6 Months

Minseok finishes adding the final touches before standing back up to proudly examine his handiwork.

“Yer’ a wizard, Kyungsoo,” he says, cooing to the infant dressed in his Gryffindor uniform, complete with tiny circle-framed glasses and a lightning bolt scar to match.

Kyungsoo flails his hands in the air, right fist gripped tightly around a soft, foam toy in the shape of a wand.

“Oh, trying out spells I see?” says Minseok before adjusting his own Slytherin robes. He takes his Elder wand into his hand—the one he purchased from their trip to Universal Studios—and begins twirling it around as well. “Expelli—”

“Oh my God,” comes a voice from the doorway, and Minseok instantly whips around, wand still in the air like he’s actually trying to produce magic. “I finally got blackmail material on camera,” says Luhan, laughing behind his hand while the other still records Minseok.

“Hey!” Minseok lunges towards his husband, a blush creeping up from being caught in his fanboy moment. “Delete that, Luhan!”

“Yeah right,” giggles Luhan, holding the camera above Minseok’s reach as the shorter male tries desperately to grab for it. “You showed your dad all those videos of me dying on the rides. This is nothing compared to that.”

“Luhan,” whines Minseok, stopping in his attempt to snatch the camera and instead settles for pouting at the other male.

“You, my darling Potterhead,” says Luhan shutting off the camera and reaching forward to plant a kiss on the pouty lips, “Are never going to live this down,” he says, placing another kiss before cackling like a madman.

“Fine, be like that,” sighs Minseok. “But don’t come running to me when…” Minseok leans in close to whisper, “Little Luhan feels neglected.”

Luhan gasps in shock. “Hey, you can’t reverse blackmail me! Especially with .”

“I have the power and I’m not afraid to use it,” shrugs Minseok, trying his best to fight back a grin.

Luhan leans forward to whisper into his husband’s ear. “If the kids weren’t about to go Trick-or-Treating right now, I would make you eat your words.”

A shiver runs down Minseok’s spine, but before he can lean in to place a sizzling kiss on Luhan’s lips, Sehun comes barging into the room, decked out in his Halloween costume.

“Daddy, guess what I am?” he asks Minseok, tugging at his straw hat excitedly.

“Hmm, let me guess, a monkey?” says Minseok, chuckling when Sehun frowns.

“No, I’m Monkey D. Luffy!” Sehun opens his red shirt wide to bare his chest with an X-mark across the front. “The greatest pirate in the world!”

“Ohhh, you’re that Monkey!” Minseok and Luhan share a laugh as Sehun whines about how his daddy can never seem to figure out the difference between the two Monkeys.

A loud “Da!” from Kyungsoo attracts their attention, and Minseok finally decides it’s time for them to embark on their candy-collecting adventure.

“Okay, so I’ll take them out around the neighborhood,” he says, gathering his thoughts. “Luhan, you stay and hand out the candies, and then we’ll go over to Kris and Yixing’s place for dinner. Sounds like a plan?”

“You forgot one thing,” says Luhan as Minseok is putting on his black shoes.

“What?”

“Rounds 1, 2, and 3,” he replies with a smirk. “My treats.”

Minseok rolls his eyes as he stands up, adjusting Kyungsoo in his hold before smacking Luhan on the shoulder. “You ert.”

“Yes, but I am your ert.”

Minseok reaches forward and plants a smacking kiss on his husband’s lips. “Yes, you are.”

“Ew, daddy. Can we go now?” says Sehun, covering his reddening face with his straw hat.

“Alohomora!” says Minseok, twirling his wand at the front door before pushing it open with his foot.

Luhan simply laughs at his antics.
