When Chanyeol came over to Yoona's house to pick her up for his first gig, he didn't expect her to firstly tell him to return the car so they could walk. She said it was plainly because she wanted to enjoy the cool afternoon breeze and the scent of freshly baked cakes from the streets but Chanyeol knew better that her words were nothing but a disguise. He hadn't had the courage to ask her why she would always avoid the possibility of entering a car but there was no doubt that he was planning to.

Today marked a special day for Chanyeol and hopefully, the girl would think so as well. In a few more hours, things between them are going to change. Depending on how he does it, it may end up either just plain perfect or a complete and utter disaster. The song he secretly wrote was prepared and created with his whole heart. For some writers, songs are simply written with their imaginations that are soon turned into melodies of fiction, but to him every single word was real. Chanyeol could only hope that the message be sends through the lyrics will be able to reach her heart safely.

As they both entered the venue, Yoona didn't expect the atmosphere to be nice and relaxing. The club she had in mind wasn't like the clubs she's visited in her past. It wasn't full of girls with minim attires, boys with big jugs of alcohol and couples having public in each corner of the room. Although she did smell light traces of alcohol in the air, it was surprising how it didn't bother her mind at all. With the boy walking beside her constantly telling her stories about his favorite baseball player, the thought of Youngji never once crossed her mind.

He walked her into a small hall that had fancy wooden doors on each side. She couldn't help but wonder what was behind the thick layer of wood. There was still a possibility that they were private rooms for couples to do their things but when Chanyeol opened one of the rooms at the far end, her assumptions almost immediately changed.

The room was almost like a dressing room. It had bright yellow lights that had a Broadway feel illuminating the territory. Black and white leather couches that looked much better than the the bed she had at home. A 32-inch wall built plasma TV, dressing table, and a few red and gold curtains that polished the whole theme up. Yoona felt a light smile curl up on the corner of her lips as she thought the owner of this club sure had good taste.

"Noona!" Sehun greeted excitedly as he placed down his phone to run up and hug her.

Feeling slightly taken aback and awkward with his sudden gesture, Yoona only replied with a soft pat on his back. Luckily, Chanyeol noticed her uncomfortable expression and quickly pulled Sehun away.

"Sehun, where are the others?" Chanyeol asked when he noticed that his junior was all alone before they came along.

Sehun sighed and looked away, "They went out to find some hot chocolate. The ladies can't drink alcohol and then our stupid drummer friend somehow tagged along."

Chanyeol arched a brow, "You didn't go with them?"

"Nah, I was waiting for you guys."

A proud smile crawled up on Chanyeol's face before he walked up and ruffled the younger's hair. At the recent gesture, he received a soft punch on the arm but Chanyeol only decided to calmly laugh it off. He lead Yoona towards the couch and sat her down before settling himself down beside her.

"When are you up?" Yoona questioned, leaning her back against the cushions.

To be honest, Chanyeol couldn't quite remember. He was only told that they should be at the venue at late afternoon, so late afternoon was exactly when he arrived. He moved his eyes towards Sehun for help. Fortunately, Sehun quickly caught the message.

"We're up in about," Sehun raised his arm and slightly rolled up his sleeves to check his watch, "30 min--"

"Hyung!"

"Dorky!"

"Yeolie!"

When the loud voices rang in their ears, all their attentions were averted to the door. A boy who was holding two paper bags and two beautiful and bubbly looking girls skipped in with evident smiles on their faces. Chanyeol and Yoona sat up from their seats as the three others gave him a hug one by one. Yoona's hands were joined together at her front as she watched the scene with a smile while waiting for herself to be introduced.

"Is she--" the girl with the medium length gold-ish brown hair was cut off when a hand was placed over .

The blonde haired girl that stopped her from speaking shot her friend a glare. Her gaze instantly changed into a friendly eye-smile when she turned her head towards Yoona. However, it quickly changed into an impatient expression when she averted her gaze towards the towering boy in front of her.

"Aren't you going to introduce me, dork?"

