Chen groaned as he walked down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Chanyeol passed him to enter the kitchen. “Don’t you think you guys were a little harsh?” He complained as the giant started to laugh. They both walked into the kitchen. “Nope.” In the kitchen, less than half the members were there. D.O was cooking, Suho was leaning on the table talking to Lay, who was blinking a lot, trying to stay awake and Kai was sitting, his head in his arms, probably taking a nap. Suho looked up at Chen with no specific expression. Lay took this opportunity to rest his eyes. The two stared into each other’s eyes until they heard a thud. It was Lay, his head fell on the table. They heard his soft snores and Suho sighed. “Yah, Kyungsoo-ah! What’s for breakfast?” Chen asked. “The usual.” He replied monotonously. “I wanted soup…” Chen complained. “No.” He said plainly. “You are being punished.” Chen looked up in surprise. “Punish? You’re punishing your hyung?” Chen sounded like he was about to scold him if he didn’t continue. “We’re all punishing you.” He deadpanned. Chen crossed his arms and pouted like a child. “Wasn’t yesterday enough of a punishment!?” Kyungsoo shook his head. “I’m still hurting…” He whined. “Well. I’m sorry. But, that’s not how I like to punish.” Chen stomped his foot in anger and left.

Sehun came down and saw Chen sitting on the couch. “Yah, are you okay?” Chen glared at the younger boy. “What? Are you still upset?” He wouldn’t stop glaring so Sehun sighed. “The hyungs refuse to give it back, I’m sorry.” Chen shook his head. “It’s not because of that…” Sehun eyed him curiously but, their silence was interrupted by some members who were coming down the stairs loudly. “Kyungsoo-ahhh! I’m hungry~!” They heard Xiumin call out. Sehun looked at Chen who still looked upset. “What is it, hyung?” Sehun whispered. Chen shook his head. Soon, they heard Kyungsoo calling them for breakfast. And in the same

Breakfast was ordinarily awkward. But, today was different. The awkwardness seemed to be coming from Chen. Some of the members were eyeing him intently. He looked extremely nervous. Sehun felt bad. Even though he was also mad at him for interrupting their sleep with music, he didn’t punish him like most of their members. Some actually hit him last night. Others agreed to confiscate his phone and other belongings. Others were still planning how to punish him. Suddenly steps were heard and Chen visibly flinched. The only member who still wasn’t up was Kris. He was the harshest. When he entered the kitchen, all the heads turned. He nodded in satisfaction and took his seat. Sehun kept looking at Chen throughout all of breakfast. Chen kept glancing at Kris. The latter just ate his breakfast as he normally would. Sehun’s behavior started to get obvious. He felt a nudge on his arm. It was Kai. “What’s up?” He whispered. He noticed Sehun’s weird behavior. He shook his head, eyes still on Chen. After a while, he realized nothing was going to happen.

Sehun looked straight ahead and realized Luhan was sitting across from him. He also noticed that he was looking at him. Sehun blushed thinking about that. He then cursed himself for not noticing sooner. He could have spent the whole time staring at Luhan instead of Chen but, of course he had to be the idiot he was. Noticing Sehun's blush, Kai smiled since he understood. The rest of breakfast was still pretty awkward.

Chen and Sehun were sitting on the couch watching Xiumin play a video game with Chanyeol. "When will I get a turn?" Chen asked trying to sound polite. "You're not getting a turn." Xiumin said plainly. "I'm so~ bored!" He whined. Xiumin just shrugged. "You should have thought about that when you played music in the middle of the night. I mean you could have put in earphones or played it on a quiet volume. But, of course, as always, you're unlucky." Chen sighed. "I've never played this before!" Chanyeol yelled excitedly. "That's cuz you don't like video games." Chen muttered under his breath. Sehun heard him and chuckled. "Well, now you can play whenever you want." They both smiled while Chen was glaring at them. Sehun wanted to feel bad for Chen but, the whole ordeal just seemed too funny, he laughed at Chen’s misfortune.

