Gi Kwang- (looks at Yo Seob with devious eyes) Well I won’t, but you better watch out for Yo Seob^^ If you feel something crawling on your bed, it’s him!

-Na Hyun’s room-

Na Hyun- Um, looks like only one mattress will fit in the room. You two can sleep here while I sleep in the couch at the living room. Just decide for yourselves who’s sleeping on my bed and who’ll be on the mattress.

Gi Kwang- Hey; this is your room, therefore you should sleep here. I’ll be the one to sleep in the living room^^ Obviously, you’ll sleep on the bed and Yo Seob will sleep on the mattress.

Yo Seob- Wait a second! What if I want to sleep in the living room?

Gi Kwang- Oh? Then, screw you^^Bye!

-Gi Kwang closes the door-

Yo Seob- (-_-) (How dare he leave me here with Na Hyun… alone in a room… a BED ROOM… he’ll surely make stories about this behind my back!)

Na Hyun- If you really want to sleep in the living room, then let’s just move the mattress there Seobie^^

Yo Seob- Ah!... No, it’s okay. There should be someone with you here just in case something bad happens… I’m alright with it; really.

Na Hyun- (chuckles) You know… it’s understandable if you don’t want to be alone in a room with me. A boy and a girl really shouldn’t be so. But (looks at Yo Seob with a big smile), I trust you^^ I trust both you and Gi Kwang Oppa, that’s why I don’t mind having both of you in my room. To be honest, I… I really don’t want to be alone, so I want you guys to sleep here. But unfortunately only one mattress would fit, so sorry that you had to get stuck with me.

Yo Seob- (smiles caringly) It’ll be ok with me if you want; I don’t mind.

Na Hyun- (blushes) Well, if it’s alright with you, I’d really like that~ ^^You don’t have to my hair.

-Yo Seob sits on the side of Na Hyun’s bed-

Yo Seob- Whether girlfriend, best friend, or even girlfriend of my best friend^^, you can always come to me if you need someone to sing your blues away and to your hair like what a big brother does; I’ll be there.

-Na Hyun just looks at Yo Seob; those words were so sweet.It’s times like these where she gets confused about what she really feels. It’s too bad they can’t be together. If she had him as a real big brother, she probably won’t even go looking for a boyfriend anymore; he was all she needed. She felt sadness again but she just kept on a poker face. She said she could go on just being friends with him; that seemed easy to do at the moment. But whenever she looks at Yo Seob’s eyes, there’s something there; something that makes her want to… hug him. Did she just pretend she was okay with being friends with him to mask her true feelings? Even she doesn’t know. “Ah, whatever”, she thought to herself. “As long as he’s safe and living a better life, even if I’m not part of it, I’m happy”.-

-Yo Seob starts to Na Hyun’s hair and sing-

-Every note sung was melodious and Yo Seob’s fingers were gently combing her away to the land of dreams. It felt so nice. Soon, Na Hyun fell asleep. Seeing that his precious “little sister” was now asleep, Yo Seob proceeded to catching his own Z’s. Little did he know, he was about to have a special guest visit him-

-In Yo Seob’s dream, he finds himself in a flowery field but the sky was gray and there were cracks all over the place-

Yo Seob- ?? Where am I?

??- You’re in the place where I was told to go away… where she told me to stop appearing to her…

Yo Seob- ! (looks around) Who’s there? Who are you?

-And just like that, Jun Hyung appeared before Yo Seob-

Yo Seob-! Jun Hyung?

Jun Hyung- (looks at Yo Seob angrily) Babo (stupid).She traded me for you, and after that you break up with her? Are you something of an idiot?

Yo Seob- ! (annoyed) Ya, I didn’t do it because I wanted to; I did what my parents asked me to. Is that so wrong?

Jun Hyung- No… but (annoyed) if that’s how things were gonna be in the first place, why did Ihave to be the robot? Why couldn’t it have been you?

Yo Seob- ! (angry) EXCUSE ME!?

Jun Hyung- Well I certainly wouldn’t break up with the girl that traded her friend for me.

Yo Seob- Hey! That’s not fair! What I did wasn’t my own will! I’m trying my best to be a good son, even if I have to sacrifice what I hold dear to me. Unlike you, Na Hyun understands me. She sees things in my light, and she even takes being just friends better than I do.

Jun Hyung- Hmph; that’s probably ‘cause she hates you now.

