Jongup looked up at the sound of the door opening. His eyes widened when seeing who it was. Arya walked over slowly and took a seat beside Jongup, smiling brightly. Instead of saying anything, Jongup instead just stared at her.

“What? Did you see a ghost or something?” She asked, laughing lightly at the way he was looking at her. As if snapping himself out of it, he quickly swallowed and fluttered his eyes.

“N-No, just that…” He glanced away.

“Just what?” Arya egged on, enjoying his embarrassed form a little too much.

“Just that…you look…beautiful tonight.” She froze a little at his words and her cheeks grew crimson.

“Ah, well you don’t look too bad yourself.” She retorted, trying to keep calm under the situation as she elbowed him in the arm. Jongup also grew embarrassed at her words. But he couldn’t help the smile that started to grow on his face. Realizing that Arya could see it, he coughed, trying to change the topic.

“So, uh, what are you doing up here?” He asked, curious as to why she suddenly appeared.

“Well… I actually came looking for you,” She said, looking away from him for the first time and staring at the mirror in front. She smiled at their two forms being reflected and couldn’t help but feel nervous.

“Oh really? Not dancing with your boo anymore?” He sassed, instantly regretting what he said right after. Surprised, Arya looked back over and tried her hardest not to laugh.

“Who? Daehyun?” She pried. Jongup looked away trying to be salty about the situation and that just made Arya lose it.

“Oh my god, you are so jealous right now!” She poked at him, making him comeback immediately.

“I am not!” He whipped around, sounding more hurt than he intended.

“Are too!”

“Am not!”

“You are so jellyyyy~” She continued to tease still laughing. Jongup’s face grew red from all the teasing and got up from the floor, turning his back to Arya.

“I am not talking with you anymore.” Arya quickly got up after him, playfully hitting his shoulder.

“Ahh come on! You know I don’t mean it! Plus there is nothing between me and Daehyun.” She reassured, the words just falling out of .

“Oh really? So him asking you to the dance was nothing? And you just accepted?” He retorted, still not wanting to look at her. Arya sighed.

“Oh Jongup. Are you really that stupid?” She said, placing her hands on her hips. At those words, he turned around slowly and faced her.

“What do you mean?”

“Like seriously. You must be stupid not to realize.”

“Okay seriously Arya, what is it?” His eyes scanned her face and she could feel her heart race once more. She swallowed lightly before continuing.

“Well, he did ask me to the dance but I told him no. I told him that I would save him a dance though as I was hoping SOMEONE else would ask me. But I guess he didn’t have the balls to do it sooo…” She trailed off, leaving Jongup kind of speechless.

“After being told something, I went to find him myself.” She smiled lightly, Jongup’s arms falling to his sides.

“A-after being told what?” His voice wavered, curious and nervous as to what she was going to say next.

“That…. that certain someone has liked me for the whole year. And it took him freaking 11 months to talk to me.” She said, and at that Jongup’s breath caught. He didn’t expect her to ever find out but he couldn’t help but grow  bright red at her words.

“O-Oh…” He trailed off not knowing what else to say.

“Oh is right!! Like seriously what the hell took you so long to talk to me? Was I that intimidating?”

“N-No nothing like that. It was…” He stopped, running his hands through his hair in frustration. He exhaled loudly, making Arya only more curious.

“It was what Jongup? Because seriously what was so-”

“It was because I didn’t want to fall in love with you!” He yelled, throwing her completely off guard.

“W-What?”

“I knew that if I started to talk to you that I would only fall for you more, Arya. And I know how that works in companies like these. If they even caught wind of something…they would have fired you.” He stopped, trying to calm himself down. “But I couldn’t help it. After seeing you around I would continuously look for you and just hope to walk by you one day in the halls. And before I knew it… before I even talked to you…I knew that I loved you.” He stopped, tears starting to form in his eyes. Arya was beyond speechless. He had thought of her so much before she even knew about it?

“A-And I know I shouldn’t have these feelings Arya and it is a huge burden on you but it’s true.  I know you may not even have these types of feelings for me but I just wanted to tell you. So…” He stopped, glancing at her once more. “So I can stop them from growing any more.” Arya had started crying realizing how hard all this must have been on him. She had absolutely no idea. As he waited for her to say something she instead just did what she did best. She started to hit him.

“Ow! OW! Arya! STOP!” He yelled, trying to protect himself as she cried even harder.

“Y-You do not get to do that! You do not get to say you want to stop y-your feelings after saying you love me!” She yelled, unable to control herself. She continued to hit him.

“ARYA! STOP!” He grabbed her hands in a moment and stared at her in disbelief. Tears were rapidly falling from her eyes and her nose was dripping. Seeing this, he let go of her hands and she brought them down to her sides.

“Y-You can’t just…” She sniffled, trying to calm her breathing. “You can’t.” She started to wipe at her face, embarrassed. His eyes softened at her form. He pulled her slowly into a hug, wrapping his arms around her. They stayed quiet for awhile with Jongup just holding Arya and soon enough, Arya’s crying was no more. She slowly started to back up wanting to face him once more. Jongup let go of her and never let his eyes leave her face.

“One date.” She suddenly spoke.

“W-What?”

“I will let you take me on one date. I am not good at these type of things but I guess I can try,” She smiled slightly, making Jongup’s heart leap.

“Seriously?! You are not kidding right now? Because it is not okay to mess with me, Arya.” He said, hoping that she wouldn’t take it back.

“Why would I joke about this? I may be cruel but I am not that cruel.” She laughed lightly, still wiping a little at her face. He instantly hugged her again, catching her by surprise. He squeezed her tightly.

“You have no idea how happy you just made me, Arya.” He whispered.

“I-I can see.” She chuckled, hugging him back for a quick second before talking once more. “But can you please let me go before you kill me?” At that Jongup, released her, embarrassed.

“S-Sorry.” He laughed, smiling brightly for the first time in a long time.

“Okay well I think the dance is almost over so we should probably go back down and-” Interrupting her with this suddenly newfound courage, Jongup quickly leaned over and kissed her quickly on the lips. Arya froze, turning beet red instantly. Jongup started to run away.

“See you down there!” He yelled, closing the door behind him. Arya snapped.

“OH HELL NO YOU GET BACK HERE JONGUP! I TAKE IT BACK. YOU CAN KISS MY FOR ALL I CARE!” She then ran after him, hearing him laugh loudly in the hall. And at this time Arya knew that her life was about to get a whole lot crazier.
