-Then Na Hyun remembered... that proposal like confession of love from Yo Seob... that uncertain feeling of him slipping away... What was that? Maybe if it's now... she can ask about it-

Later on, the guys met up with Hyun Seung and Dong Woon at Yo Seob’s house. Yo Seob then texted his parents about going out with the guys and all of them head on to the amusement park.

Dong Woon- Waah~ =) Yo Seob hyung and Na Hyun are really something. The cake was absolutely beautiful. Did you take home all the goodies you guys made, hyung?

Yo Seob- Yeah, I left it at the house. It would be too much to carry all of the stuff we baked. Plus the cake’s huge! I don’t know how I’m going to explain to my parents about that (^^;)

Hyun Seung - Just tell them your buddies got it for you, since we missed you so much because you transferred schools =) We made a mistake and ordered a wedding cake.

Yo Seob- Wow; that excuse might just work.

Dong Woon- Ugh (-_-), you don’t know half about Hyun Seung hyungs excuse-making powers! He was practically making excuses all day! >_<

Hyun Seung- All for his and Na Hyun’s sake anyway! Oh yeah; what happened to the 2 gallons of chocolate milk they won?

Doo Joon- What do you mean? =) They each got a gallon and finished it on the way when we came to pick you guys up =)

Dong Woon- Seriously!? (O_O) you crazy couple! I’m hoping you guys drank water; I don’t want to hear anything about high sugar levels when you go to the doctor!

Na Hyun- Chill Woony; we’ll be fine =) We drank water back at the house.

Dong Woon- I hope so; you guys keep on worrying me.

Doo Joon- Anyway, let’s all enjoy the amusement park!

-The gang rode on every possible ride there was

… until, they got to the ferris wheel-

Gi Kwang- My, my; I don’t think this ride is my style! =) Hey Doo Joon, let’s go ride the roller coaster again!

Doo Joon- Yup, see you later guys!

Dong Woon- Hyun Seung hyung, can you bring me to the food section? I want to eat something.

Hyun Seung- Sure ^^ let’s go.

-And just like that, Yo Seob and Na Hyun were again left alone-

Yo Seob- Obviously (-_-) this was planned from the very beginning.

Na Hyun- Those guys (-_-) really are too predictable.

Yo Seob- Well…

-Yo Seob and Na Hyun get in the Ferris wheel. It starts to move. A beautiful view of the amusement park with lights made a wonderful scenery.-

Yo Seob- Wow… those guys don’t know what they’re missing.

Na Hyun- Yeah, it looks amazing. Doesn’t it Seobie? =)

-At that moment, Yo Seob looks at Na Hyun with his right hand on his heart… there was a “thump” just then, right? She did it again; like the first time he fell for her—his heart beat suddenly got loud. It sure brings back a lot of memories… those 2 months of dating were some of the best days of his life… and yet, today would be the last he could see of her and his buddies… because the remainding days would be spent getting ready for the big move… hiding all this from them… suddenly disappearing in the days to come… it feels uneasy… and it would feel empty… but “Whatever! This isn’t the time for this! I need to enjoy this one last moment!” Yo Seob thought-

Na Hyun- Hey Seobie, do you remember when you and Gi Kwang oppa were at my house?

Yo Seob- Yeah?

Na Hyun- I just remembered it now—that we agreed to be best friends again during that time.

Yo Seob- Oh, right ^_^ I forgot. We’ve… been acting like exes instead of buddies, huh? ^^

Na Hyun- Yes; and I don’t want it to be like that between us =) I don’t want the awkwardness. During the contest, baking with you was so much fun; I want it to be like that always. Even though I know we won’t see each other that often anymore, I still want to see you Seobie…

Just because we broke up, doesn’t mean I’ve stopped loving you. You know that right? You are one of the people who I’ve become very close to; we’ve shared ups and downs, and our journey together whether as best buds or as a couple, was such an extravagance for me! I think that out there somewhere, someone could be wanting what I have: having you, the guys, Jun Hyung, my dad, and of course, God. Everyone is such a blessing in my life! Don’t end our journey here Yo Seob… don’t go somewhere and leave me.

Yo Seob- Wait; what?

Na Hyun- At the time when you confessed to me during the baking competition, you said to hold on to your words when you’re gone… it just felt like you were about to fly away from me… I thought that maybe you and I would be separated permanently this time… (looks at Yo Seob) but I guess (laughs), if that did happen, then it was only a matter of time… I’m sorry for being selfish like this… I wanted to have you, but I also wanted Jun Hyung to stay… I’ve only ever thought of what I wanted, I feel like I’ve lacked so much towards other people…

-Na Hyun holds Yo Seob’s hand and grips it-

Na Hyun- Why is it so difficult to let you go? I convinced myself so many times already… why do I have to be selfish like this? I’m so sorry Yo Seob. I tried to be strong for you; I tried so hard to erase what I feel, but only now do I realize that it’s been engraved in my heart already… it’s too late to stop thinking about you… I’m so sorry… I want to keep you safe from harm; I want so much to protect you… but if you go away without the assurance that you’ll be back, I think I might wither inside; that I would thirst for your presence. I thought I was ready to give you up, but after today… I just feel like you’ve been such a big part of me… that if you leave without returning, you’ll be taking all the color and vibrance of my life with you… ugh, I’m so pathetic!

