-And the killer… was still lurking inside the house-

-While the kids were in the underground room in Na Hyun’s house, the entire city was invaded by army robots causing destruction and chaos, burning up everything in sight, and killing those unlucky enough to get caught in their grasp. The soldiers were doing their best to protect as many people as possible; a huge exodus was formed, running to the safety zone near the army base. Meanwhile, the army base was raising security to maximum level—bringing out all the top equipment and highly trained soldiers, dispatching them to every part of the city to try and stop the attack. But what makes it so difficult is that no one knows where the robots are coming from.-

-In Na Hyun’s house-

Doo Joon- What’s going on? Someone shot one of the soldiers to death…

Hyun Seung- Is this what the professor was talking about?

Gi Kwang- But… what does it have to do with Jun Hyung?

Dong Woon- Whoah (sparkly eyed) (O_O) Am I the only one who’s amazed that Na Hyun’s house has an emergency underground room?

-Guys:(-_-) DONG WOON~-

Dong Woon- Mianhe (sorry) (^^;); just thought I could lighten up the mood, but I’ll be serious now.

Na Hyun- I wonder how the city is… the soldier said that another army is coming… and they’re not human?

Doo Joon- He also said that the people are being evacuated to safe zone near the army base. Na Hyun, do you think this place is safer? Or is it best to go there?

Na Hyun- I think it may be best to go there. This place is only good for hiding; once somebody finds out that this room exists in the house, he can easily destroy the floor and make his way here. We can only stay here temporarily…

Gi Kwang- Man… what do you think’s going on outside? And… the soldiers that came here a while ago… do you think… all of them got killed?

Hyun Seung- and… could the guy that killed them still be here? …

-Silence filled the air at the thought of the killer. They were just kids after all; even though no one admits it, they’re all scared inside…-

Hyun Seung- S-sorry…

Doo Joon- Guys, let’s pray…

-The 5 of them huddle together as Doo Joon led the prayer; asking God for protection, courage and faith for them and their loved ones.-

-The prayer ends-

Dong Woon- What do we do now?

Doo Joon- Our best choice is to try to make it to the safe zone near the army base. So for now, we have to use this time to think of a way on how to get there without being killed.

Na Hyun- Oh! Guys, these will come in handy…

-Na Hyun points to the weaponry; there were 5 guns, 5 pocket knives, and 5 hand grenades.-

-Each of them got one of each weapon-

Gi Kwang- Wow… war is actually happening… to be honest, I’m quite scared of our situation right now… While I have the time to say it, I might as well tell you guys that I love all of you. It’s been an awesome ride meeting you guys, and if we don’t make it out alive after all this, I just really want you all to know that you guys are blessings from God.

Others- Yeah~

-They have a group hug-

-suddenly, everyone’s celphone rings-

-It was a call from their families. Each was able to make it to the safe zone and was worried about them. Professor Woo informed Na Hyun where the safest route to the safe zone was; it still had army robots, but fewer compared to other routes. Professor Woo said that on their way to the safe zone, they would pass by 4 small houses—hiding inside each house was a squad of soldiers prepared to help them get to the safe zone. After the calls ended, Na Hyun tells everyone about the safest route…-

Dong Woon- Thank goodness! The Lord prepared a way for us! I didn’t even think my parents would be back from their business trip 2 days early (-_-) They chose the wrong time to come home; I’m so thankful they got to the safe zone.

Hyun Seung- Yeah; it’s good to hear that our families are safe; now it’s our turn to get there. This may be our last chance at life, let’s not waste it! (^_^)

Gi Kwang- This will definitely be the first and last time I’ll use a gun, pocket knife or hand grenade! (-_-) I really don’t like blood.

Doo Joon- Well, we’re up against robots anyway; you won’t see any blood (^^). Unless, you’re talking about your own, that is (^^).

Gi Kwang- Hyung! (-_-) That’s not funny; I’m scared to bits here!

Hyun Seung- Which is weird because you’re the one with the abs around here =)

Dong Woon- Yeah hyung ^^ You should be shielding us with those =)

Gi Kwang- Very funny (-_-)

Na Hyun- Geez, until the last minute you guys haven’t changed at all. =) Anyway, now that we know the route to take… let’s think about how to get out of here and make it to the first small house…

Doo Joon- Hmm… does your house have a backdoor Na Hyun?

Na Hyun- Sorry, we don’t…

Gi Kwang- Oh! I remember something! The day I brought Yo Seob over, Na Hyun wouldn’t let us in so we entered through the kitchen window!

Na Hyun- Ah! That’s right! Even until now (-_-) I still forget to close it.

