"You're late" she said.

I'm so sorry. The traffic was really packed and-"she cut me off before I could finish my sentence.

"You don't own a car." 

, I thought to myself. "So you knew" I said while avoiding her eyes. "Look I'll just be honest." She nodded.

"Okay so on my way here, I stumbled upon a new bookstore and I just couldn't bring myself to not go in there."

"So you're late just because you were busy looking at the books?" She asked in a surprising tone.

I just laugh. "Oh and look what I boug-"

"I'm leaving"

"Wait,what? But I just got here"

"Yes AND for an HOUR I was waiting for you. You want to know something? I was actually worried that something might have happened to you but to my surprise,you're fine and you even bought yourself some books.

"Momo I'm sorry. Please don't leave" I said hoping that she would stay. "I should have texted you or something but I didn't and I'm sorry for that."

She left.
