The school was gathered in the auditorium for the news about their school president transferring. With that, it means that Hyundai High School will be searching for a new school president to take over Sungkyu's place. The principle already had a few names in her list and so when they heard that Suho was going to be a candidate, none of the students were surprised. Although something that did surprise them was when they saw their school's clown, Kim Taehyung standing up on the stage beside the other candidates, Suho and Hanbin. Everyone guessed that Taehyung probably decided to nominate himself.

When the familiar voice heard from the classroom speakers told them to gather to the auditorium, Chanyeol didn't wait for the teachers signal to stand up from his seat and go to wait for Yoona outside her classroom. Yoona on the other hand, didn't bother finding any more excuses but rather she decided to casually walk with him side by side. They both felt like after the night Chanyeol sneaked into Yoona's house, they started growing closer. She felt more comfortable and more at ease. After rethinking about it a few times, she figured that she should be grateful for still having someone by her side whenever she's at school.

"As all of you may know, our previous school president Kim Sungkyu has earned himself a scholarship to not just a prestigious school in our country but all the way to Europe. So by all means, with Kim Sungkyu's departure, our school cannot proceed without having someone take his place as our school president."

Everyone listened quietly as they watched the principle's right hand lady give out the announcement.

"The School and Student Council have all decided that we will hold an election while we're still in the first few months of the new school year. The election will go as normal. There will still be campaigns although we will not hold such things as bazaars and fairs." At the last information, a few groans were heard from around the room. The only fun thing about school campaigns was the bazaar where students were free from studying for a whole day.

Mrs. Song took a few steps back towards the three students that were standing in a straight line, "These young men here, Kim Taehyung, Kim Junmyeon and Kim Hanbin will be fighting for the position as our next school president. The campaign will be starting after they give out their speeches which will be held tomorrow morning and the results will be announced 3 weeks prior to the day. That's all for now. You may all proceed back to your classes."

Because everyone wanted to get out of the auditorium first, a huge crowd of students was slowly forming near the exit and the silent mutters were unsurprisingly turning wild. Chanyeol caught sight of the girl beside him biting onto her lip in worry. He took her wrist, catching her by surprise and decided to bring her to the wall and wait until the crowd dies down.

"Who are you going to vote for?" He asked as he leaned onto the wall behind him.

"I'm not sure. They haven't even gave their speeches yet," she brought her eyes up to meet his, "How about you?"

Chanyeol heaved a breath and narrowed his eyes as he thought, "Maybe Suho hyung? I mean, yeah he's the only one I know out of the three but trust me, Suho hyung is like the best. I'm not lying."

"I guess so," Yoona shrugged. "It's kind of weird how Taehyung was allowed to nominate himself."

"What so bad about Taehyung?"

"He's kind of.." Yoona thought for a second to search for the right words to describe him, "weird."

Chanyeol chuckled, "I'm weird. Does that mean you won't vote for me if I nominated myself?"

"Your weird is different. It's not weird weird, but it's kind of a cute weird." She suddenly felt her cheeks reddening when she witnessed a smirk slowly forming upon Chanyeol's lips. She shook her head nervously and looked away. "Sorry, what am I saying?"

"No, no.. It's cool. It means I'm cute, just like you."

"Oh please, no." Yoona cringed. She quickly walked away when she saw that she had a chance to leave before Chanyeol could get an opportunity to more about her fresh tomato face.

Yoona could hear Chanyeol's joyful laugh even when she was already a few steps away. She didn't want to deny how happy she felt just by hearing his voice and so the smile that had been tugging at the corner of her lips for a long time was finally set free. It wasn't long until Chanyeol caught up and was already walking right beside her. She was slightly taken aback when he slung his arm over her shoulders before pulling her closer. Yoona had to admit that even the weight of his arm was heavy but regardless of that, she had no intentions at all to remove it.

After saying to Yoona to wait for him before going home, Chanyeol joined Baekhyun to return back to his class. Through that short lapse of time, something strange caught Yoona's eye. She hoped she was only seeing things when she saw Dahyun glaring at Baekhyun from the corner of her eyes. Yoona tried not to think too much about it and so she went back inside her classroom to continue the subject she left off. However, when she saw Seulgi going near a tear eyed Dahyun, she couldn't help but wonder what had happened between the two.

