INT. - His & Her Apartment - His Room - Sunday Morning   A week had passed, and it bothers Emi that Jaehyun has not been himself since. He's been coming home late from drinking, he's been smoking every chance he gets,  and at times spaced out on the couch. She felt the need get some sense into her housemate's brain.    "Wake up!!!", she said, punching his arm senseless. "We're going to the park, and you're going with me. NO MATTER WHAT.", as she pulls the arm of her lifeless housemate.   

 

EXT - Lonely Tree, Olympic Park - 10:00AM, Sunday

  They drove to the Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, she brought Jaehyun to the particularly hilly area of the park where one tree stands alone on top. Carrying a huge picnic basket, she starts setting up, as he stands behind her, scoffing. Jaehyun felt the whole thing was bothersome.    As she sits, Emi taps the space next to her and told him to sit beside her. They sat there for a while, looking at the view, people watching. She hands him a club sandwich, forcing him to eat. He took it, still lifeless, yet a huge improvement from his behavior the past week. "You know, the tree behind us, right there... is one brave tree. Despite standing alone on a hill, he never forgets to look alive.", she said.    "What are you trying to say? That I look dead?"    "No, I was trying to make a point with that tree and your situation, but... I guess I didn't think it through.", she pouted.    Amused by the senseless remark his housemate did, all he could do was put his hand on her head, like what he always does. He gave her a soft smile, and said "Thanks. Whatever your point is."   She removed the hand on top of her head, "You know, I know this may sound too intrusive of the situation, but we are all here for you. I am here for you. Your restaurant team is here for you. Johnny and Mark is here for you. If you ask her kindly, Wendy will be there for you. If ever you wake up, and think no  one needs - or loves you, we do. We are here."   He brought back his hand on the top of her head, adoringly shaking her. Trying his best to give her a soft smile. "Thank you."    She looked down and smiled, a bit satisfied that her housemate is trying. As she was about to bite on her sandwich a little boy running bumped towards her making the sandwich land on her face. The parents apologized for their son and walked away. Emi was left with bits and pieces of sandwich on her and face clothes, but rather than helping his housemate, he just laughed at her senseless.    "Eiiiii... How dare you laugh at me now?!", not sensing her frustration he continues to laugh like a madman. "Look what I have to go thru to make you laugh like that, mister." He chuckles as he cleans her up.   With his laughter dying down for a bit, it made a brief silent pause between them as he suddenly brushed his finger on her face delicately, catching her off guard. He didn't seem to notice his effect, and continued on laughing, "That was epic! We should go to picnics all the time if I have to see you like that. HAHAHA!"   After getting herself cleaned, she spotted Jaehyun lying down with a One Piece manga covering his face from the sun. She sat next to him, "We didn't come here for you to sleep. We came here for you to breath, think about things, and get yourself together."   He suddenly puts his head on her lap, making her wide eyed. "This is nice.", he said. "Let's just stay like this for a bit, please."   She sighed, removing the manga from his face, as she was about to give a flick on his forehead. "Are you listening
