Chapter 24

Class ended and Tiffany was walking across the streets

All of a sudden she saw a car driving towards her while someone shoved her away

She turned back witnessing Taeyeon was laying on the road

“T-taeyeon..” She got up and ran towards the conscious girl

In the ambulance car, she was holding on Taeyeon hand the whole ride

God, please save her -Tiffany thought while praying

Tiffany dialed Yuri’s phone number

“Hello?”

“Yuri, please come quick. Taeyeon got into a car accident” Tiffany said while sobbing

“What?! I’ll be there in a second”

“Where’s Taeyeon?” Yuri rushed inside the hospital while panting

“She’s in the operating room”

Yuri sat down next to the crying girl

“Tiffany-ah, she’ll be fine. I’m sure of it”

“What if she’s not, it will be all my fault”

Yuri hugged her

After waiting a while, the doctor came out

“How is she?” They both stood up

“Luckily, she arrived here on time, if not..we would’ve lost her”

“Thank you so much” Tiffany hugged the doctor

He blushed a little

“Is it ok if we come in?”

He nodded

Tiffany sat next to Taeyeon and held her hand

She felt Taeyeon’s finger was twitching

“Taeyeon”

She slowly opened her eyes

“Where am I..?”

Tiffany all of sudden hugged her

“Thank god you're alive, I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t” Tiffany sobbed

“I’m fine Tiffany-ah” Taeyeon caressed Tiffany’s head

“I’ll leave you two alone” Yuri stood up and walked out of the room

It was now awkward between them

“Why did you save me..” Tiffany broke the silence

Because I still love you -Taeyeon thought

“I didn’t think when I saw the car coming towards your way”

Tiffany nodded

“Did you finally realize your feelings?”

“Yes, but I still lov..”

“Oh, that’s great” She looked at the clock

“It’s late now, you should go home” Taeyeon cut Tiffany’s word

“I don’t want to leave you” Tiffany blurted out

“Come tomorrow”

“Ok” Tiffany smiled

At home, Tiffany was vacuuming the house with her mind all over Taeyeon

Then she smelled smoke from the vacuum cleaning and immediately turned it off

“Looks like it got caught in something”

She was digging through it and detected something shiny

It was the ring that she gave to Taeyeon

Tiffany carefully placed it in her pocket and continued her work

“Where are you going?” Yoona asked

“To buy you your present, I forgot”

“Why?”

“It was your birthday silly” Yuri pinched her nose

“But you already gave me it?”

“Where?”

“Here” Yoona hugged the clueless girl

Yuri finally understood what Yoona was saying

She chuckled

“It’s not good enough”

“It’s more that enough” She kissed her cheek

Next Day

Tiffany came to the hospital as early as she could

“Wow, you came here fast”

Tiffany smiled

“You’re hungry right?”

“No” She lied

Tiffany knew she was lying

“Alright then, I’ll just eat all this food by myself”

Taeyeon’s eyes widened every time Tiffany took out the food from the bag

She could feel her stomach growling but she pushed herself harder

Taeyeon was staring at the latter sarcastically eat

“C-can I try some of that” She pointed while being hypnotized by the smell

“I thought you weren’t hungry?” Tiffany played dumb

Taeyeon gave a deadly glare at her

“I was just joking, here” She fed Taeyeon some of the food and she happily accepted it

“Go take a nap, you still need to recover” Tiffany pulled up the blanket

Taeyeon slowly closed her eyes while Tiffany was sitting next to sleeping girl

She laid her head down on the bed and eventually fell asleep too

Taeyeon couldn’t sleep with Tiffany next to her

She opened her eyes and witnessed Tiffany was sleeping next to her hip

Taeyeon smiled and caressed her cheek

“My family wants me to come to her house tomorrow and I want to introduce you to them” Yuri hugged the latter

“Will your family like me?” Yoona said nervously

“Of course, I’m their little girl”

They were holding hands while entering Yuri’s family’s house

To her surprise it was Minho

“Minho..?”

“Hey Yuri” He smiled

“Yuri!” Her mom hugged her

“Hey Umma”

“And this is?”

“Yoona, my girlfriend”

“Y-you have a girlfriend without telling me?” She asked in shocked

“Yes?” Yuri was worried

“Come inside” She smiled

While they were sitting at the kitchen table, they were discussing their relationship

“Yuri, I’ll like to talk to you privately” She stood up and walked into another room

“Why didn’t you tell me about your relationship?” She asked angrily

“Mom, why are you mad all of a sudden?”
She sighed

“I already arranged you a marriage with Minho"
