"I'm meeting my friends today."

"I'm coming too."

Baekhyun nodded to the boy who was sitting perpendicularly to him. "I'll just let them know. They don't mind." Chanyeol hummed a response. "We're going to the park, by the way. The central one." Baekhyun told him. "It's a long walk." Chanyeol noticed. "You know the best part?" Baekhyun said with a smirk. Chanyeol looked at him. "Not a lot of people go on that street, we can hold hands if you want." Chanyeol smiled at that. 

Kai was sitting on the table, waiting for Kyungsoo to return. Suho was busy so, he couldn't be with him either. He just sat and waited, with nothing to do. Actually, there were lots of things Kai could do; he just didn't want to do them. He's been sitting in the kitchen for probably an hour. He doesn't know, he hasn't looked at the clock since coming down here. "Where's Kyungsoo hyung?" Sehun suddenly asked. Kai turned around and saw him walking towards the fridge. He opened the door and frowned. Kai had completely forgotten that the boy had even said anything. He suddenly turned around and cocked an eyebrow. "Yah." He called out. Kai shook his head, in order to focus. "Where's Kyungsoo hyung?" Sehun repeated. "Ah. Out." Kai answered. "He is out." Kai repeated for clearance. "Okay." Sehun replied before preparing to leave. He was almost out the door; he only stopped when Kai called him. He turned his head, waiting for whatever it is Kai wanted. "Can...can you come here?" Kai asked, with his back still turned to Sehun. He sounded embarrassed and he was. "I don't have time for this." Sehun said before turning to leave again. "Please." Kai stopped him. Sehun looked at his back again. "It's important..." Kai told him, hoping he'd come. Reluctantly, Sehun agreed. He went over to the table and sat across from Kai. "What?" Sehun wondered. Kai slowly raised his head, hoping he wasn't as red as he thought. Sehun raised his eyebrow when he saw Kai's face. "Why do you hate me?" Kai finally asked him. "I don't hate you." Sehun answered. He stood up to leave. "Then why are you avoiding me?" Kai asked him, which caused him to sit down again. "Because you're always acting strange when I'm near you." Sehun said. "But, I hate it when you avoid me." Kai told him. "I'm sorry. I'll stop avoiding you." Sehun said. He waited a while, to see if Kai was going to say anything. He didn't and Sehun was about to leave again. "Can we..." Sehun sat back down as Kai raised his head. "Can we go back?" Kai shyly wondered, referring to their old friendship. "No." Sehun breathed. Kai slowly let his head down to hide his tears. He dropped it and it fell hard on the table. "Are you okay?" Sehun wondered after hearing the loud thud. Kai's shoulder started lightly shaking. "Are you crying?" Sehun asked. "No. I just...hit my head really hard." Kai lied as he raised his head a little. "Pabo..." Sehun replied. Kai started crying again, because he agrees. "That'll teach you not to make fun of me for falling off the stairs." Sehun semi-mocked him. Kai would have normally retorted more aggressively but, he didn't this time. Sehun noticed this. "Oh my god, are you actually hurt?" Sehun got up and went to Kai. "Should I call someone?" Sehun started panicking. Luckily, Suho came in. "What's going on here?" He wondered. "I think Kai is having a concussion!" Sehun yelped. "He hit his head really hard on the table!" Suho walked towards Kai to inspect him. He noticed Kai crying. "Kai?" The said boy shook his head. "I'm fine." Sehun sighed. "Is there anything else you want to ask?" Sehun wondered. Kai shook his head and Sehun left. "D.O should be here soon." Suho told him. Sure enough, Kyungsoo came a while later and Kai began explaining. "I guess it's good you decided to talk to him." Kyungsoo told him. "What good was it? He doesn't want to be my friend." Kai complained.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun were now walking hand in hand in a fairly empty street. There were a few people walking around but they wouldn't notice them. "I think I'm getting closer to your friends." Chanyeol told Baekhyun. "That's good." Baekhyun smiled. A little later and they were laughing. Their laughter got caught off by someone. "Byun Baekhyun?" They turned their heads to the source of the sound. There was a guy wearing a hoodie, in a shadowy alley. When they stopped and looked at him, he turned around and the bottom half of his face was visible. Few scars were evident. "Holding hands with your boyfriend?" The man mockingly said with a grimace. Suddenly, Baekhyun's face went pale as he knew exactly who this was. "Back to acting gay?" The guy scoffed. Baekhyun started sweating. Chanyeol felt it since they were still holding hands. He let go and noticed lots of sweat. "Baekhyun are you okay?" Chanyeol quietly checked. "Yes, of course. Check on him. You love him, don't you?" The boy continued to joke, his face was visible now. Chanyeol started to worry. "Please, stop." Chanyeol pleaded. "Oh, am I hurting you?" He asked with fake concern. "Faggots." He suddenly deadpanned with a scary looking face. Baekhyun was really scared now as tears were forming in his eyes. Chanyeol was really concerned and a little scared too. "Why are you like this?" Chanyeol asked the guy. "Why am I like this? Ask yourself this question. You changed him. Why would you do that? He was an okay person until you turned him gay." The boy accused. "W-what are you talking about?" Chanyeol wondered. "Oh. You don't know?" He smirked. "I'll tell you." He glanced at Baekhyun. "Please don't..." Baekhyun pleaded, voice barely over a whisper. Chanyeol then took a look at Baekhyun. "Why? I'm curious. I turned him gay?" He asked in disbelief. The guy nodded. Baekhyun was crying now. "I am Byun Baekhyun's first friend. We could've still been friends, if he didn't go and change. Want to know how he changed?" He asked, noticing, Baekhyun's unpleasant state. "He met you!" He yelled in Chanyeol's face. "He was a perfect boy. The last day he was normal was his first day in SME. He met you that first day. And after that, he's been wearing makeup and acting like a girl. He's been acting weird too. Around you, he acts like an idiot who thinks he's in love. You even hold hands. And the way you look at each other..." He said the last bit with a bit of disgust. "You're disgraces!" He yelled. "Yah!" Suddenly someone yelled. Minwoo came running straight towards them. "Oh look who's here. You gonna send me to the hospital again?" The guy joked, still annoyed from earlier. "Baekhyun are you okay? Did he touch you?" Minwoo questioned as he inspected the boy. Baekhyun was crying, trying to calm himself, but he managed to shake his head. Minwoo looked over and saw Chanyeol's wide eyes, staring into nothing. He looked broken. Minwoo guessed the enemy told him the secret. "Baekhyun, take Chanyeol and run to the