Jieun’s POV

During recess, Mark wasn’t with us but when the principal came Mark was there with Koeun but why her? He asked what happened so the boys told him exactly what happened. I went back to class then Mark came in with Koeun. He had a disappointed look on his face. When he sat I called his name but he didn’t say a word and just ignored me completely so I gave up.

I looked at Koeun and she was smirking and she also waved at me sarcastically. Before going home, our homeroom teacher needed help from the girls to clean up the library so we did. It was around 7 at night. I was about to leave when Koeun’s best friend told me the teacher needed more help at the store room.

So we went together but she suddenly got a phone call so I went in first. It was dark and the teacher was not there too. Suddenly, I heard the door slammed behind me. It was locked from the outside. I struggled to asked for help but it was no use. No one will hear me. Why did I leave my bag in the library! Ugh! It’s so cold and dark. I started crying but the same time my eyes felt heavy. When I was about to close my eyes, I heard someone calling my name. The voice sound so familiar. It was Mark.

“Mark? Is that you?”

“Yeah it’s me, wait a second” he said while panting heavily.

My tears started rolling down again. After waiting, he came back and the doors are opened. He hugged me tightly and pulled me out of the dark room with his arms around my shoulder. He cups my cheeks and wiped my tears with his thumb.

 “I’m sorry that I ignored you and I’m sorry for misunderstanding. I should have listened to you.” He said. I removed his hand from my cheeks and grabbed it.

“I thought I’d lose you.”

“It will never happen.” He said.

“Oh and how did you know I was here?”

So he explained it to me and it turns out; after school, Ten told Mark that he likes Bora so Mark was so confused because Koeun told Mark that Ten hugged me in the sickroom before Mark went in. Ten then told Mark that everything Koeun said was a lie. Ten only helped me with my injured forehead because the nurse wasn’t there, that’s all. Mark felt bad for misunderstanding and also
