Chapter 38

Yoona was still stuck in her bed due to her sickness.

She accidently sneezed causing a bit of snot dripping down her nostrils as Yuri gently wiped it off with a kleenex

“Are you feeling better?” Yuri asked

Yoona slightly nodded

Yuri handed out a glass of water with a container of pills

The awkwardness was still hanging around them.

“We are supposed to go back to Korea tomorrow but since you’re sick, let’s stay here for a bit.” Yuri broke the silence

“No, it’s fine. We should go back” The latter quietly said

“Are you sure you’re going to be alright”

Yoona nodded

Next Day

Yuri was packing her stuff as Yoona was sleeping

She saw the proposal ring and sighed

I guess the proposal is ruined.. -Yuri thought

On the Airplane, Yuri was always at Yoona’s side like her personal slave

The flight attendant handed out a plate of bread to Yoona causing Yuri to get upset

“Um excuse me, what the hell is this” Yuri pointed

“Bread?” The attendant raised her brow

“My girlfriend here is sick and you give her bread?!” She raised her voice

“I’m sorry, what do you need instead?”

“Do you have soup?”

“Yes, I’ll bring it out for you” The attendant left

“Yuri, I’m fine with bread. You didn’t need to raise your voice at her”

“I’m just tryin-”

“I know, you want to take care of me, but I’m really fine” Yoona cut her words

Yuri slump back down on her seat as the flight attendant came back with soup

“Here is your soup miss”

Yoona was about to take a sip but the latter stopped her

“What are you doing?”

“Let me taste it first”

Yuri noticed the soup was too bland

“What the..Excuse me, you expect us to eat this bland soup?”

“Pardon me?” A flight attendant said

“N-nothing, the soup is fine” Yoona interrupted

“Ok then” She walked away

“Yoona, why didn’t you tell her it was too bland?”

“Yuri, it’s fine. You’re just overreacting”

“What?! Overreacting?! I’m not overrea-” Yuri stopped and pouted

“I’m going to take a nap” Yoona placed her sleeping mask and laid back down

“Yuri, how are you going to propose to Yoona now?” Tiffany whispered

“I’m not sure...All I know is that it won’t be as perfect anymore..” Yuri looked down

At home

“Ahh, nothing is better than being at home” Taeyeon fell on the bed

“Yoona, since you’re all better now, I want to take you to some places before I change”

“Change?”

Yuri nodded

“What do you mean by change?”

“Something that will help you and I”

You’re not leaving me right? -Yoona thought

“Let’s go”

At their university

“Yuri, why did you take me here?”

“Isn’t this the place we first met?”

Yoona looked around the building as she could feel the memories hitting her back

“You were so clingy around me” Yuri chuckled

Yoona shyly smiled as she blushed

As they were walking, they discovered more memories about each other

“Remember when we were late and I tripped around here” Yuri pointed

“Yeah, and I had detention” Yoona pouted

“You didn’t want me to join you though” She pinched the latter’s cheek

They were now walking the trail of a park

“You saved me here, remember?”

Yoona nodded

“Why were you here anyways?” Yuri asked

“I just needed fresh air because you always rejected me and make my heart break”

“Really..? Sorry” Yuri hugged the latter

“Omo, you’re so cold. Let’s go back home” Yuri said

At Home

Yoona was sitting near the heater as Yuri was making a hot beverage

“Here, drink this” Yuri handed out a mug of hot chocolate

Yoona happily drank the hot chocolate as it created a layer on top of her upper lips

Yuri giggled

“Hm?” Yoona asked confusingly

Yuri wiped Yoona’s upper lips

“Aigoo, you’re so cute”

Yoona blushed

“I feel bad for them..” Tiffany said

“I do too, why did Jessica have to ruin everything?” Taeyeon replied

“I just hope Yuri can figure something out before it’s too late..”