Yo Seob- ! (angry) Take that back!

Jun Hyung- Yeah? You idiot! If I were a girl, I’d hate you too! I traded someone important to me to get you back, then you just leave me? Well, my mistake in that case! You’re not worth it! 

-Yo Seob holds his anger and fights his tears at hearing those words; he clenches his fists tightly, but tries not to let rage take over. –

Yo Seob- Shut up… (even though we’re not together anymore… I know Na Hyun still loves me… right?)

Jun Hyung- You want me to shut up? Make me. I love Na Hyun too much to see her get hurt by someone like you who doesn’t know how to love.

-“Doesn’t know how to love?” Why do those words sound familiar? … Oh yeah; Gi Kwang had said the same thing earlier when he lied about liking Na Hyun… Yo Seob questioned himself; was Gi Kwang right when he said that? Doesn’t he know how to love? Was he that bad a boyfriend to Na Hyun? All along, he thought that he didn’t make such a bad boyfriend… he thought he was just fine… but, was this the bitter truth? Was he a clueless lover? Suddenly, he felt Jun Hyung’s strangling hand on his neck. Jun Hyung lifted him up while strangling him; his breath was failing him. -

Jun Hyung- For a human, you sure don’t know how to use your heart. You’re better off a robot. Our fates must have been mixed up… (strangles Yo Seob tighter) Na Hyun told me to stop appearing in her dreams so that she could devote herself to you. But from what I can see, even though I’ve left her, no difference had been made. In fact, you made things worse; you broke up with her. You coward; how dare you make her cry. Afraid of the army leader, are we? (tightens the strangling again) You want something to fear? Just go to sleep, and I’ll be here waiting for you.

-Yo Seob’s sight was starting to black out; he couldn’t inhale anymore air. Jun Hyung raises his other arm to punch the suffocated Yo Seob, when suddenly…-

“…wa …up… bie… wake up Seobie…”

-Yo Seob hears Na Hyun’s voice; he opens his eyes, gasping for breath. Just lying down on the mattress, he felt so weak and was sweating all over from the dreaded dream. It was terrible… terribly real. He touches his neck for a while… and he remembers Jun Hyung’s last words: “Just go to sleep, and I’ll be here waiting for you.” He was horrified; he didn’t want to sleep anymore. It was too much to take in. He then noticed that Na Hyun was looking at him with concerned eyes. If Na Hyun found out what the dream was about… if she knew that Jun Hyung appeared to him, not to mention, almost killed him, she would freak. It’s best to keep Jun Hyung’s appearance to himself, Yo Seob thought; he didn’t want to give Na Hyun more stress. And actually, he himself still finds it hard to recover from Jun Hyung’s unexpected visit. -

Na Hyun- (worried) You look really scared. Was the dream that bad?

Yo Seob-… I… (stutters)

Na Hyun-When I was sleeping, I suddenly heard groaning noises. I woke up then I saw you tossing and turning, so I woke you up. You looked like you were having a really bad nightmare. Do you want to talk about it?

Yo Seob- … Ani (no). I’m fine.

Na Hyun- Oh… okay. Do you think you can you go back to sleep?

Yo Seob-… (go back to sleep? >.< NOOO!!) … Um, maybe I’ll skip sleep tonight.

Na Hyun- Oh; you still feel uncomfortable, don’t you? In fact, you look quite tense. And another thing, (Na Hyun touches Yo Seob’s forehead) strangely, you’re sweating a lot but you don’t seem to have a fever.

Yo Seob-… Yeah… my dream was nerve-wracking; that’s all. I’ll be okay.

Na Hyun- Well, how about some chocolate milk? It’s a small thing to offer, but I’d like to comfort you, even just a little bit. Ok? Please~ ?^o^

-How funny things were; that silly plea brought a smile back to Yo Seob’s anxious face. He was supposed to be the one taking care of her, not the other way around. But either way, he accepted Na Hyun’s chocolate milk offer. He remembers how he discovered that both he and Na Hyun love chocolate milk. He always brought chocolate milk to school during elementary. One day he noticed that the girl sitting next to him in class seems to have chocolate milk all the time too. And that’s how he and Na Hyun met.Remembering that… Yo Seob forgot about his nightmare for the moment. As Yo Seob tried to get up, his body wouldn’t follow; guess there was still a bit of shock left from meeting up with Jun Hyung.-

Yo Seob- Ah… I’m sorry; guess my body hasn’t completely recovered from the nightmare. My body feels weak; I can’t get up.

