Two Hearts [ ; ON HIATUS ]
Jennie hadn’t thought of anything. She went to the college with her best friend, Hana.
They didn’t even talk about him. Hana also didn’t bother to ask anything about him as she knew Jennie was living miserably through past years.
Hana tried her best to pick a conversation with her. “How’s you parents?” Hana asked. After a moment of silence, Hana bit down her lips, realising what had she asked.
“Jen, sorry. I shouldn’t talk about it,” she apologized and took a glance of Hana who seemed to focus on the road.
She smiled, “It is fine. Well, they are fine. As the usual,” she answered, feeling bad at Hana who kept glancing at her.
Along the journey to the college, they talked casually and burst into laughter as Hana made her stupid jokes.
Once they arrived, a voice spoke as Jennie and Hana walked along the hall way of the college.
“Hey! Jennie Kim, isn’t it?”
Jennie looked up. Her eyes widened at the familiar sight and then she returned a smile, “Hey. . .” she greeted him back, her face scrunched as she tried to remember his name.
She smashed her lips together, hesitated. “Ha – Hanbin?” she squinted her eyes.
He let out a chuckle, “Yes, Hanbin. Kim Hanbin,” he said. He gave her a smile.
“What are you doing here?” he asked.
Jennie gave him a weird look before smiling, “Well, I work here. Clean the toilet, mopping the floor and many more,” she answered casually.