Suho walked down the stairs and stopped by the couch. "Hey, what's playing here?" He asked already knowing the answer. He watched the two play the game with interest in his eyes. "Chanyeol, I had no idea that you were so good at these games!" Chanyeol laughed at that. "Me neither. I should have tried this a long time ago!" He was now jumping up and down. Suho laughed at his behavior until he noticed Chen. "We're going to the amusement park tomorrow." Chen jumped to face him. "Jjinjja!? We haven't been to one since last year when we went to Disney land!" It was his turn to jump up and down. "Who said you're going?" Suho asked him with a cocked eyebrow. Chen's smile immediately disappeared. "Huh? W...what do you mean?" Suho crossed his arms. "Don't forget. You're still being punished." Chen's mouth is wide open now. Just staring, unable to say or do anything. This was the. Cruelest. Thing. Anyone could ever do. Suho seemed to want a response though. So Chen shut his mouth, preparing to say something. "But..." Suho eyed him, waiting patiently. "That's not fair!! This is equivalent to telling Sehun-ah that there will be bubble tea and then not letting him have any!" He almost yelled. "And I bet you're going to drink all of the boba right In front of me..." Suho looked at him a bit confused. Sehun had been looking at him with an offended look. "You're going to take pictures and videos and post them everywhere on the Internet and fans who saw you will talk about it forever! I mean they already still talk about Disney land even though it's been almost a year. Only this will be worse! They'll talk about how Chen was the only one who wasn't there, and they'll wonder why...then they'll come to the conclusion that he doesn't like amusement parks! But I love them I really do!" He says as he grabs his phone and immediately writes a post stating his love for such things. While writing, he looked up and realized Suho had left. He sighed and sat back down. "I bet he chose to go to the amusement park because he knows I love it so much." Sehun thought everything was funny until he was mentioned. He really thought about what it meant. ‘Telling Sehun-ah there will be bubble tea and then not letting him have any...’ That would he thought. So, he'll help his hyung out. “If it helps, I won’t go to the park and I’ll stay here with hyung.” He told him. Chen looked at him. “Why would you do that? It won’t make a difference for me. So just go.” He said flatly without bothering to lift his head. Sehun shook his head. “You’ll be lonely by yourself.” Chen was about to say something but just then, Luhan came towards them. “Ah, Minnie! I knew you’d be here!” Xiumin looked up to find the source of the lovely sound. “Wanna hang out tomorrow? I’m totally free~!” Sehun’s mood fell. “Sure, Luhan.” Was all the boy could say while he was pretending to be endorsed in the video game. “Oh, Sehun’s here too? Hi!” Said Luhan when he noticed the younger. Sehun put on a smile “Hi, hyung!”  Luhan smiled at Sehun for a while and Xiumin stared at him causing him to not pay attention to his game. He stopped staring when Chanyeol was heard yelling “Yes! Finally! I beat you!” Luhan then checked his phone after a beeping was heard. “Ah. Excuse me, I have to answer.” He said before walking into the kitchen. As soon as he left, Sehun cupped his face. “I hope he didn’t notice…” He whispered to himself. Chen looked up to him. “Did you say something?” Sehun removed his hands and shook his head. “Hmm…Your face is red…” He noted. Sehun laughed nervously. “Ah…Haha…Ha…Is it? I wonder why…Hahaha!” Chen furrowed his brows. Sehun’s eyes turned towards Xiumin a bit whose head immediately turned back towards the TV screen. It was fast but Sehun managed to catch the older’s expression. His hyung looked infuriated. “Okay, I’m back.” Luhan chimed. Both boys turned their heads as soon as they heard him. They shared identical smiles as they watched the boy take a seat between Chen and Xiumin. Sehun motioned with his hand to tell Chen to switch places with him. Chen sneaked over to the other side, next to Chanyeol, took Xiumin’s controller and started playing. The older didn’t notice since he was too busy staring at someone. Sehun was doing the same thing. And so, the rest of the time was spent With Chen and Chanyeol playing the game and Luhan watching them and Sehun and Xiumin watching Luhan.

 “Amusement Park! Amusement Park! Amusement Park!” Baekhyun has been yapping all morning. The only person who wasn’t annoyed was Chanyeol. In fact, he laughed whenever another member would groan or yell at Baekhyun telling him to shut up. “Okay, I need to know who’s going.” Suho said to everyone who was in the kitchen. “I’m going to the Amusement Park!” Baekhyun yelled. As what has been happening earlier, everyone would groan and Chanyeol would laugh. Suho asked them to raise their hands. “Okay so, me, Kyungsoo, Kai, Tao, Baekhyun and Chanyeol. Xiumin, Luhan, you two don’t want to go?” They shook their heads. “Okay, so Sehun, Lay and Kris are upstairs. Can someone go confirm with them?” Kai volunteered and went upstairs.