Na Hyun- Oh; that’s all right^^ I’ll just bring the chocolate milk here.

Yo Seob- I’m really sorry; I’ll try harder to get up. I’ll catch up with you.

Na Hyun- It’s okay; you don’t have to. Just chill ^_^

-Na Hyun leaves-

Yo Seob- (T.T) (This is embarrassing… I have to get up. I come here claiming I’d take care of her and now the tables turn. C’mon body; up, up you go.)

-While Yo Seob tries harder to move his body, Na Hyun goes to the kitchen to prepare the chocolate milk. On her way there, she passes by the sleeping Gi Kwang. At least one of her visitors was getting sleep. Yo Seob, on the other hand, plans to skip sleep^^ As she thought about that, she remembered something Jun Hyung said to her before he left for the army:“That’s a negative. You humans must sleep.” Then she thought to herself: “Hehe^^ Yeah; Yo Seob shouldn’t skip sleep. He needs it.” As she grabs the carton of chocolate milk from the refrigerator, a cold wind touched her shoulder. It touched so gently… like… like Jun Hyung…

Suddenly, she felt as though it was Jun Hyung’s hand on her shoulder. She didn’t want to turn around. She was scared. She was scared to see his sad face that would surely pierce through her. She could just imagine the depressed looked of Jun Hyung. No; she couldn’t bare thinking about it. She told him before to stop appearing in her dreams… that was really hard for her to say, but it looked harder for Jun Hyung to hear it. And now, she doesn’t know if this is a dream or what, but she knows she can feel Jun Hyung’s presence. Jun Hyung’s hand seemed to grip harder on her shoulder. She couldn’t move; she was paralyzed with fear and concern; the fear of seeing the anguished face of a brother-like friend… and the concern if she should or shouldn’t turn to face this friend, knowing the despair in his eyes. Then suddenly…-

*THUMP*

*Ow*

Na Hyun- ! (forgets about Jun Hyung and turns around) Yo Seob!?

Yo Seob- yeah (^^;)…

-The noise was Yo Seob who fell on the kitchen floor. Apparently, he limped all the way to the kitchen from the bed room. Just the thought of that made Na Hyun want to laugh; she could imagine how ridiculously hard it was for her visitor to get to the kitchen.-

Na Hyun- Hahaha^^ Didn’t I tell you to just chill? You look so pathetic right now^^ (helps Yo Seob up)

Yo Seob- (sarcasm) Thank you, thank you; hurt people love to hear that.

Na Hyun- Hehe :>

-Na Hyun helps Yo Seob to sit down. Then,she pours the chocolate milk into a glass cup that was on the kitchen table, and hands the cup to Yo Seob.-

Na Hyun- Here you go^^

Yo Seob- Thanks. (drinks up)

-While Yo Seob was drinking, Na Hyun felt it again; she felt a cold wind brush against her face, like Jun Hyung’s fingers. She got reminded of those times when it was her who couldn’t go to sleep. She counted on Jun Hyung a lot during those times. Jun Hyung knew she loved chocolate milk and thought of the idea of letting her drink some when she couldn’t sleep. Then when she finishes drinking, Jun Hyung would tuck her back in and tickle her for a while. Afterwards, he’d give her 2 thumbs up; his way of asking if things were okay already. She’d nod happily and fall into a sweet sleep. What a great brother-like friend. Yo Seob soon noticeshow quiet Na Hyun was. She had a poker face on… but, why so? He decided to start a conversation.-

Yo Seob- Ya (hey)… if Gi Kwang and I are taking care of you tonight, who’s up tomorrow?

Na Hyun- ! (back to reality) Dong Woon Oppa is. His parents will be gone starting tomorrow because of a business trip. He’ll take care of me for 3 weeks.

Yo Seob- (O.O) WOW; 3 WEEKS!? … That’s pretty long… Can I ask you something?

Na Hyun- Yeah?

Yo Seob- When Gi Kwang was flirting with you, did you like it?

Na Hyun- (O.O) EH!?

Yo Seob- Well, you know, since we broke up, we’re pretty much single. While Gi Kwang was being flirty(-_-), you seemed to take it well.

Na Hyun- Hahaha^^ Though I have to admit that Gi Kwang knows how to act around women and is somewhat hot…

Yo Seob- (-_-) Just “somewhat”?

