded slightly, waiting for her to continue.
His heart jerked away as she mentioned ‘ our favorite café ‘ – our.
“Well, your mom met me. She knew about our relationship and she asked me to leave you, Hanbin. I may not be wealthy like your family but I couldn’t stand when someone look down on my family. It hurts me. Your mom said I am just a girl who dated you for money. Hanbin, I – ” she choked on her own words.
Hanbin smashed his lips together, didn’t say anything.
“And, that was why I left you. I tried to make you forgot everything about me, about us, so I pretended to date with your best friend. I am sorry, Hanbin.” She said, looking straight into Hanbin’s eyes.
“Out of all men in this world, why did you date my best friend, though?”
“I know how loyal you are to your best friend. If I dated someone you didn’t know, you would went all punching-mode on him and threat him to leave me, as simple as that.” She let out a soft chuckle.
“But, your best friend, I knew you wouldn’t do that. Because why? Because he is your best friend. So, you just let him go and left me.”
Hanbin closed his eyes and breathed deeply. “That was ing bull and so stupid, Haeyoung!” he snapped.
“I know! But, that was all I could do for you to leave me. Can’t you please understand me?” she said, gripping his hand into hers and rubbed it smoothly. “Let’s get back together, can we? I know you still love me.”
He looked at her before pulling his hand out from her hold. “I am sorry, Haeyoung but we can’t. I still love you? Huh, funny.” He said sarcastically. “Because I am not.”
His eyes turned cold as they looked at her. “We are done Haeyoung, so am I. I am done with all of your s. Well, I don’t blame you for breaking up with me but leaving me and went to my best friend was another ing . So, stop. Stop finding me, stop loving me because I deserve someone better.”
And with that, Hanbin turned away, walked away from her.
As he went inside, the song and lights greeted him. He mumbled quietly as he was searching for Jennie. He looked around before walking to the front door. Suddenly, he saw a familiar back and shouted his name, “Jim!”
Jimin turned around and Hanbin stopped his track. He saw Jimin was carrying Jennie in his arms and he marched towards him.
He breathed harshly before grabbing his best friend by his collar. “What the are doing, Jimin?” he asked. His voice was slow as he was maintaining his own brea