Yoona did just as she promised. It didn't take long after the bell for Chanyeol to appear right outside her classroom door with a soft smile playing childishly upon his lips. He looked much more casual than usual but Yoona couldn't deny that he still looked just as good. It kind of caught her attention how just a few hours ago his hair was pushed back but now he had it completely down and covering his eyes slightly. Chanyeol shifted his weight to one side as he slung his bag on his left shoulder. Yoona took her bag before slowly closing their perimeters.

"Why do you always wear a jacket? Isn't it kind of hot?" Chanyeol asked as they reached the bottom of the stairs.

Yoona stiffened for a moment at the question. She remembered that Chanyeol didn't know anything about what was hidden behind the thin layer of fabric on her arm. He wasn't ready to know anything about it yet. No, truthfully, she was the one who wasn't ready to tell him.

"I think the weather's kind of cold," Yoona shrugged, pretending as if her words didn't hold anything else.

Chanyeol looked down at her amusingly, "You're weird," he teased.

The only thing Yoona could do at that time was pretend to laugh. She could only hope that Chanyeol didn't sense anything else. She felt the weight on her shoulders slowly disappear when she noticed that Chanyeol didn't seem to suspect anything. He casually walked beside her with his gaze directed up front. A few minutes later, Chanyeol cleared his throat before bringing up a topic.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. We're having our first gig at a club next Saturday."

"Oh," Yoona breathed out.

A frown appeared on Chanyeol's face, "You don't seem exited."

"No, no, that's not what I meant," Yoona corrected him nervously.

"So you'll come?"

She pursed her lips, "I'm not sure."

Chanyeol suddenly stopped in his tracks. When Yoona noticed that the boy was no longer beside her, she stopped before looking back. There was a clearly visible pout playing upon his lips. She heaved a sigh before hopelessly walking back to him.

"You promised," he whined.

Yoona bit her bottom lip. From the first time he offered her up on her roof she really did want to see him and his band play, but the image of a big crowd of people in one room brought her to to rethink the whole situation.

"Chanyeol, if it's at a club you'll be with your friends," she looked away, "And I don't even have any friends to begin with."

"Oh come on, I'll be with you the whole time. Just not when I play cause you'll be watching me up on stage," he pleaded. "It's not a night club anyway, it's just a place for people like us to hang out."

Yoona bit her lip and looked away. Chanyeol spotted the uneasy look in her eyes and that was when he finally knew what to say.

"I'll introduce you to my friends," he mused. "I really want to show you something so please, can you come?"

Yoona carefully looked up at the boy. Thoughts were running inside her head and she didn't know how to make them stop. The whole time they were talking, Yoona kept trying to avoid Chanyeol's gaze although he kept trying to look straight into hers. When she finally locked eyes with him, it was enough to get her to say yes.

Yoona sighed, "Fine."

Chanyeol's adorable cheshire grin immediately appeared on his face. To hide her growing blush, Yoona started walking again and the boy that was left behind kept calling out her name to tell her to wait for him.

It wasn't long until they reach the front gate of Yoona's house. Just like usual, Chanyeol would ruffle her hair before telling her to go inside. Even though they're not considered as a couple, no one can deny how close they have become. Yoona loved having Chanyeol's presence and Chanyeol loved having hers.

Just before she could say goodbye, Chanyeol was quicker to open his mouth.

"Wanna come with me and my friends to work on Suho hyung's campaign tomorrow?"

Yoona bit her lip, "I'm not sure. Your friends don't exactly like me."

Chanyeol let out a desperate groan. "Stop saying that. They just don't know you that well."

"Same goes for you."

"Yeah well even though I've only known you for a few weeks, it's enough for me to know that you're a good person. Nuff said."

Yoona perked up to notice that there was a small pout plastered on Chanyeol's face. She couldn't help but smile slightly at the giant baby in front of her. After thinking about it again, she thought that she should at least give it a try for him.

"Who's going?"

"I don't know," Chanyeol shrugged. "Maybe me and the guys and their girlfriends, I guess."
