So MilkToaster requested Ailee x Mino almost a month ago and I'm so sorry I couldn't have it done sooner. I just like to take my time with these and don't even realize how much time passes. I hope you like it!

Prompt: Ailee and Mino are dating but she gets jealous/insecure with his growing popularity and new music. He notices this and decides to prove he loves her in a big way.

She bit her lip as she watched the music video playing in front of her. The pain in her chest was worse than the pain she was inflicting on her lip.

It was pathetic really and as the music video ended she couldn't help but laugh at herself. But the fake smile she tried to plaster on her face only made her feel worse.

Catching sight of a mirror by her bedroom door made her sigh. She suddenly felt self conscious. Was she not skinny enough? Was she not good enough?

She hated the feeling a music video could cause her. Especially when the music video was from none other than her boyfriend, Mino, someone who she should be supporting.

And she was. She absolutely supported him and was glad to see the positive reactions to his new song, Body. The only problem was her recent insecurity in the relationship.

They'd met during MAMA 2014. He'd just debuted that year with Winner and they had performed right after her. Their first encounter was backstage where Mino had introduced himself as a big fan of her. She was thankful and quickly returned the compliment by mentioning how much she loved their debut and his solo works. By the end of the award show he had had managed to get her number. 

It had taken him a while to work up the nerve to text her, afraid to come off too forward. Her performance on Immortal Song for the Michael Bolton special presented the perfect opportunity. It was a simple text of praise that led to a whole conversation that lasted hours into the night, neither wanted to be the one to end it. 

As the days, weeks, and months passed the conversations turned deeper and soon the two confided everything in each other. They used every opportunity they could get to be together and even then it wasn't enough. Finally after almost a year since they'd met he'd asked her on a date. 

She'd agreed and the two had been in a steady relationship for almost a year now. It was still a secret from many but both knew they wanted to go public one day.

As she thought about how they'd met the pain in her chest grew. A range of various emotions ran through her head. 

First most she felt insecure. From the start of the relationship she hadn't paid attention to things such as age difference or schedule conflicts. It wasn't until someone had pointed it out. Don't you worry about the fact that he's younger? He spends so much time with others who are closer to his age. She knew they hadn't meant it in a rude way but it still hurt her. What if they were right? He was gaining more popularity. What if she was holding him back?

Secondly she felt jealous. He was always surrounded by beautiful label mates and she felt jealous that they could spend time with him. His music video hadn't helped. Seeing him with such a beautiful girl with what she considered a better body than hers hurt her. And she hated the feeling.

Lastly she felt guilty. She wanted to support him whole heartedly but it was hard. He was always there cheering her on and praising her but it was hard for her to do the same. She hated herself for it.

With a large sigh she pushed the thoughts away instead choosing to focus on her upcoming performance for MAMA 2016. Back to the place where they'd first met.

Final rehearsals for the show were the best opportunity to spend time together.

The moment he'd stepped in the arena he'd been on the lookout for her. Once he'd found her he hurried over, his group members aware of his plans. As he neared her he was thankful for the lack of people around the area. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her towards him. 

She let out a soft giggle and happily hugged him. He leaned down to give her a quick kiss but was surprised when she moved her face away and instead kissed her cheek. She couldn't bring herself to look at him, ashamed of her own feelings. She'd tried to ignore the feelings for the day but seeing him arrive with his label mates had brought them back.

He knew there was something wrong right away but he was also aware that they weren't in the best spot to talk. So taking a quick look around he lead her to a more secluded area. 

"Is everything okay?"

The gentleness in which he asked only made her feel more guilty. 

"I'm fine. Why?"

He took a long look at her. He knew her and wasn't going to allow her to play the "I don't know what you're talking about" card.

"No, you're not. What's wrong?"

She remained silent, instead looking around the small area where they were. She spotted a mirror nearby and couldn't help but make a face at her appearance. Mino who had been watching her, noticed her facial expression change and followed her eye sight to the mirror. He stared at their reflections before turning to look at her. A thought entered his mind and he froze.

"You know you look absolutely beautiful today."

She let out a groan as he looked at her in suprise. She took a step back and instinctively looked at the mirror. He watched her actions carefully and wondered if his thought was correct. He placed a gentle hand on her arm and that was all it took for her to open up.

"I don't know how I feel. All I know is that I don't feel beautiful."

"What are you-?"

She didn't let him ask his question as she began rambling and pacing around the small area. He watched her intently trying to understand everything.

"-and the music video and song-"

That caught his attenton. 

"I can't even compare. Not just to her but every girl out there. You're younger and -"

She continued pacing waving her hands around and pointing towards the others. Suddenly she stopped talking and just stood in front of the mirror. 

Taking a step in front of her he blocked her view of the mirror. She took a deep breath trying to calm her beating heart. She hadn't expected to open up to him about something so childish.

"Amy," he said placing both hands on her sides. She looked up at hearing her birth name and met his eyes. "How long has this been going on?"

"For a while now"

He sighed before pulling her into an embrace. She felt herself tear up as she wrapped her arms around him. 

"You know I-"

"Mino!"

The two pulled back immediately as she wiped at the tears that had escaped. Upon spotting Seungyoon they relaxed and both stepped out of their small area.

