[NO ONE P.O.V]

In front of a gigantic mount, the gang found the cave’s entrance. Before entered on this mysterious cavern, they quickly looked to each other and gulped. So making their mind, Siwon reached an old branch and ripped part of his cloth to wrap around the branch’s tip. He reached a lighter inside his pants and fired up the ‘torch’. When the torch was all fired up, half gang made some “Oh! Wow!” sounds and the other half held a boring semblance. Tiffany’s eyes shone proudly as she took the spot next to him and spoke:

“Very good, oppa! You are really smart!”

He shrugged his shoulders into a ‘humble way’ and spoke cockily while smiling at the dumbfounded Tiffany:

“They aren’t the only ones who were scouts before, now let’s go.”

“Ok, oppa.”

Tiffany said happily as she walked aside Siwon with her eyes shining as if she was facing a super hero. Back of them, Yoong, SeoHyun, TaeYeon and SooYoung rolled their eyes at Siwon’s remark while Jesse held his cold face and gritted his teeth in anger. The latter breathed deeply and whispered:

“This must be some kind of joke… I just can’t wait to get out of here…”

Minutes later, all of them started to explore the Dark Cavern. When the Oracle told them that this place was dark, she wasn’t kidding; the place was REALLY dark, if it wasn’t by her ‘compass’, they would be lost for sure due the quizzical trail. The compass was actually a floating crystal which it shows the right way. Out of sudden, this same compass stopped, yet flied rapidly to a spot a few meters away from the gang. The spot had two torches on each side which it shows the real entrance of the cavern, in that case, the maze.

Once they walked and entered on the spot where the compass had guided them, their vision became clear due the light emitted by the crystal. When they realized, they were inside of a large chamber filled with emblems and messages craved on the walls. But also, for their surprise, the wall was also filled with some kind of precious stones. While everyone was investigating the room, Siwon called Tiffany as he spotted a beautiful pink diamond stone:

“Hey, Fany-ah. Take a look on this!”

Tiffany’s eyes shone when her eyes landed on the beautiful pink diamond. She kept staring the object in trance as Siwon glanced at her with a sly and charming smile crept on his lips. A dumbfounded Tiffany could only blurt in awe with the stone:

“It – It’s beautiful.”

“Not so beautiful as you.” Siwon added into a warm tone, gathering Tiffany’s attention. The latter blushed as they held a long stare. Suddenly he looked back at the stone and spoke:

“I think you would look even more beautiful with that pink diamond, don’t you think?”

So Tiffany didn’t think twice to open a wide smile and make her way to the pink stone. Meanwhile, just when everyone was in awe due to the place; Jesse raised his eyebrows when an image craved on the wall caught his attention. The image was a person touching into some kind of diamond; afterwards there was an image of a person falling to some kind of trap for taking something forbidden.

Since he watched too much movies and read a lot of adventure books, he knew that all the amateurs described on the stories didn’t think twice to get a treasure without thinking into the consequences, but definitely this wasn’t him. Pondering his thoughts, he decided to warn his friends:

“Hey, guys. Just a guess, but don’t touch anything ok? This place is filled with traps.”

“Yeah, I thought on the same thing, Jess.”

Yuri spoke as the entire gang nodded in agreement, almost everyone. So Jesse started to look around when he noted that two people were missing. He rolled his eyes in anticipation since he knew who the people were. Approaching them, he tried to speak nonchalantly:

“Hey, you two. Don’t touch on anything or --!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

In a blink of an eye, Jesse rushed to Tiffany (pushing Siwon away meanwhile) when he realized that the girl was holding a pink diamond. Felling worried; Jesse started to look around and raised his brown in confusion:

“Odd… it should happen somethi--- Woahhhhhhhhh!!!” His words were abruptly interrupted when a trapdoor suddenly opened beneath their feet, making them fall into a deep hole. Tiffany screamed a top of her lungs while she was dragged into the hole with Jesse. She didn’t even realize that her potion fell on the floor… and the Oracle’s bottle shattered in million of pieces…

“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~~~~~~~!!!!”

“Tiffany!” “Jesse!” “Unnie!”

The gang and Siwon yelled in despair when the hole suddenly closed and a wall in front of them was raised, revealing a trail. They looked back to the place where Tiffany and Jesse fell. SeoHyun gulped, already tearing up as she whimpered in anguish:

“Unnie…”

It was when someone placed a hand on her shoulder, gathering her attention. Once she looked to the person, her heart eased when she met a pair of doe-eyes staring at her warmly. Yoong placed his hands on her shoulders and spoke gently, yet into an assuring tone:

“Don’t worry, Hyunnie. We will find your unnie and Jesse. I promise. But you can’t lose your faith ok? We are a team and we always will help each other.”

