Chapter 2

Yuri arrived at Yoona’s apartment

Yuri hasn’t even ranged the doorbell and Yoona opens it with a big smile.

“Hey Yuri” Yoona hugs Yuri

“Hey…” Yuri slowly pulls off the hug

“So what do you need help with?” Yuri looked around

“Just some math” Yoona was cleaning her place

“You live by yourself?” Yuri asked

“Yeah, my parents got divorced and I used to live with my mom but I had to move because of university.”

“How long have you seen your mom?”

“3 years”

“Wow”

“Let's start on the project” Yoona changed the topic and took out her bag

When Yuri was helping Yoona with her homework, Yoona was just staring at her the whole time.

“Yah! Can you focus on your homework instead of me.” Yuri yelled

“I’m sorry, I just can’t take my eyes off someone so beautiful.” Yoona replied without taking her eyes of Yuri.

“Yah!” Yuri playfully slapped Yoona’s arm while blushing

It was time for Yuri to go home now

“Did you forget something?” Yoona asked

“No..?” Yuri was confused

Yoona pointed at her cheek

“I’m not going to kiss you” Yuri was about to walk out

“Hey! If you're not going to act like my real girlfriend, then you can forget about the deal” Yoona said disappointingly

Yuri quickly turned around and kissed her cheek

“Happy now?”

Yoona nodded innocently

“Bye Yuri”

“Bye”

Yoona was watching Yuri walk away until she disappeared.

Yoona felt her cheeks were red when she thought about the moment when Yuri kissed her.

TaeNy Pov

At school Taeyeon and Tiffany were walking together. Out of nowhere, Tiffany kissed Taeyeon’s cheek.

“Don’t do it in public, people will see. Especially if it’s Yuri” Taeyeon whispered

“I’m sure it’s fine”

As they continued walking to class

But they didn’t notice Yuri witnessed everything.

I’m sure that was a friendly kiss, I mean it’s normal to kiss your best friend right? -Yuri thought

“Hey bae” Yoona back hugged Yuri

Yuri snapped out of her thoughts and replied “Hey”

“Did you miss me?” Yoona said

“In your dreams” Yuri walked away

“Yah! Wait for me”

TaeNy Pov

“Taeyeon, I think it better for Yuri to know our relationship. We are bestfriends and it’s not healthy to hide things from each other.

“Are you sure we're ready?” Taeyeon looked nervous

“Yes, let's tell her today”

Taeyeon nodded

Tiffany and Taeyeon were walking towards Yuri

“Hey guys” Yuri said

“Yuri we have to tell you something”

“We are dat…”

“Hey babe” Yoona popped out of nowhere and back hugged Yuri

“You guys are dating?” Tiffany asked

“No”

“Yes”

Yoona kicked Yuri and glared at her

“Yes, we're dating” Yuri said

“Congratulations” TaeNy replied

“What made you start to like her” Tiffany asked

I don’t like her, I like you -Yuri thought

“I don’t know, I just started to like her” Yuri finally answered

“So what did you wanted to tell me again?”

“Oh, we...are dating” Taeyeon finally said

“Dating?” Yuri asked again if she was hearing right

“Yes, we are dating. We both love each other” Tiffany said nervously

“Oh congratulations” Yuri said normally but inside she was dying

“You support us?” Taeyeon asked

“Yeah, of course, you guys are my best friends” Yuri said

“Well, see you guys in class, Yoona and I were going to buy some drinks” Yuri lied

Yuri took Yoona’s hand and walked away

*While Yuri and Yoona were walking*

“Well Tiffany is Taeyeon’s now, I think you should forget about her and fall for me”

“Shut up!” Yuri shouted

Tears started to fall down Yuri’s face

“Hey, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you. I was only joking” Yoona said softly

Yoona went towards Yuri and hugged her.

“How could Taeyeon do this to me, she knew I liked Tiffany a lot” Yuri said while sniffing

“It's ok” Yoona was caressing Yuri’s head

Some of Yoona’s tears fell because she was hurt that Yuri was crying and how much she loves Tiffany instead of her. She quickly wiped them away before Yuri could see.

“Let’s go back to class” Yoona said

It's been a week since Yuri hanged out with Yoona.

They have been a lot more closer than before. The next day will be Tiffany’s birthday and Yuri is excited to get her birthday gift.

“What do you think I should get Tiffany?” Yuri asked

“Something that she really likes?” Yoona didn’t know Tiffany very well to answer that question

Taeyeon was going to United States to meet her parents and relatives

She wouldn’t be able to make it to Tiffany’s birthday so she gave her gift before that day

“I’m so sorry, I won’t be able to make to your birthday” Taeyeon said while hugging Tiffany

“No, it’s ok. As long as I have you, then everything is fine”

“I’ll miss you” Taeyeon gave a peck on Tiffany’s lips

“You too” They hugged one last time and Taeyeon disappeared

Tiffany’s Birthday

Yoona was walking across the streets until she saw a car coming towards her way.

She crashed into the car and was laying in the middle of the road with blood gushing out. Everyone surrounded her and called 911.

Yuri was driving to Tiffany’s house until she received a call from the hospital that Yoona got into a car accident

Yuri immediately turned her car and went straight to the hospital

“Doctor, is she ok?” Yuri asked while panting

“Yes, she just has a minor injury but she needs some time to wake up”

“Thank you” Yuri bowed and went into Yoona’s room

Yuri sat next to Yoona and held her hand

As time passed by, she slowly fell asleep. Yoona woke up and felt someone holding her hand. To her surprise, it was Yuri.

“You finally woke up” Yuri said

“Yeah, how did you know I was in the hospital?”

“They called me”

“Why did you come?”

“Cause...you’re my g-girlfriend” Yuri struggled

Yoona gave a smile

“At least my girlfriend actually cares about me” Yoona gave a kiss on Yuri’s cheek

“Are you feeling better?”

“Yeah, but it hurts a little”

Tiffany Pov

Tiffany was waiting for Yuri on her table and repeatedly looking at the clock

“Did she forget about me or is she mad that I’m dating Taeyeon?”

“She said she would come..” Tiffany talked to herself

It was getting late now and Tiffany fell asleep on the table

YoonYul Pov

“Yuri, isn’t today Tiffany’s birthday?”

“Oh crap! I forgot, she must still be waiting for me”

“You go ahead, I’ll be fine by myself”

“Are you sure?”

Yoona nodded

“I’ll come back tomorrow” Yuri left the room and drove to Tiffany’s house

I forgot to buy her present -Yuri thought

Yuri went inside Tiffany’s house and saw her sleeping on the table

Yuri just smiled

“Wake up” Yuri said softly while slowly shaking Tiffany

Tiffany slowly opened her eyes

“Yuri?”

“I’m sorry I was late, you must have been waiting for me”

“It’s ok, as long as you’re here, that's all it matters”

Yuri brought out the cake and lit up the candles

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Tiffany, happy birthday to you” Yuri sanged

Tiffany made a wish and blowed out the candles

“Where’s my gift?”

“I..I didn’t have time to buy it” Yuri looked down

Tiffany giggled, “it's ok”

“Why were you late?”

“I had to go see someone in the hospital”

“Let’s go watch a movie” Yuri changed the topic

Tiffany started to get tired and fell asleep on Yuri’s shoulder

Yuri just smiled and eventually fell asleep too