“Sehun-ah?” Kai called out while knocking on the other’s door. When Sehun opened the door, Kai was a bit shocked because he only had his boxers on. But shrugged it off immediately after as he entered the room. “You going to the Amusement Park?” He asked closing the door behind him. “Nope.” Sehun answered as he was getting dressed. “Why not? Don’t you like Amusement Parks?” He cocked his eyebrow. “Yeah…But, poor Chen, you know?” He was done now and was getting his phone and walking towards the door. “What do you mean?” Kai asked as he followed Sehun out and into the bathroom. “Suho said as punishment, Chen won’t go. So, I’m staying with him.” He said while fiddling to look for something. “He can’t mean that. Amusement Parks are Chen’s love! It’s like….Like…You and Bubble tea!” Sehun furrowed his brows. “That’s exactly why I’m staying with him.” He said sounding slightly offended. Suddenly Sehun groaned. “What is it?” Kai asked. “I can’t find the hair brush.” Kai thought for a moment. “Probably with Kris hyung.” He went out, heading for Kris’ room. He knocked and waited patiently. After a while he knocked again. After yet again, getting no answer he went back to the bathroom. “I think he’s still sleeping.” They heard someone come up the stairs. They saw Baekhyun and Chanyeol walking towards their room. “Oh hey.” Said Chanyeol. “Is Sehun coming?” Kai shook his head. “Actually I haven’t asked Kris hyung yet. A little help…, ‘Kris Whisperer’?” They both laughed and nodded. Baekhyun went inside Kris’ room and closed the door behind him. He came out a moment later together with Kris, who looked calm. “We’ll never know his secret…” Kai whispered jokingly to Sehun who giggled. “Kris hyung! Do you want to go to the Amusement park today?” Kai asked him. After a while of what seemed like thinking, he nodded. “Sure. Sounds like fun.” A rare smile showed on his face. Only Baekhyun could make such a smile appear. Hence ‘Kris Whisperer’ became his nickname. “Anyway, is the hair brush in your room?” Sehun asked. Kris nodded. He went back inside and came back with it in his hand. Sehun proceeded to fix his hair. Kai was on his way to Lay’s room but halted when he heard more steps on the stairs. It was Suho. “Hey, Kai. Are they coming?” He asked while walking towards him. “I still need to ask Lay hyung.” Suho nodded and knocked on Lay’s door. After a few seconds, the door opened. It was Chen. “Yes?” He asked looking upset. “Is Lay in?” Suho asked. Chen just nodded before opening the door wider and walking towards his bed. Lay was laying on his bed, using his phone. When he noticed them, he sat up. “Hey Lay.” He called. “You want to go to the Amusement Park?” Lay nodded. “Sure? When are we leaving?” He asked checking his phone for the time. “In like 2-3 hours.” Right when Suho said that, Lay widened his eyes and ran towards the bathroom. “You should have told me sooner!” He yelled just before leaving the room. Suho glanced towards Chen and noticed the expression on the younger’s face. “What are you doing?” Suho asked. Chen narrowed his eyes at him. “You should be getting ready.” He said nonchalantly. Chen cocked his eyebrow. “What?” Suho shook his head. “Pabo…Aren’t you coming with us?” Chen widened his eyes. “What do you mean? You said…” Suho interrupted him. “It was a lie. Of course I was mad with you, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. I know how much you love Amusement Parks.” Chen’s shocked expression slowly turned into a smile. He went to Suho and hugged him. “You don’t have to…” Suho started but soon gave up and hugged him back. Kai decided to let Sehun know about the change. He went downstairs looking for him. He entered the kitchen and saw him conversing with Luhan. The blush on Sehun’s face was so evident that Kai was beginning to think Luhan was blind. “Sehun-ah!” Kai called on his way over. “Yes, Kai?” Sehun answered, his blush remaining. “It seems Chen is going after all.” Sehun thought for a little and was about to say something but Luhan beat him to it. “That’s okay, Sehunnie, wanna hang out with us?” Luhan said warmly. Kai noticed Xiumin’s dark expression. “Is that really okay?” Luhan laughed. “Of course, why wouldn’t it be? We are friends, aren’t we?” Sehun smiled. His blush deepened. Kai was sure now, Luhan is definitely blind.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun were holding hands and walking around the Park now. In Baekhyun’s other hand was a cotton candy courtesy of Chanyeol. While walking and chatting they heard someone call out: “Byun Baekhyun?” When they turned their heads, Baekhyun recognized them as his friends. “Oh, hi guys!” He called out happily. “What are you doing holding hands with a boy?” One of them said when they got closer. Baekhyun immediately retracted his hand at his remark. “We’re friends.” Chanyeol let them know with a smile. “You shouldn’t hold hands with a friend.”  He said with a serious look. “But—” Chanyeol was about to retort but Baekhyun interrupted him. “No, Chanyeol. He’s right; we’re friends, not lovers.” His friend smirked when he said that. “Say, Baek? Since we found each other, let’s hang out.” Baekhyun took a look at Chanyeol. “Is that okay with you?” His friend didn’t let him answer and answered for him. “Of course it’s okay, you guys hang out all the time since you live together. We don’t hang out often because of that.” Chanyeol nodded. “That is true.” The friend smirked again. “Okay.” Baekhyun went with the group of boys and Chanyeol decided to go look for someone else.

