Chapter 10

Yuri has arrived home and realized her phone was out of batteries

*Ding*

Yuri walked to the door and opened it

“Yuri!” Tiffany all of a sudden hugged her

“I thought something happened to you” Tiffany was relieved

“Tiffany-ah, I’m fine. I was just helping a friend because she was sick” Yuri caressed Tiffany’s head

“Why didn’t you pick up any of my calls?”

“I just realized it was out of batteries. I’m sorry to make you guys worried”

“You should’ve seen Tiffany at school today. Taeyeon, why isn’t Yuri here? What if something happened to her?” Taeyeon acted like Tiffany with a high pitch voice

“Yah!” Tiffany playfully slapped Taeyeon’s arm

Yuri chuckled

“Were you worried that much?” Yuri teased

“Of course, you mean a lot to me” Tiffany pouted

Yuri was touched with Tiffany’s words so decided to hug her again

This is the reason why I fell in love with you -Yuri thought

“When will you guys be moving in?”

“Is Friday fine?” Taeyeon was scrolling down in her phone

“Sure, I’ll help you guys” Yuri grinned

Next day

“Yoona” Yuri walked in Yoona’s apartment but didn’t hear any response

Yuri walked in Yoona’s room and saw she was sleeping peacefully

“Aish, how can this girl be sleeping at this hour”

“Wake up”
Yuri pinched Yoona’s nose

“Ahhh, I’m drowning!” Yoona woke up

“What was that for” Yoona pouted

“You wouldn’t wake up so I had to”

Yoona looked at her wrist

“Y-Yuri” Yoona panicked

“What’s wrong?” Yuri was confused

“I think I lost my bracelet when I saved you from the lake”

“Let’s go check then”

At the lake, they were searching for 2 hours and still couldn’t find the bracelet

“Yoona, it’s getting dark now, we should go home. We can come back tomorrow”

“Yuri, we can’t” Yoona had tears in her eyes

“We can come back tomorrow. Why is that bracelet so important to you anyways?”

“My mom gave it to me before she died..” Yoona’s tears started to fall

Yuri hugged the crying girl

“I’m sorry..”

Yuri slept over at Yoona’s

Yuri made sure to wake up super early so she could find the bracelet for Yoona

She was diving in the lake for 3 hours now and still couldn’t find it

“Where could this necklace be?” Yuri talked to herself

Yuri accidentally dropped her goggles and swam after it

She looked at her goggles seeing something was caught in it

“I think found the bracelet!” Yuri said cheerfully

She safely put in her pocket and walked back to Yoona’s apartment

Yoona Pov

Yoona woke up and saw her bed was empty

“Yuri?” Yoona called

No response

Yoona looked around but couldn’t find Yuri

“Where did this girl go?” Yoona scratched her head

She heard the door open and turned around

“Yuri! Where have you been and why are you all wet”

Yuri ignored her question

“Look what I found” Yuri grinned while reaching in her pocket for the bracelet

“Y-you found it” Yoona was amazed

“Thank you” Yoona hugged Yuri

“How did you find it?”

“I don’t even know, I was just lucky”

“I thought you couldn’t swim?”

“I can, I think I just had some muscle cramps”

“Go take a shower, you’re going to get a cold”

Yuri nodded and went straight to the bathroom

Tiffany and Taeyeon were sitting at their desk, waiting for the class to start.

“Taeyeon”

“Hm?”

“Give me your hand”

“It better not be some creepy plastic insects”

“Don’t worry, it’s not. I wouldn’t be able to hold one anyways” Tiffany smiled

Taeyeon gave her hand to Tiffany

“Close your eyes”

“What now” Taeyeon wasn’t feeling sure if she should trust Tiffany

“Just close it”

She closed her eyes and felt someone was on her finger

When she opened it, she saw a couples ring

“Do you like it?”

“I love it. When did you get this?”

“When we were at the mall the other day”

“Thank you Tiffany” Taeyeon hugged her

Yoona was doing her homework on the couch until she felt someone gazing at her

Yuri was just innocently staring at the ladder doing her homework. She was lost in her dreams.

Yoona just shrugged it off and continued her work. She sometimes took glances at Yuri and noticed she hasn’t changed her position.

Is there something on my face? -Yoona thought

I don’t know why, but I always feel happy when I’m with her -Yuri thought

“Yuri” Yoona called

“Hm?” Yuri was still looking at Yoona

“Why do you keep staring at me?”

“Why can’t I?” Yuri didn’t move

“Is there something on my face?”

“Yeah”

“Where?!? What is it?” Yoona touched her cheeks

“You have beautiness all over your face” Yuri smiled

Yoona blushed red as a tomato

“W-why you suddenly say that” Yoona tried to keep her face calm

“Because you are today”

“You’re saying I’m not pretty other days?”

“Yup”

Yoona threw a pillow but Yuri caught it

“Get lost” Yoona walked away

“If I get lost, I’m sure you’ll find a way to find me”

Yoona blushed again but continued to walk towards her room

When she closed the door, she felt her heart beating so fast