"What's up?"

Seungyoon looked between the two and noticed Ailee's teary eyes. He looked at Mino questioningly but he simply shook his head. Nodding in understanding Seungyoon spoke, "We need to go. Have to rest up before later."

Mino nodded and motioned for Seungyoon to go away. Before he left he gave Ailee a hug, suprising her. "You need to rest up as well. We have to make sure that beautiful voice of yours is ready for tomorrow."

She gave him a thankful smile and he left with a wave. 

"I was saying. You know-"

"You should go," she said cutting in. He looked at her with sadness but decided to listen. She wasn't in the mood to talk and he didn't want to make things worse. With a quick hug that she weakly reciprocated he left to join his group. He watched as she walked alone back to her original spot, smiling as if nothing had happened with her dancers. 

It killed him to see her thinking that way and he was determined to prove to her just how much he loved her. Even if it came with consequences.

"Best Male Artist is... Song Mino! Congratulations."

He stood up thanking those around him who were cheering him on. Ailee who had been sitting in front of him cheered loudly as he walked by and he smiled seeing her so happy. 

As he walked to the stage "Body" played in the background and many people could be heard screaming for it. Finally reaching the stage he gave a small bow to the presenters and took his award. He waited for the crowd to settle down before taking a deep breath. 

"Hello it's Song Mino," he paused as people cheered and continued. "Firstly I'm here before God and everyone, so I'm nervous. Thank you so much for giving me this great award. I'm alone this time so it's a new feeling. I want to thank president Yang HyunSuk and president Yang Minsuk for giving me this opportunity. And Inner Circle I love you so much. Finally there's someone very special who I want to thank."

He paused looking ahead at where everyone was sitting. They made eye contact and he watched as her eyes widened in realization.

"I want to give a big thanks to Ailee. She has supported me so much with both group and solo activities. I couldn't have asked for a better girlfriend. I love you. Thank you."

The noise that erupted in the arena was a mixture of shock, surprise, denial, and delight. All cameras were quickly pointed at Ailee who was having a hard time masking her surprise. Everyone's attention was drawn to Mino who made his way towards her. 

The screams seemed to get louder as he walked right up to her, leaned down and captured her lips in a kiss. She closed her eyes completely ignoring the screams in the background. As they separated he smiled at her and finally followed the presenters backstage. 

Those around her were yelling and cheering them on, happy to see a couple break the standard and go public. 

The next presenters began talking, trying to get the show back on track but many were still not over what had happened. And who could blame them? Mino had revealed he was in a relationship with none other than Ailee and had publicly told her he loved her. It was something no one had expected.

By the end of it, all eyes were looking for the two. They remained hidden behind the others and managed to walk backstage together. 

Once hidden from cameras she pulled him away into the nearest empty room. The moment the door closed she turned to stare him down.

"What was that?"

He looked into her eyes and saw a range of emotions. Anger, confusion, worry, and finally love. 

He placed his hand on her cheek and she closed her eyes, loving the feeling of warmth that she had learned to associate with him. "I love you. There's no one else that I want. You're the most beautiful girl in my eyes. I wanted everyone to know that."

"What about the agency?" She asked taking hold of his hand on her cheek and interlocking their fingers. "Your fans?"

"I don't know," he said answering truthfully. He knew there would be consequences to his actions but seeing her so happy was worth it. "And I don't care. As long as I have you everything will be okay."

A tear threatened to fall but he wiped it away with his free hand. "I'll continue reminding you this every day because you're worth it all. I promise."

Letting go of her hand he pulled her closer and she reached out to hug him. He smiled, peppering her with small kisses before finally reaching her lips. Her eyes fluttered shut as he deepened the kiss. She felt her heart rate increase as his breathing became deeper. His fingers played with her hair as she ran her hand down his back.

They separated to catch their breaths. He placed his forehead on hers and admired how adorable she looked with her cheeks flushed.

The noise outside told them it was time to go but neither wanted to move away. Finally Ailee moved away first. He sent a pout her way and she laughed. "Let's go. We have some explaining to do."

"Doesn't matter" he replied quickly giving her another peck on the lips. She lightly pushed him away and moved towards the door.

"Oh and by the way," he said stopping her in her tracks, "who do you think the song is about?"

She looked at him in confusion but as he moved closer she understood.

"The only difference, thank god, is that you're not an ex. So I'll be seeing you and your beautiful body later."

He said the last part into her ear and smirked seeing her shiver. With a blush she pushed him off, opened the door and walked off. He followed behind her with a wide smile, both completely oblivious to those watching them.

There was no doubt they were a couple, a beautiful and happy couple.

So I started this yesterday at midnight and worked on it for over an hour and ended up sleeping at 2am. I just couldn't stop and I felt so inspired especially with Mino's Body playing in the background while I wrote this.

I want to do a three part fic where two guys are involved and both are completely in love with Ailee. They both try to win her over (without knowing about the other) and she has conflicted feelings. In the end she comes to a realization and chooses one of them. 

So my question is, what two guys should it be between? 

Once I have the two guys I'll start on it and the first 2 chapters will be them with Ailee. On the 2nd chapter I'll include a poll where you can vote for who should end up with her.
