"Y-y-yes. Hi," Jongin said and tries to control himself from blushing.

  Soojung and Jongin talked their whole free period, well mostly Soojung since Jongin was busy trying to keep himself from smiling too much. They agreed to do their project during their break time or free period throughout the whole week so that they could get it over and done with.   That night during dinner, Jongin was distracted he could not eat well. His parents got worried. "Why aren't you eating?" His father asked.   Jongin snapped out of his gaze and answered, "What? Oh nothing. I'm just full."   His parents looked at each other and gave each other worried looks. There were silence for awhile until Jongin asked, "There's this girl at school. She's my maths classmate and now she's my partner for a project."   Jongin smiled nervously before asking, "Why do i blush so much around her?"    Jongin doesn't hide anything from his parents. They're a close family and they share everything with each other. And he felt that this was something his parents could help him with since Taemin clearly wasn't much of a help. Hearing that question, his father laughed and his mother just smiled. Jongin looked lost when he saw that.   "You're blushing right now talking about this," Jongin's father laughed as he said that.    "Don't be mean will you, you were in his position once," Jongin's mother said as she walks towards Jongin and gave him a hug. "My little boy is growing up," she said as she hugs him.   "What? I don't get it. What do you mean?" Jongin said.   While washing the dishes his father responded, "I believe that just means you're having your first crush." He walks pass Jongin and gives him a high five.   The dinner table was left with Jongin and his mother. "Crush? What's that? Like love?" Jongin break the silence.   "Well it's not really love, but it can possibly bloom into that. Having a crush is a natural thing that happens to everyone. It does not mean that there's feelings though, it may just means that you adore them. Like they're pretty, or you like being around them and it makes you happy. You're growing up Jongin, it's normal to have this kind of feelings," his mother responded as she smiles.   A crush? That's a first for Jongin definitely. He never felt attracted to a girl this way before until now. Knowing that it was possibly his first crush made him excited. He wanted to tell Taemin about it, but Taemin would blabber all day about it being the love of his life. Figuring out what was this feelings, he looked forward to school everyday.   Jongin and Soojung got closer because of the project and they hung out pretty much everyday. Jongin felt delighted, not just because he finally got to talk to his first crush, but because he finally has a real friend in the school.    2 years later   Jongin and Soojung became the best of friends. Even after 2 years, Jongin still had all these feelings whenever he met her or talk to her. He no longer thinks that it's just a crush. Being already 15, he figured that maybe he does have real feelings for her. He did not know whether he wants to pursue it or not especially since they're close friends. It may ruin their friendship.
