Chapter 35

“Yuri, want to go out with me?” Yoona asked

“I’m so sorry, I’m busy today” Yuri quickly said as she kissed Yoona’s cheek and ran out of the door

Yoona could just only sit there in disappointment

These days, Yuri has been terribly “busy” enough to leave her poor girlfriend at home.

What could she be so busy about when were here in Hawaii for a vacation? Unless...she’s going out with that girl….No no, that can’t be. I know she wouldn’t do something like that. -Yoona thought as she shook her head

Yuri’s Pov

I have been busy preparing all the equipment I need for my proposal. I was writing down on a clipart as I instructed my staffs what to do.

“Can you place this item here” I pointed as they all nodded in my response

“It’s late now, you guys go rest until tomorrow. Great job today guys” I gave my warming smile

As I was driving home, I thought about Yoona’s reaction

“Ooh, I can’t wait to purpose to you. I’m so sorry Yoong, just wait a little longer” I grinned

I walked into my room quietly as I could see Yoona was laying on the bed

“You’re not sleeping are you?” I asked

“How did you know?” She turns to face me

“Cause I’m your girlfriend”

Soon my wife, Keke -Yuri thought

She smiled and hugged me. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes until she broke the hug and looked deeply into my eyes as I started to get worried.

“Yuri?”

“Yes?”

“I heard you dated someone with a relationship that thought could never be broken.”

“Yea..? Why you ask so sudden?”

“I’m just curious if it was true”

I could read the sadness off her face

“Well, they only thought we would never break up, but I know, you and I will never be broken apart.” I kissed her lips as I could trace a smile on herself

“Really?”

I nodded

“How much do you love me?”

“This much” I stretched out my arms

“I guess I love you more then”

“How?”

“Because my arms stretches longer” She expanded her’s out as I leaped into them while we both laughed at our goofiness.

“Aigoo, you’re so cute” I kissed her forehead

Next Morning
I was walking towards a store to get some supplies for the proposal until a familiar figure was standing near the bus stop. It seems like she was frustrated as I looked closer, it was Jessica.

“What’s wrong?” I asked while I tilted my head to the side

“I missed the bus and I need to get home urgently”

I could tell she was holding her tears in

“Let me drive you home then” I offered

“Really?”

“Yes, of course”

“I really don’t want to bother you though”

“It’s fine”

Inside the car

“Where do you live?” I asked as she gave me the address to her house

The car trip was awkwardly silent. I could barely see the corner of my eyes she was taking glances at me while I was driving.  

“Were here” I said in relief

“Thank you so much” She hugged me

“Is it ok if I have your number?”

“Yeah” I said thoughtlessly

We exchanged numbers as she thanked me again before she left my car

At home

Yuri and Yoona were just playing on their phones. Yuri suddenly got a message from an unknown number.

Unknown: “Annyeong”

Yuri: “Annyeong..Who’s this?”

Unknown: “Jessica”

Yuri: “Oohh, hey”

Yuri: “Are you sleeping yet?”

Jessica: “If I was, I wouldn’t be texting you right now, keke”

Yuri slightly chuckled. Yoona took a glimpse over at Yuri’s phone

Yuri: “Keke, ok now, go get some rest. Night”

Jessica: “Night Yul”

“Who were you talking to?” Yoona asked in jealousy

“Just an old friend of mine” Yuri placed her phone on the side and laid down on the bed

While Yuri was sleeping, Yoona secretly took Yuri’s phone and scrolled through the messages. That Jessica girl again?! -Yoona thought as she remembered Yuri chuckled while texting her

Night Yul? She even calls Yuri by her nickname? -Yoona thought

“Just an old friend huh?” She mumbled

She quietly placed her phone back and pretended to rapidly punch the sleeping latter.

5 Days Later

Yuri and Jessica have been getting more close to each other.

“Where are you going?” Yoona asked

“I’m going out shopping with a friend of mine”

“What’s their name?”

“Jessica..?”

Oh, now this time you admit it -Yoona thought

“Is that ok with you?” Yuri asked

“Yeah yeah, go ahead” Yoona faked a smile

At the Mall

“Does this look good on me?” Jessica said

“Yeah” Yuri was sitting on a chair in boredom

“Then I’ll get it” She smiled

“Are you bored?” Jessica asked while the cashier was scanning her clothes

“No”

“Why don’t you get something?”

“It’s fine”

“Ok then. Are you hungry, I want to eat”
“Sure”

“Let’s sit over there” Jessica pointed

“Why?”

“It has an air conditioner” She said innocently

Yuri chuckled

As they were eating, Yuri could notice Jessica was picking out all the cucumbers in her plate.

Jessica looked up at Yuri

“What?”

“Nothing. It’s just that you’re same when I first met you”

Jessica giggled as she continued to pick out the cucumbers.

In the car, Jessica was just staring at Yuri as she drove. Yuri looked over to the side mirror as she could notice Jessica quickly looked away from her.

At home

“Yuri, you didn’t tell me Jessica was here in Hawaii?” Tiffany asked

“Oh yeah I forgot to you, well she is”

“What did you guys talk about? Was it awkward?”

“It was quite awkward”

“Jessica? Why do I hear that name?” Taeyeon joins it

“Jessica is here in Hawaii”

“What?!

“Yeah, I hung out with her today”

“Omo, Yuri, you gotta be careful” Taeyeon warned

“It’s fine, I’m sure she had lost interest in me”

“I’m not so sure about that..”

“Eh, whatever” Yuri walked away

“Taeyeon, what if Jessica really does fall for her again?”

“It will be hard for Yuri, you know Jessica’s personality”

“True, when have Yuri disobeyed Jessica’s likings. That girl would do anything for her”
