" Lily, I'm Home! Sorry for being late again. I had to sort out a lot of books today and I brought us food. And I brought you some books to read when you're bored and...Lily? Lily where are you?!..." That's strange. Lily is always running towards me when I come home and attacks me with her bone crushing hugs. Where is this little troublemaker? " Lily where are? That's not funny!" I put my shoes aside and stepped into the living room. It was a pretty mess like this morning. Well I guess I should clean up tomorrow. I lay down my Bag and Phone on the table and saw a letter with my name on it. " Don't search for me, I want to be alone."  Aish this girl, always making me worried. Maybe something happened at school? Well I know exactly where she is so, I think I should give her some time to calm down and wait till she comes on her own. And that's what happened an hour later. I guess she was hungry and came to the kitchen where I was reading a book and waiting with a plate with Pizza on it. She loves Pizza. I didn't say anything and just read my book, stealing some glances at her when she began eating. " The girls in my class made fun of me because I don't have a Family. I was really angry and hurt and I wanted to tell them that I have a great sister like you, but I couldn't. I know you wouldn't want that so I said nothing." She started crying and I felt really sorry for her. I didn't know it was that hard for her. I cupped her cheek with one hand and wiped her tears away with the other. "I'm sorry. I can't even protect you properly. I'm sorry that you have to bear with such a sister like me. But you know that no one can know about us ok? I know it's hard but we have to get through it, together, alright? Please stop crying. We have to be strong, not only for us but also for Mom and Dad. And ignore these stupid brats. You don't need to listen to such crap, ok? Just be yourself and have fun with your friends. I mean, you have friends, right?" She stopped crying and a small smile appeared on her face. " Of course I do. I'm not so unpopular like you!" She started laughing and I found myself laughing with her. She wasn't wrong, I had only one "friend", the bookstore Ahjumma, and she only talks about books the whole day. But she would be the only one I can consider a friend. I'm loner and besides her and my sister I don't have contact to anyone. Not even in the Cafe I work in the Mornings. Well I have to be nice and do some small talk but that's all. We stopped laughing and I hugged her tightly. " Well that's ok. I don't need anyone besides you anyway." I started kissing her all over her face and she wiggled herself out of my tight embrace and ran laughing to her room. I was right behind her and when I got to her, I started tickling her and we played for a bit like our parents did with me back then. After some time we laid breathless on her bed. " Unni?" " Hmm?" "... Do you think that we can ever live a normal live without having to worry about people finding out that you're a Witch?" " Well, I don't know. Maybe they would accept us if they were ever honestly interested in us and not scared or even about to kill us. But I believe that there are some people who would accept what I am. Well I guess we have to give them some time to adjust to that thought. But I'm happy right now with what we have so I don't really care and-", " No that's not true! I know that you wish to have friends, to live a normal live like people do and not to worry about things like money. your jobs, my school and you being a Witch! I know how hard you try every day to hang on and smile just to make me happy! Be honest to yourself, just once, please Unni!" Wow I never thought Lily would know so much. I guess I'm bad at hiding things from her. " Alright. I'm sorry for worrying you, sis. You're right...It's really hard for me and I'd like to be how other normal 16 year olds but I can't. I have responsibility over our lives so I have to go on and it's ok. I'm not lying when I say that I'm happy 'cause I am. And you know why?" She was sitting in front of me and starring at me with watering eyes. She'll always be a crybaby after all. I took her hands in my and send her a bright smile." Because I have you by my side! So stop feeling bad about me 'cause I'm fine and start to worry about yourself." I hit her playfully on the head and she giggled. We hugged each other tightly and I kissed her head. " Everethings going to be fine. Alright enough with that emotionally talk. Hurry and get ready for bed." I stood up and wanted to leave when Lily grabbed my hand. "Unni.Can you tell me the story tonight?" I smiled at her cuteness. Guess she'll never grow up from being my baby sis." Of course. Go get ready. I'll come later when I get ready myself, alright?" She smiled happily and ran off to the bathroom. I got also ready for bed and went back to her room. She was already in bed and made space for me to lay down beside her. I did as she wanted and made myself comfortable beside her. " Alright, ready for the story?" She nodded her head and laid it on my shoulder. I smiled and started talking." A long time ago, when people where scared of the forests and the monsters that were told to live there, there were two families living peaceful together. A Werewolf Family and a Witch Family. The two Families were good friends and even raised their children together. Even if they had to hide themselves from Humans, they lived a happy live, always  supporting each other. One day, the eldest daughter of the Witch Family, Marina, had enough of hiding and left the house to go to the human town. She disguised herself with normal clothes and was thrilled by all these humans and the environment. She stayed there for a couple of weeks and made