Chapter 37

“What do you think you’re doing?” Yuri angrily said as she pushes the latter off her

Yuri wiped the saliva off her lips as she heard someone from the back sobbing

“H-how could you do this to me..?!” Yoona yelled and ran off to the distances

“Yoona!” Yuri shouted but the sobbing girl kept running further

Yuri was about to chase after Yoona until Jessica stopped her from doing so

“What now?!” Yuri yelled

Jessica stayed silent as she ungripped her hand off Yuri’s arm

“This is all your fault!” Yuri walked inside the backroom of the restaurant bursting out crying

“Yuri-ah, what happened” Tiffany asked worriedly

“J-Jessica..” Yuri covered her face with her hands

“Jessica?” Taeyeon said

“She kissed me and Yoona saw everything!” Yuri was still raging in madness

Tiffany and Taeyeon stayed silent as they both shook their heads

Yoona’s Pov

I was walking towards the restaurant Yuri prepared for me until I saw Jessica.. I followed her as I knew she wanted to meet Yuri. They were talking as I could hear the whole conversation.

“I know you still love me” Jessica protested

My heart twitched after hearing those words. Is it true Yuri still had feelings for Jessica? I continued to eavesdrop on them. Until Jessica had the guts to kiss my girlfriend. I didn’t understand this feeling. My whole body felt shattered into pieces as I almost fell to the ground but my body caught itself. Tears were running down my face as a never ending waterfall.

“H-how could you do this to me..?!” I yelled and ran away from scene

I heard Yuri calling for me but I ignored her and kept running off. At this point, I didn’t know where to run to. I kept running until my body felt like it’s giving up on life as I fell to the ground.

At Home

It was 12 p.m now and there wasn’t any signs of Yoona coming home.

“Where has she gone?” Yuri kept moving back and forth

“I’m sure she’s fine, just calm down Yuri” Tiffany said

“It’s all because of her!” Yuri snapped as she punched the wall

“I’m going out..” She slammed the door

The scene of Yoona crying kept flashing in her mind

It made her hurt so much

Yuri was just strolling through the roads as she saw a figure lying in the middle of the streets

“Excuse me, are you ok?” She asked but the body didn’t respond

“Hello?” Yuri bent down as she eyes widened it was Yoona

“Yoona!” Yuri shook the fainting latter

She immediately lifted her up and went straight home

Yuri ran into her bedroom and placed Yoona on the bed as she quickly checked her temperature

“Omo, you’re so cold and pale”

She left the room for the sick girl to sleep and slept on the couch instead

Next morning

Yoona could feel her body aching. She looked around as to know it was Yuri’s room.

She turned to the door as Yuri entered in with a bowl of soup.

She sat next to the latter.

“Morning” Yuri smiled

Yoona didn’t respond

Yuri knew it would take time, but she wanted to give out her best

She took a spoonful of soup and fed it to Yoona but the latter refused to accept it

“I can eat it by myself..” Yoona quietly said enough for Yuri to hear

Yoona was silently eating her bowl of soup as the awkward silence was continuous going

“Yoona..” Yuri broke the silence

Yoona didn’t dare to look up and just continued to eat

“I didn’t kiss her...She kis-”

“I know” Yoona interrupted

More awkward silence

“Is it true that you still love her..?” This time, Yoona started the conversation

“No, I only love you” Yuri bit her bottom lips as she was getting nervous

“Does that mean we're good?” Yuri asked

“I guess...but I don’t know if it’s going to be the same” Yoona sighed as she looked down

“Are you feeling better?” Yuri changed topics

“Yeah”

“Why were you laying in the middle of the streets?”

“I think I fainted”

“You don’t know how worried I was about you” A few teardrops escaped Yuri’s eyes

“I’m better now, don’t be sad” Yoona leaned in to wiped the tears off her girlfriend's face

Yuri hugged the latter tightly

These past days, Yoona has been losing distances between Yuri

Yuri tried bending over for a kiss but Yoona pretended to turn the other way

“Yoona, why have you been losing distance with me?” Yuri asked

“....I just need space”

Yuri sadly nodded and walked away

“Why did you ask me to come here? Is it because you’ll finally accept your feelings for me?” Jessica chuckled

“Jessica, this isn't funny” Yuri glared

“Woah there, I’m just joking”

“Let’s stop being friends, I don’t want to ever see you again” Yuri said with a serious tone

“Why so sudden?”

“Why so sudden?! You ruined my relationship and now you ask why so sudden?!” Yuri raised her voice

“Shhh. People are trying to eat here”

“Just get out of my life. Everything was going fine until you showed up”

Jessica stayed silent

“That’s all I have to say” Yuri stood up and walked out of the restaurant leaving Jessica dumbfounded

“What are you going to do about the proposal?” Taeyeon asked

“I think I’ll need to wait awhile. Yoona is feeling uncomfortable around me now” Yuri replied sadly and walked back inside her room

She laid next to the latter who wasn’t actually sleeping with a huge gap between the center as both of them faced the other way

Yuri sighed

“I miss you..” She whispered

You too -Yoona thought

“Mianhae..” Yuri carefully wiped her teary eyes as Yoona’s heart was aching from Yuri’s emotions

Yuri’s tears wouldn’t stop falling until she felt the presence of Yoona’s arm around her waist

She turned around and hugged the latter

You love me a lot, don’t you? -Yoona thought as she felt one of Yuri’s teardrop dripped on her cheek