"Oh right," Chanyeol cleared his throat and stood in between Yoona and the two other girls. "Yoona, this Kim Taeyeon and Jung Eunji. Noona and Eunji, this is Choi Yoona."

Yoona intended to bow but when she was about to bend down, she was slightly surprised when a few arms wrapped around her, pulling her up before she landed inside two girls' arms. 
Thankfully after that, they pulled away and stood in front of her with bright and cheerful faces. "Unnie, it's finally good to meet you," Eunji giggled.

Taeyeon nodded "We've heard a lot about you."

Yoona couldn't help but slightly raise her eyebrows at her words, "You have?"

"Well of course!" Eunji exclaimed, "Chanyeol--"

"Okaaayy, moving on," Chanyeol cut her off before an awkward laugh escaped his lips. With the way people kept covering Eunji's mouths with their hands whenever she was about to speak, Yoona became slightly amused.

Chanyeol took Yoona's hand and brought her to the dressing table. The boy that came in earlier with Eunji and Taeyeon was currently applying a soft layer of make-up on his face. Not that it was a bad thing but she could've sworn that the way he was wearing make-up seemed like he was already a big, filthy rich, famous artist.

"Seungcheol-ah, I want to introduce someone."

The boy that's name was proven to be Seungcheol, turned his head before abruptly standing up straight. He brushed off his jeans before bowing at a proper angle. Wanting to leave a good impression, Yoona bowed back.

"Seungcheol, Choi Yoona. Yoona, Choi Seungcheol."

Seungcheol raised his eyebrows in amusement, "We've got the same family name!"

"Yeah," Yoona chuckled softly as she tucked away a strand of hair behind her ears. She slightly flinched when Chanyeol nudged her arm. When she looked up at the boy, she saw that he was sending her a questioning glare and so Yoona only replied with an innocent shrug.

After the small introduction, they went back to the couch where Sehun was currently playing a game on his phone. They plopped down causing the latter to slightly move away in irritation and to avoid having his concentration pulled away. Chanyeol and Yoona looked at him before shaking their heads amusingly.

"How old is he again?" Yoona asked in a faint whisper.

Chanyeol brought his head up to the ceiling and chuckled softly, "He's 16."

"How about you?"

"18."

"Wait, what?" Yoona sat up properly and raised her eyebrows in surprise, "Your the same age as our seniors."

Chanyeol cocked a brow amusingly, "Does it matter?"

"Well, no.." Yoona bit her lip and looked away, "It's just that--"

A tender smile grew upon Chanyeol's face as he looked at her in the eyes, "It's a long story. But anyway, when's your birthday?"

"February, the ninth. You?"

"November the 27th."

Yoona started doing calculations in her head and when she finally found the results, her jaw immediately dropped.

"You should be graduating this year!"

A loud thud against the leather made both Yoona and Chanyeol slightly jump in shock. It was then continued with Sehun's loud growl, "Will you shut up?!"

"Oh Sehun! Language," it turns out they weren't the only people who were taken aback by Sehun's sudden outburst when Taeyeon's voice came ringing into their ears.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before looking back at Yoona and Chanyeol. "Please. I'm just trying to play a game," Sehun uttered in between gritted teeth.

"Alright, sorry man."

He nodded once before returning back to his game.

Although she wasn't quite sure, Yoona felt as if Chanyeol was feeling anxious. From the way he kept tapping his feet against the floor, the way he was gnawing at his bottom lip to the way he would constantly look at the clock above them slightly brought questions to appear inside her head. It was only when Chanyeol took out his phone to check nothing in particular did the closest possibility to his weariness enter her thoughts.

"Didn't you say Baekhyun played in your band too?" Yoona asked when she finally realized that there was still someone missing.

"Um, yeah," Chanyeol averted his gaze to his front as he started rubbing his nape nervously, "He said he's just got something to take care of but I'm sure he'll be here in a few minutes."

Although Yoona started to wonder what happened with Baekhyun to the point Chanyeol had trouble explaining it to her, she decided not to think about it considering how it isn't any of her business. She pursed her lips, and nodded as she looked away.