park, the others are there." Minwoo informed him. Baekhyun nodded and grabbed Chanyeol's arms as he began running. They made it to the park and Baekhyun ran straight into Minhyuk's arms. Chanyeol sat on the bench they were in front of, expression still that of shocked. "Baek?" Minhyuk wondered, sensing something wrong. "You should go to Minwoo..." He was able to breathe. "He's fighting that guy..." They all widened their eyes and the other two started their run as Minhyuk put his hands on Baekhyun's shoulders. "Stay here." He informed before he began running too. Baekhyun sat next to Chanyeol. After a while, Baekhyun thought he was calm enough to check on Chanyeol. "Chanyeol?" He started easy. The other boy just sat there. Baekhyun tried again. He tried one more time before realizing it's not that he doesn't hear, he doesn't want to hear. He shook him a little. "I'm sorry." Baekhyun apologized. Chanyeol still wouldn't move. He must be really upset. Baekhyun looked ahead and saw the boys running over. "How'd it go?" He quietly wondered. "We were lucky." Minhyuk laughed. "You know how he's afraid of sharp stuff, right?" Baekhyun nodded. He remembered all the times they pranked him when they were younger; saying things like he had an appointment and had to get a shot would always scare him. "Dong-Il had a knife in his pocket! Can you believe it?" Minwoo laughed, patting the said boy's back. "What, why?" Baekhyun wondered. "Oh yeah, why?" Baekhyun's other friend wondered. "Oh. Before coming here, I was cutting a sandwich for my sister, I thought I put it in the sink, but I guess not." He told them and Baekhyun shook his head at his friend's irresponsibility. "How's he holding up?" Minwoo wondered about Chanyeol. "I don't know...he won't say anything." Baekhyun told them. "It must really bother him then." Minwoo noticed. "Yeah." Baekhyun agreed. "What did we come here to do?" Minwoo wondered after a few minutes of silence. "Nothing in particular. We just wanted to see Baekhyun again." Baekhyun's friend reminded him. Baekhyun glanced beside him and noticed Chanyeol looking down. He tried to comfort him by putting his hand on Chanyeol's. He smiled when Chanyeol looked up to meet his gaze. Unexpectedly, Chanyeol immediately retracted his hand. He looked angry for some reason. An embarrassed type of angry. "Wow..." Minwoo noticed. That's when they realized they were being watched. Minhyuk noticed the tension and got up with his arms in the air. "Let's do something! Let's..." He said, looking around. "Eat ice cream!" He said as he noticed an ice cream truck. They all agreed. Anything to get rid of the tension. They all bought an ice cream. Baekhyun had to buy one for Chanyeol since he wouldn't buy on his own. "So, Baek? What's new?" Minhyuk was the only one able to salvage awkward situations. He was arguably the most mature one, despite being the youngest. "Um, well..." Baekhyun thought long and well, there was nothing really new. "Our new song is coming soon." He settled with that. Minhyuk smiled. "Wow, cool. We can't wait to see it." He said, trying to brighten up the mood. It wasn't working; it was coming out as awkward since, the other members were pretty bad at acting. Baekhyun appreciated it though. "Chanyeol-ssi, how have you been?" Minhyuk decided to attack the cause of the silence now. "Fine." Baekhyun widened his eyes. He actually responded. He smiled at Minhyuk to let him know he did well. "We did bad; eating ice cream first." He joked. "We should’ve eaten food first." He pointed out, realizing no one has eaten yet. "What should we do now? Until our stomachs settle." Minwoo wondered. "Where's Jaehyo?" Baekhyun asked after failing to find the boy. They all looked around and recognized him, near the centre of the park, playing with some kids. "What's he doing over there?" They all decided to go to him. Luckily, Chanyeol could walk on his own. "Yah! What're you doing?" Minwoo asked when they were in shouting distance. "Leave those kids alone!" Baekhyun joked. Jaehyo laughed as he continued to do tricks with the ball. "This kid..." Minwoo jokingly complained when he wouldn't listen. "Exo?" One of the kids noticed. "Oh! Are you a fan?" Baekhyun asked. "No. My sister is. She'll hate me forever if I met you without her. Can I have a picture and autograph for her please?" Baekhyun smiled and agreed. The kid took a total of 4 pictures; one of Chanyeol and Baekhyun together, one both of them separately with the kid and one with all of them. They signed their respective photos with the kid and then wrote a message on the one with all three of them. Chanyeol smiled as if nothing was bothering him the whole time they were with the kids as to not raise any questions. "My sister will be happy now. Thank you!" The boy was very polite the whole time and they all appreciated that. They stayed there a while because Jaehyo still wanted to play with them and Chanyeol had to keep his smile on. The boys all ended up joining him. Baekhyun wanted to play too and he knew Chanyeol would on a normal day. Since, Chanyeol didn't want to play, Baekhyun decided to stay with him so that he's not alone. After over an hour, the kids said they had to go home. The group of boys decided it was time to go eat. Baekhyun felt bad for Chanyeol, he was upset and he probably wanted to go home right away after hearing what he did instead, he was being dragged around town. He didn't look as upset though. Maybe he was hiding it since they're in public? Baekhyun's thoughts were interrupted by his friends. "Let's go to a Japanese restaurant!" Minhyuk suggested. Baekhyun knew what he was doing. Baekhyun's friends know Chanyeol likes Japanese food because Baekhyun mentioned many times that they would always eat such things. He glanced at Chanyeol. He could tell he was probably happy under all that sad. They made it to their destination and ordered a table for six. They all sat and looked at the menu, wondering what they were going to eat. Baekhyun already knew what he wanted, he also knew what Chanyeol wanted. "How about you recommend something to us?" Minhyuk asked Chanyeol. Chanyeol simply pointed to an item on the menu. "This is my favorite." He told them. Minhyuk smiled and so did Baekhyun, happy with his improvement. They all ordered the same dish and happily ate. When they were all done, Baekhyun took a look on Chanyeol. His expression didn't change from earlier but Baekhyun hoped he was at least a little happier. Chanyeol has only been answering Minhyuk and Baekhyun wanted to talk to him too. So, he took the initiative this time. "Did you enjoy the food?" Baekhyun eagerly awaited Chanyeol's response. He hesitantly nodded. Baekhyun sighed, happy with just that. They left and they were on their way home now. Minwoo said he didn't want Baekhyun walking around at night so they're taking him and Chanyeol home first.

