Guess whose back!

Been a bit busy lately and I haven't been able to even log on. I got a job which is super cool but it's definitely leaving me tired at the end of the day. Along with that I haven't been well health wise and I'm going to be having a lot of doctors appointments coming up. But I absolutely refuse to stop writing especially since I was finally getting on a roll with these updates. I'll continue to do my best to continue writing and I hope you guys will continue reading my stories. I really do appreciate it.

So DivaBoo_17 requested Ailee x G-Dragon and even gave me a prompt! Loved the prompt and I hope I did it justice. Thanks for giving me the idea. I started this once I got the prompt but it's been a month so it's definitely not the best. I want to apologize since it's not my best

Prompt: I saw your smile and I thought "Beautiful" and I may or may not have said it loudly and now you're looking at me with flushed cheeks- oh

There was absolutely nothing fun about waking up early every morning.

As Ailee got dressed she reminded herself that soon she'd be done with university and would be off doing better things with her life. But for the time being all she could do was get dressed and hurry on her way. As usual she stopped by the coffee shop near the campus and allowed herself fifteen minutes for the caffeine to kick in.

As she walked to her usual spot she was surprised to see it was taken. Quickly choosing a new spot she turned to look at the newcomer. She had been coming every single day for the past year and she had never spotted him before.

With a quick sip of her drink she couldn't help but look the stranger over. He looked about her age, black hair that was styled up and glasses. He was wearing a sweater but the sleeves were rolled up revealing a dragon tattoo on his left arm. She wasn't going to lie, he was very attractive. 

He didn't seem to notice anyone watching him as he was focused reading a book. He had a serious expression and she couldn't help but smile seeing someone so into a book. 

Looking at the time she stood up with a sigh and quickly finished off her drink. With a last glance at the stranger she exited and was soon on her way to school.

Dragon Tattoo

It was the nickname she had for the stranger. Every day since she first saw him he'd been at the coffee shop and the campus. It had become a routine. She'd arrive, get her drink, and cast glances at him. Over the weeks she noticed how he'd either be reading a book or writing something in a notebook.

Today was the exception. She arrived to find the small shop busy. It was finals week and of course all the students had decided to wake up early and study at the coffee shop. She ordered her usual and looked around finally spotting Dragon Tattoo in the back corner. It was then she realized that the only empty table was the one next to him. She thought about just leaving but it was still early and she could use the time to study. Taking a moment to calm her sudden nerves she walked to the seat, head down to avoid any possible eye contact. 

He didn't seem to notice her sit down though as he was focused on his phone. She took the opportunity to really look at him up close. He really was a good looking guy.

Taking a quick sip of her drink she looked up in time to catch him smile at something on his phone. It was the first time she'd seen him smile in the past weeks.

"Wow... beautiful..."

His sudden movement startled her. He looked up meeting her eyes and gave a small smile. She could only stare wide eyed as she realized she had spoken out loud... and his cheeks were flushed.

She wasn't the best in awkward situations so instead of saying something she quickly got up and fast walked to the door, shoving anyone in her way. Once outside she took a moment to catch her breath.

As she walked away with her face red of embarrassment she made a mental note to find a new coffee shop.

The only thing good about finals was the break that came after it. A time to catch up on life and make memories, or in Ailee's case, forget. It had been two weeks and she still felt embarrassed thinking about Dragon Tattoo. She had refused to even go near the coffee shop in fear that he'd spot her. 

Yet the craving for her usual drink brought her back to the spot that haunted her dreams. She arrived much later than usual and was glad to see the coffee shop nearly empty, no one with a dragon tattoo in sight. She let out a sigh of relief and quickly entered the shop, ordering and taking a seat. 

She looked around the shop, stopping to look at the back table where she had embarrassed herself. She laughed softly trying to ignore the feelings of awkwardness creeping up.

"Beautiful"

Instinctively she turned to look at the source of the voice. It wasn't until she was looking straight at Dragon Tattoo that what he said sunk in.

He smiled as he watched her redden, avoiding his gaze. 

"Is this seat taken?"

He didn't wait for her reply, it was pretty clear she wasn't going to be able to form one. Taking the seat across from her he watched and waited until she seemed more calm.

"My name's Jiyong."

He watched as she took a deep breath and finally looked up. "Ailee."

"Nice to meet you Ailee. I've been coming to the coffee shop everyday in the hopes of seeing you.. I guessed you weren't going to be coming soon though."

She bit her lip, shifting her gaze to her drink. He smiled and continued talking, "I'm glad I found you today. You left pretty quickly last time."

"I embarrassed myself," she finally replied looking up at him. He chuckled and she forced herself to concentrate on talking.

"Who hasn't?"

She looked at him with slight annoyance. He didn't know how she felt.

"Truthfully I'm glad you said something to me. I had been planning on how to talk to you but was having a hard time coming up with something"

"What?"

He looked at her with a twinkle in his eyes as he leaned in closer. "Did you think I hadn't noticed you the weeks prior to that moment? I tried to start a conversation but you beat me to it."

He tilted his head slightly as he watched her reaction. She lowered her eyes and focused on her drink. "Why?"

"I wanted to get to know you."

She slightly nodded at his response refusing to let him see her blushing. "Like a date?" She regretted the words immediately, wishing she could take them back. He simply laughed at her sudden embarrassment, leaning in closer. 

"Yes a date. Unless you want to count this as our first?"

For the first time she allowed herself to smile and it was his turn to force himself to concentrate. 

"Okay. When?"

He smiled in triumph at her response. "It's still early. Why not go for a walk?"

She nodded and happily followed him out the door, her drink long forgotten. As they walked around the empty school campus and a nearby park they learned more about each other. He told her his friends called him G-Dragon because of his tattoo and laughed when she told him the nickname she had for him. She told him her american name and how she came up with Ailee.

In a way they were opposites with their different likes in food, music, and activities. But their personalities matched up and they found that they mixed well.

As the date came to an end they both asked the question that was on their mind.

"What made you say beautiful?"

They laughed before replying simultaneously, "Your smile."

There was absolutely nothing fun about waking up early every morning. 

How could anybody be so happy so early in the morning?

It was the question students asked themselves when they entered the coffee shop after a much deserved break. In the corner was a couple, laughing and talking together, completely oblivious to those watching them.

The students observed them before continuing on with their day, leaving the happy couple to enjoy their coffee with a smile.

Finally! I managed to finish this without deleting it and restarting. So once again I know it's not the best but I hope you enjoy it.
