INT - His & Hers Apartment - Tuesday Night

Emi arrived to a delicious smell coming from kitchen. With the agenda to scare the out of Jaehyun, she took light steps as she heads to the kitchen. Jaehyun thought his roomate was being ridiculous pulling such a stunt - the way she banged their front gate gave away her arrival, he kind of went along with it - for fun.

And just as she was about to surprise him- "Oh! You're back!", Jaehyun greeted, wearing a black apron over his white pullover - coming out from the kitchen, wiping his hands clean. I hope you haven't ate yet. I kind of made dinner from the restaurant leftovers."

Emi was frozen and a little bit humiliated of her "well thought of" plan. She pouted and rushed to her bedroom to save face. 

"By the way, boxes of mail comes in every other day for you. I put them all by your bedroom door.", Jaehyun shouted from the kitchen while he plates their meal.

Emi found the boxes Jaehyun mentioned, putting them inside her room. Smiling at his thoughtfulness. She was also delighted to see that the house was still in order. And completely dusted as well. "Thank you!", she shouted before she closes the door shut. 

Jaehyun figured they eat at the living room where the huge cozy couch is at, setting up the coffee table for their first meal together as housemates. It's a good way for them to actually warm up to each other since the last time they were together was during their moving day. 

Emi heads down for dinner donning a grey hoodie and comfy shorts. "I was actually going to suggest the we eat here instead, I missed this couch.", she said with delight towards Jaehyun who is finishing up final preparations in the kitchen. 

"I give you... Jeyook Bokkeum (Korean Spicy Pork Stir-fry)! It's my mom's recipe. So if you hate it, you're also hating on my mom.", Jaehyun winks as he puts the dish infront of them.

"Do we have wine glasses? I brought this." Emi shyly handed the wine to Jaehyun as he quickly studied it. 

"Oh! You bought wine, perfect!", he said as he brought out two wine glasses.

"A toast, to being housemates." 

"To being housemates.", she smiled at his gesture.

Emi grabs a bite of Jaehyun's dish, making him feel nervous all of a sudden for her reaction. She immediately gave him a thumbs up, resulting to him beaming her a satisfactory smile. 

"Come to think of it, this is the first time we really sat together as housemates after moving in."

"Yeah." She replied, before taking a small sip of her wine. "Kind of weird and awkward in a good way. I'm not good with people, or making friends you see."

"And how's that? You're a cabin crew. Aren't you like supposed to be good with people?" 

"It's not like I'm in my cabin crew mode 24/7. I'm the type of person who gets tired of actually going out there you know -