At the door, they wished them a good night and left. "Did you have fun?" Baekhyun asked Chanyeol, hoping to get a positive response, if not; a response at all. Unfortunately for Baekhyun, Chanyeol went upstairs and ignored him. He followed him to see what's up. He knew he was certainly still upset but he could've at least answered. Chanyeol went into the bathroom and locked the door. Soon after, Baekhyun heard the shower turn on. He sighed and went into their room. He was about to sit on Chanyeol's bed and then remembered something. Will he let him sleep on his bed? He hopes so, he doesn't want to sleep on his own bed and he definitely doesn't want to sleep downstairs. He is still afraid of the noises that come from the kitchen. He sat anyway and waited patiently for him to finish. When he eventually did, he came into the room. He was weirdly already dressed. When did he bring clothes in with him? Baekhyun wondered. He shrugged it off and curiously waited for what he was going to do next. Chanyeol stood in the middle of the room, staring at the floor. He carried a frown on his face. Baekhyun guessed he was contemplating. Truthfully, Chanyeol was waiting for Baekhyun to get off the bed. Chanyeol ended up waiting for almost five minutes. Baekhyun started to wonder if it had anything to do with him. "Chanyeol?" He called out. He must've been hallucinating Chanyeol this whole time, he didn't move at all. After being called, he finally moved. He went out and went downstairs. Baekhyun decided to stay; he didn't want to chase him down. He'll come around, hopefully. He did promise after all. A while later, Chanyeol did come back. Baekhyun had been entertaining himself with his phone. Chanyeol looked like he wanted to say something so, being the polite boy Baekhyun is, he put his phone down. "Please get off." Baekhyun was shocked. He wasn't expecting that at all. He got up and took Chanyeol's place in front of the bed. Chanyeol layed on his bed and covered himself under the blanket. "Won't you move over?" Baekhyun wondered, tilting his head to the side. "People should sleep in their own bed." He deadpanned. Baekhyun brought his eyebrows together. "You told me you'd never make me sleep anywhere else." He accused as he folded his arms. "I was wrong." Baekhyun couldn't believe what was being said. "No you weren't because I told you to." Baekhyun reminded him. "Then you were wrong." Chanyeol's tone was flat. He really meant what he said. Baekhyun was shocked. What was making him act like this? He glared at Chanyeol's head for a minute as if that would do anything. He gave up and went over to his bed. He uncomfortably layed on it. Similar to how one would lay on a hotel bed. Baekhyun thought he would never fall asleep. He stayed there and eventually heard Chanyeol's snores. Chanyeol snores? Baekhyun thought. Shouldn't Baekhyun have noticed something like that? He tried to think back to the times Chanyeol had fallen asleep before him: No...No, he doesn't snore. Baekhyun concluded. So, why is he snoring now? Baekhyun wouldn't normally focus on something like this, but this was his brain's way of distracting him. He ended up falling asleep in the middle of his deducting. 