Chanyeol found Kai so easily; it’s as if he already knew where he was. And when he found him, Kai’s back facing him so; he decided to go in for a back hug. “Ah! Manager hyung!!” Kai screamed as soon as he was touched. Chanyeol, who was still hugging him, started laughed when he understood why Kai was screaming. “Wha…Chanyeol!?” Kai yelled when he turned around. He stopped hugging him and they were facing each other now. “I thought you were with Baekhyun. You’re not abandoning him, are you?” Chanyeol shook his head. “His friends were here so I let him hang out with them.” Kai sighed. “Well, I’m waiting for Kyungsoo. He refuses to take scary rides alone.” Chanyeol eyed the area. “I don’t understand, where is he?” Kai sighed again. “He was sure he was gonna need it, so he went to get a bunch of plastic bags.” Chanyeol shook his head. Suddenly they saw him running towards them. When he finally made it, he took a minute to breathe. “Sorry if I took too long. I ran all the way over and back.” Kai shook his head. “No, it’s okay. Also, Chanyeol will be taking the rides with us.” Kyungsoo smiled. “Thank you, Chanyeol!” Kyungsoo seemed to have thought that he was taking them because he knows Kyungsoo is afraid. They both just smiled and nodded, seeing no reason to tell him otherwise.

A hand slapped Baekhyun’s face, leaving a red mark. “Pabo! How will we look if our friend is acting like a gay!?” They were in the washroom now and his friend was yelling at him. “I’m sorry…” Baekhyun apologized with his head down, trying his best to hold back tears. “Don’t do it again.” He said firmly. Baekhyun nodded. “I won’t.” The boy nodded and they all headed out.

“Let’s go on the spinning ride!” Baekhyun suddenly felt his intestines prepare themselves for what was about to happen. He dreaded spinning rides for they made him puke. But, his friends liked it so, he didn’t want to say anything. When they came out, Baekhyun was a little pale, he ran towards a garbage can when he spotted it and puked until he felt a hand on his shoulder. “You okay?” Baekhyun nodded. “You should’ve said something, if you didn’t want to ride that.” He told him and Baekhyun just nodded. The rest of the group came towards them. “Hey, Shortie! What are you doing running away from us!? How do you think that makes us look?” The same one from before started yelling. “Sorry…” Baekhyun started but the one who was with him first interrupted him. “Yah, Minwoo! He was puking. Go easy on him.” The one called Minwoo just looked at the one who was talking. Then he looked at Baekhyun. “Sorry. You should’ve said something. Then, we wouldn’t have gone on it.” Baekhyun shook his head. “No, you really like spinning rides. So I can’t keep you from it!” Baekhyun retorted. Minwoo scoffed. “Why are you so nice?” He said playfully smacking the younger’s head, earning a laugh. “Besides, we can still take it; you’ll just have to wait for us!” He said with a wink. Baekhyun giggled again. “Anyway, what ride do you want to take?” Baekhyun pondered for a moment. “How about the roller coaster? The one here is really long!” Minwoo smiled. “Let’s go.” They all followed.