Hyun Seung- Perfect! Let’s get out through there. But first, we have to wait for the right time to come out of here because the killer might still be around.

Doo Joon- Let’s let 30 minutes pass; if by that time it is still peaceful in this house, let’s try to move out.

Dong Woon- Um guys, speaking of Yo Seob hyung, where is he?

-Suddenly, they all remembered Yo Seob-

Doo Joon- Aish! (a Korean expression for dissapointment); he didn’t reply to my text, warning him about running away from Jun Hyung!

Hyun Seung- Do you think he got it?

Na Hyun- I hope he made it to the safe zone…

Gi Kwang- I’ll give him a call…

-Gi Kwang calls Yo Seob’s celphone-

Gi Kwang-… Huh? What the? His phone can’t be reached!

Dong Woon- ! Try calling again!

Na Hyun- Yo Seob… (worried)… where are you?

-Meanwhile, Yo Seob was now on the plane, seated behind his parents; he still had no idea what the text was about…-

Yo Seob- (SIGH) I wonder what the text was about… I wonder what’s going on… can I really leave like this, without saying a word? Well… it’s finally time to let go…

-Yo Seob was about to take off his sim card when suddenly he noticed that there was no signal…-

Yo Seob- Hmm… that’s weird… there’s no signal? It’s either my phone has a problem or it’s the plane (-_-) But I’ve never heard of a plane where there’s no signal for celphones… but then again, it’s my first time riding one… Omma (mother), Appa (father); I’ll just walk around the plane for bit, to check if there’s signal elsewhere.

-Yo Seob walked to the farthest seat and it turns out there’s signal there. “What a weird plane (-_-)” he thought, and complained about it to one of the flight attendants. She said that the signal will become better once the plane starts to lift off. After hearing that, Yo Seob was about to remove his sim card when his phone suddenly started vibrating. Gi Kwang was calling him.-

Yo Seob- ! (Oh man… what should I do? … should I answer the call?? I’m not supposed to be talking to them anymore…)

-At Na Hyun’s house-

Dong Woon- Hyung, what’s happening?

Gi Kwang- It finally started ringing but he won’t pick up! (-_-) What is up with that guy??

-While the kids were busy calling Yo Seob, the killer had searched the entire house for them but could not find them… but it knew… it knew that the kids were just inside the house… it decided to hide and be patient-

-After 10 minutes, Gi Kwang decides to stop calling Yo Seob-

Gi Kwang- That guy makes me so irritated right now (-_-) We’ve been calling him for ages but he’s not picking up! Doesn’t he know how worried we are?

Doo Joon- Well, there’s nothing more we can do. Try calling again later, for now let’s just pray that no harm has come to him.

-In the plane-

-Yo Seob’s phone: 13 missed calls-

-Each time it rang, Yo Seob didn’t know if he would answer it or not… now he doesn’t even know if he has the strength to remove his sim card. “Maybe I’ll just remove it when we get to Tokyo,” he thought. He then asked his parents if they could sit at the back instead, pretending that it was too cold when he actually just wanted signal for his phone. He was so torn right now… so he told God “God, I don’t know what to do anymore… You know, Gi Kwang called me and I couldn’t answer it… but I really wanted to… Lord, if he calls me again, I will answer the third call.”-

-Na Hyun’s house-

-15 minutes have passed; the kids were able to think of how to get to the first small house.-

Doo Joon- Ok, guys. 5 minutes left until we open the hatch and come out of this room. I’m the eldest so I’ll go out first to see if the area’s clear. Followed by Hyun Seung, then Gi Kwang. Na Hyun, you’ll come out after Gi Kwang so that Dong Woon can protect you from behind. Ok? Now, if the killer is still here, the first one to see him will throw their hand grenade and shout to the others to escape quickly before the area explodes. Sorry, if your house gets damaged Na Hyun.

Na Hyun- It’s ok; material things can be recovered but lives can’t.

Doo Joon- Alright; please say the password to open the hatch Na Hyun. I’ll put the ladder in place. Everyone, remember to walk as fast and quietly as possible just in case the killer’s still here—follow my lead.

Hyun Seung- By the way Na Hyun, what does that password stand for anyway?

Na Hyun- JH2325- JH for Jun Hyung who is like a brother to me, 23 for Psalm 23 in the Bible because I’m reminded of how much God loves me, 2 because my family is me and my dad, and 5 because Yo Seob, Doo Joon, Gi Kwang, Hyun Seung and Dong Woon are 5 of the most amazing friends I have ever met.

Dong Woon- Aww~ Thanks Na Hyun.
