"Well that flight was too long for my comfort. There's a woman in economy that kept on complaining about her seat. I was this close to telling her off. She should seriously get a business class next time if she's going to be whiney about economy. She's a freakin' economy!" Wendy ranted as she walks beside Emi out of the cabin crew locker room.
"It's not like it's the first time you've had someone like that in a flight, you need to chill. We're not in a plane anymore. We're out. No more stress." Emi reminded.
Emi and Wendy had always been together starting from their trainings to being official cabin crew. Both can't imagine being without another person. Even their superiors can't deny how well they work together. Wendy had always been Emi's rock. Ever since Emi's parents moved to New Zealand, she's been her only family in Korea. She's the only person who can get through to someone as timid and quiet as Emi. Once Wendy kept pushing Emi for them to live together with her family. True to Emi's nature, she passed on the offer. She doesn't want to become a burden to them. Emi is never good with dealing with people to begin with. It was Wendy who thought her how to face passengers with a smile.
"Oh! Can we go to the shops before we head off? I want to buy my housemate a gift." Emi suggested as she pulled her friend towards the shops.
"That reminds me, how was your move? And is this housemate of yours decent enough to even live with you?"
"He is. We bought stuff for the house before we moved. He seemed like a good guy."
Wendy paused and pulled Emi to a stop. "A man?!?! You moved in with a man?!?! Is there an engagement of somesort your parents set up that you never told me?!? Or are my ears fooling me?!?"