Na Hyun- ^^ Okay; so he’s VERY hot, I don’t think I’d get him as a boyfriend. Not that he would make a bad one; I’m sure he’d be really caring. After all, I’m not even his girlfriend, but he volunteered to take care of me. The reason is I’m dangerous, remember? With the Army Leader involved in my life, it isn’t safe to be around me. That’s why going here to take care of me is a really big risk for you and Gi Kwang Oppa. I locked you 2 out, but you still got in, you persistent little things you^^.

Na Hyun- Anyway, now that we’ve mentioned it, I’m starting to rethink having Dong Woon Oppa come over. If the Army Leader sees him, he might experience what happened to you; having his family and himself held captive by the army… but anyhow, why’d you ask if I liked Gi Kwang Oppa’s flirting?

Yo Seob- You didn’t exactly answer MY question; liked it or not?

Na Hyun- Hehe^^ Liked it. Honestly, what girl wouldn’t?

Yo Seob- Ok (-_-;)… So here’s why I asked: … Well… Gi Kwangwould definitely make a pretty good boyfriend. In fact, ALL my friends are good bachelors. You said it yourself, you like Gi Kwang’s flirting. If Dong Woon would stay 3 weeks to take care of you, and being our maknae (youngest) he’s the very sweet one, I  just…

-For some reason, Yo Seob was having a hard time finishing his sentence. He wanted to say “I just thought you might want to replace me for someone better by now… any of my friends would be able to support you more than I can…” but he couldn’t bring himself to say it. It would hurt too much. He remembers what Jun Hyung said in his dream: that Na Hyun probably hates him. If one thing, he knows that Na Hyun definitely doesn’t hate him; just like the caring person she has always been. But he wonders if love is still there… maybe it’s gone now? … Yo Seob decides to just let go of his sentence-

Yo Seob- (sighs) just forget it.

Na Hyun- Hmm? Why?

Yo Seob- Nothing… I’m sorry.

Na Hyun- For what?

Yo Seob- I don’t know^^ I just felt like saying it… maybe I’m sorry you don’t have a boyfriend anymore… this is the time where one comes in handy^^

Na Hyun- That’s alright ^_^ I’ve got God and I’ve got great friends; I’ll be okay. Thanks for caring.

Yo Seob- Sure.

Na Hyun- Hey… You know? … I don’t know how to say this but, I feel like… like Jun Hyung is around. Crazy right?

Yo Seob- (O.O) HUH? You too?

Na Hyun- HMM? (O.O) What do you mean by that?

Yo Seob- I mean the reason I don’t want to sleep is that…

-Yo Seob decides not to finish his sentence. He didn’t want to ruin Jun Hyung’s friend-image towards Na Hyun-

Na Hyun- ! Oh yeah! Speaking of you not wanting to sleep, I remember something Jun Hyung said while he was in his army robot state: He said (speaks in robot voice)“ Negative. You humans must sleep.” ^^ So I think he’s right. You shouldn’t skip sleep.

Yo Seob- (-_-;) Well yeah, but… (I’ll never wake up the moment I close my eyes!)… Are you sure we can’t just have an all-night party? (^^;)

Na Hyun- Silly Seobie^^ Is the dream that bad? So bad you’d rather stay awake all night?

Yo Seob- (-_-) Yes; seriously, it is.

Na Hyun- Well… (chuckles) it’s not so bad compared to my dreams… I don’t think I’ve told you, right? In my past dreams while you were still in the army, Jun Hyung kept showing to me.

Yo Seob-!

Na Hyun- And I… didn’t like that so much… because it became heavier on my heart to trade him for you… so I told him to go away… and now,… I feel like his presence is in here and it’s scaring me, Yo Seob. (looks sadly at Yo Seob) I don’t want to face him; not after all that happened. I hope he’s okay… I hope we find him soon… and when we do, I hope he’ll be okay in the army… (deeply sighs) Jun Hyung…

Yo Seob-! … (So that’s what Jun Hyung was talking about in my dream… I didn’t know that he appeared in Na Hyun’s dreams too… Even worse, didn’t know she asked him to leave for my sake… it’s official; I’M DOOMED (T.T) I’m never going back to sleep!)

Na Hyun- Well… those are my troubles^^ I’m sorry for dumping them on you all of a sudden.

Yo Seob- Nah; it’s okay.

Na Hyun- All right; time to sleep^^
