Broken Red ThreadAlpha: Among the three status, Alpha is the most dominant one. Alphas can mate with both omegas and betas, but not with other alphas. They tend to be strong and possessive towards their mates. Most of alphas population consist of males, which is why female alphas are considered as rare.
Beta: Betas are basically normal humans who can alternate between being dominant (but always less dominant than alphas) and submissives (but will not be any more submissive than omegas).

Heat: It’s the period where omegas are fertile and able to produce children by having with their mates. Heats usually occur once in a semester or trimester. In this verse, heats only occur to omegas.
Invisible Red Thread: derived from red string of fate, is an East Asian belief originating from Chinese legend and is also used in Japanese legend, one that Sungjong has deep interest in. According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the ankles of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This