friends and even found love. Marina fell in love with the Mayor's son and when someone asked about her Family, she replied that she didn't have one. It hurt to say these words but she couldn't say the truth and she didn't want to leave either, so she lied and wanted to forget her Family. More time flew by and Marina married the man and shortly afterwards, they became Parents. Marina was depressed after giving birth to their daughter and she wouldn't stop crying. Her Husband didn't know what to do and told her to tell her her problems. She hesitated a bit but finally told him the truth about herself and her Family. She felt much better after telling him the truth but he didn't look happy at all. He was furious that his wife lied to him and that she was a disgusting monster like he was told from when he was a child. He didn't show any of his real feelings and told her that it's okay and that she doesn't have to worry. In that moment he decided to use her and get rid of these hideous creatures. That night Marina told her Husband everything that she knew about Witches and Werewolves. She thought that he was interested in her Family and her but she was wrong in believing him. A few days later, when Marina was at the Mayor's house, he told her that he would be in the neighbor town for some business with their daughter but in reality he was planning something evil. He gathered some towns man and together they made their way into the Forest to eliminate the monsters. When they finally reached their destination, he planned to let his man kill all of them. He knew that they wouldn't be stupid to just show themselves to Humans, so he showed them his daughter and Marinas Parents knew that he was saying the truth because this child had a powerful aura and, you can say, screamed out Witch. They wanted to see their daughter so much that they didn't sense the danger coming from these man and were attacked by those man. Before the Werewolves could even get to help their friends, the fight was long over. The Witches were too weak because of all the months. waiting and hoping to see their daughter alive and safe back home. This wish wasn't going to be granted to them, as they were greeted by death instead. The Wolves were Furious and started to attack the Humans. The Mayor's son knew that they wouldn't win against this beasts, so they fled back to the town. He was anxious and didn't know what would happen to him or this town after this but he was sure that the Werewolves wouldn't just let them be. He had to come up with a plan, as soon as possible. And then he caught sight of his crying daughter that was handled by one of his man. That was it. He told one of the man to bring him a street dog and that's what he did. The man was unsure but did what the man told him. He let the dog go "play" with his baby daughter, like he said, and soon the blood bath had even him cringe in disgust. He stabbed the dog and wrapped the little dead body in a cloth and they all went to the Mayor's house. When everybody was awake and gathered he showed them his daughter and everybody was shocked, Marina was crying over the little body and was shaking terrible. The man didn't pay attention to that and leaned closer to her so that no one beside them could hear. He told her that on their way, they were attacked by Werewolves. He also said that they knew about Marina and that they couldn't accept the Fact that she had a Family with a Human and that her Family that she abandoned has to pay for her decision. She couldn't believe what she heard and started panicking. Her Parents. She ran out of the House and into the Forest. When she arrived at her old House, she saw the Werewolves hovering above the dead bodies of her Family. In that moment she was just Furious an didn't even pay attention to any of the words that the Werewolves said. She didn't want to believe that they really did it but the blood on the Werewolves said otherwise. She started to cast a spell and cursed the Werewolves. As Furious as she was, she wasn't going to kill them how they ( supposedly) killed her Family and her little baby daughter. After that, Marina disappeared and the Werewolves also flee from the Forest. But one man was standing there in the dark and laughing to himself, like a crazy person he his. That's the true story behind the separation between Witches and Werewolves, but Witches didn't want to believe the Werewolves and from then on this Werewolf Family was cursed for all these generations and were scared of the power of Witches and all Witches were hating not only the Humans for having to be hiding but also the Werewolves for killing a Family from their Ancestor. And sadly, that's the end." " Unni. Why can't the other Witches just believe our words? I mean Marina is our grand grand (some grands later) grand mother. We had Marinas diaries and we know that she later found out that the Werewolves didn't do anything wrong and that she couldn't find the Werewolves to apologize to them and died before releasing them." " Well, as you said we HAD them, and our parents also tried to convince the Witches but they want to have solid evidence and not just some talking." " And were are the Diaries now?" " I don't know but I'm sure that we're going to find them and finally unite the Witches and the Werewolves." "Really?" " Yeah. Now go to sleep and don't think about sleeping until noon 'cause were cleaning the House tomorrow, understood?!" "Alright, Unni. Good night. Love ya." "Me too." With that we hugged each other and I kissed her on the Forehead. I covered her up and got into my own room. I really hope that we'll have peace between us soon but now I just want to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a looong and tiring day.