So. um. Yeah. That's Baekhyun's story: His childhood friend bullies him for being gay even though he isn't. And remember the Amusement Park chapter? How Baekhyun's friends acted mean in public and then i started showing you their nice side? Basically, his friends love him a lot. But, they act cold to him because he's the easiest one to bully. And, what the guy said is true, he was Baek's first friend but he is homophobe. And ever since he started bullying him, Baekhyun's other friends started acting less caring in public and they helped him defend himself with him. So, you know how they were both in the hospital? That's cuz, he started really hurting him and when his friends found them, they started hitting the guy back. That's why he's in the hospital too. I hope you guys actually understand and that this doesn't come off as babbling or whatever.

Anyway, i was about to put in a Xiuhan moment but decided not to as to not add any suspense. But the next chapter will be Xiuhan. I'm thinking of adding a little LuLay? Layhan? Whatever you want to call it. No, not like that. Just as friends because i subtly mentioned before that Lay is Luhan's first friend since coming to Korea. I haven't had them hang out yet so it will be there. They will support each other.

I've noticed all my Baekyeol problems are the same...Chanyeol gets upset for a while and then Baekhyun reminds him that he still likes him and they go back to being close. It's weird. I hope it's not annoying.

BTW this is completely unimportant but, i thought i should mention it. Chanyeol snoring indicates he is uncomfortable so, since he doesn't usually snore it means he's more comfortable sleeping with Baekhyun.