-Na Hyun is crying now. It’s the first time Yo Seob has seen her break down like this. Na Hyun was still gripping his hand but, she was trembling. It looked like she was having such a hard time; she bottled everything up, trying to act strong, because if she didn’t then only despair would be there. She’s been through so much already; her father is still in the army, Jun Hyung’s still missing, and after a few days… He’s going to disappear. How could he leave just like that? She seems so weak and frail right now; she looks so scared, she needed him now more than ever. But as much as he wants to stay… he just can’t. He’s really going to leave her, and without knowing if he will ever return. This is so difficult… it’s so much to bear…-

-But then, Yo Seob remembered the times when they were best buds… they would share to each other about their bad days. Afterwards, they would pray to God and lay all their troubles unto Him, in exchange for His peace. Then they would do all the things they enjoyed like karaoke and food trips. Na Hyun always cheered Him up at that time and always said “Seobie, God never not knows what’s going on =) So you just chill and let the Lord handle things in His own time and His own way, ok? On days when all you have is Him, you’ll realize that just having Him is enough =) God loves you.” Those words comforted him the most; this time it was his turn to be strong for her. He can’t promise he’ll always be around, because he will really have to leave, but in this final moment with her, he has to assure her that everything will be alright. -

Yo Seob- (holds Na Hyun’s trembling hands) Na Hyun…

I’m in love you with you. And I fall deeper and deeper in love with you everyday. Do you know who else loves you? Your father, Jun Hyung, the guys and God. All of us, we all love you. You said that God never not knows what’s going on. So is it ok if you wait? =) Could you wait until God fixes things in His own time and in His own way? =) I… really… won’t be around much anymore, but while I’m gone God will take care of things like he always does. And the guys too, they will be with you. So don’t cry… you’re not… the only selfish one. I never knew that I could be so selfish, myself… even though I’m not supposed to be seeing you, I took care of you with Gi Kwang and attended a couple’s baking contest with you… and now, the 2 of us are on a ferris wheel… Na Hyun (puts her hands on his heart), can you feel it? The intense thumping of my heart? I hope you’ll always remember this… this is my proof of how crazy I feel everytime I’m with you =) My heart gets ecstatic; it flutters inside. When I’m not with you, still I think of you and worry about you. I guess… I have to get things straight with you… NA HYUN, WE CAN NEVER GO BACK TO BEING BEST FRIENDS; IT’S TOO LATE FOR THAT. I’M, TO YOU… I… WE… WE’RE DEFINITELY MORE THAN THAT! I… would really get married with you right now and run away somewhere if I could, hehe…

-Just then, the fireworks started-

-Na Hyun and Yo Seob hold each other’s hand while watching… the feeling of emptiness sinks in… it really feels like the last time they will be like this…-

Yo Seob- Na Hyun, I love you. Do you love me too?

Na Hyun- Yes.

Yo Seob- Thank you for everything. Keep safe, pray hard and take care of yourself.

Na Hyun- Does this mean… you really will be going away for good?

-Yo Seob just smiles at her… which meant that it was true; he was going to leave. Tears stream down Na Hyun’s face at the instant flach back of everything they did together. Yo seob didn’t mention anything about it… why? It seems that even the guys don't know anything… perhaps… could it be he intended to keep this a secret? There were so many questions she wanted to ask… “Where are you going?” “Are you really not coming back?” “Why didn’t you tell us?” But just the fact that Yo Seob hasn’t said anything until now, meant that it’s just something he can’t tell her… How… terrible… she will really miss him a lot…-

Na Hyun- (hugs Yo Seob) Take care of yourself too… God bless you.

Yo Seob- (hugging Na Hyun) May God help you in the situation you’re in; may he bring comfort and peace to you; may he make your faith strong. Amen. (Yo Seob’s tears fall down too)

-This was their final hug; their final moment in each other’s arms. It marked the closing of their days together.-

-Meanwhile, that same night at a dark place, there was another selfish person, just waiting to come out…-

Army Leader- Any signal of the Army Robot?

Soldier- No sir; Until now, nothing has been detected. The troops have also gone looking for the robot, and have not seen it.

Army Leader- No! This is way too dangerous! If that man is really the one who took the Army Robot,… this may mean a hostile take over…

Professor Woo- What do you mean sir? Do you know who took Jun Hyung?

Army Leader- The army has an idea of who it might be; and let me tell you professor, he is not a sane man.

Professor Woo- Then, sir, please; can’t I just make you new Army Robots, teach your mechanics and professors, so I can go home to my daughter? She has been alone for so long! And you told her that she needs to find Jun Hyung in order to exchange him for me, but he has been kidnapped by a dangerous man? How will my daughter ever find Jun Hyung? How will we ever meet each other again?

Army Leader- Professor, don’t you think if it was possible I would’ve asked you to make army robots by now? My men checked our facilities and equipment—the materials needed to make your robot have gone missing. It is possible that the same man who took your robot, also took the equipment. There is no way to make a new perfect army robot; and so there is no way we are sending you home in this situation; you and the other professors must make use of what we have to create weapons for defense of an expected upcoming war. If you want, you may call your daughter later to assure her that you’re safe, but you cannot go home at this time—this is when the country needs you the most. There’s a selfish person out there, just waiting to attack our doors. We need to be prepared.