With simple words, SeoHyun felt her heart fluttering into a sudden peace and warmth. So, nodding in agreement, she looked up to Yoong and to her friends as she spoke into a firm tone:

“Let’s find them.”

Everyone nodded in agreement as they ran out of the large room to where the compass takes them. They only can hope and pray for their friends’ safety now…

Meanwhile with Jess and Tiffany…

[JESSE P.O.V]

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

I kept yelling in despair while we fell into a long tunnel. Yet out of sudden, the tunnel ended and I widened my eyes in shock with the sight… a dark abyss was waiting for us. When I was about to fall into the cliff, I managed to throw myself on backwards, reaching the cliff’s tip. I swear to God that my life was saved by 80 centimeters of floor. When I was calming myself and taking deep breaths, my heart stopped in shock once again…

“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!”

I heard that Hwang’s piercing screams and I doubled the size of my eyes when I hastily look around to find a way to not let her fall into the abyss. Once I looked over, there was she falling on the same spot where I should fall. Seeing that she was falling to the certain death, I didn’t thought twice as I plunged myself forward to take her on my grasp, closing my eyes tightly since if I jumped far, I could fall into the abyss with her. As I premeditated, when she was about to fall on the cliff; my hands automatically wrapped on her waist as I launched myself onto backwards, dragging her along to my arms.

The silence surrounded us, well to be honest; the only thing I heard was the sound of some small rocks falling into the cliff and our heavy breathing. My eyes still was closed, yet my grip remains firm. When I realized that I should open my eyes, I froze… her face was a few centimeters away from mine. Her eyes were squeezed shut while her hands were firmly attached on my shoulders.

Once again that same betrayer heart started to thump furiously with the sight of her face… After some seconds, I think she realized that someone was looking at her, so she opened her eyes and I remained like a stone when our eyes met. That time, my body was filled with different temperatures; I felt so warm inside, but on outside I felt like I was frozen, even when my palms were sweating like crazy. But for a moment, for a brief moment… even when I was on the edge of a frightening abyss… I felt so right with her lying here on my arms…

… ??? !!!

What the’ll?! We are talking about the Hwang here! As if she had heard my thoughts, both of us broke our stare as she started, already removing her hands from me:

“Wha-what are you think you are d-doing, J-Jung!?”

I stared at her incredulously as I managed to speak calm between her outbursts while following a trail out of the dangerous edge for a sturdy trail:

“I think I just saved your life and yes, a simple thank you would be enough.”

She snorted while following me and I grimaced with her tone, I didn’t like it, this didn’t even a bit:

“Pfffft, right. You saved me huh? We wouldn’t fall into this scaring place if you didn’t push me off. If Siwon oppa was here, everything would be fine! He always knows what to do! And make me a favor and mind on your own business!”

Oh that’s it! Now she made me really MAD! I was pondering if I had a reason to save this spoiled brat. She can discuss with me, insult me or even fight with me, but putting that jerk on our business… no, this I can’t take it! With my teeth gritted in anger, my blood boiled as I roughly turned around, startling her with my action:

“WILL YOU SHUT UP?! JUST SHUT UP!”

dropped with my outburst and when she started again:

“Hey, look the way you talk with me!” We glared each other fiercely as I cut her speech:

“No! Now you are going to listen to me! I am tired of this!”

I yelled at her as I pointed my finger into her face. She remained quiet and startled while I finally unloaded myself, speaking into my ultimate cold tone:

“Ever since we got here and before that, you are always bickering with me, insulting me and discussing with me without apparent reasons. I know you dislike me and this is very obvious, but can you stop praising your not so perfect oppa in front of me?! Is that hard for you huh?! All I heard from you since the beginning was your annoying giggles while you are fangirling him all the time! Siwon oppa this or that! I don’t care! Just keep these things with you and don’t bother me anymore!”

I held the bridge of my nose as I took a deep breath when I realized what I just said. Before she could start again, I warned seriously at her, feeling lighter to take this thing out of my chest, well… one of things:

“And for your information, if you want to get out of here alive, we must do this together... I suggest a truce to think a way to get out of this place since we don't have our compass. So… do you agree?”

She mumbled sulkily something while crossing her arms and I couldn’t describe what she said. So I managed to ask again into a higher and determinate tone while staring at her seriously and she kept averting her stare to her left side:

“So…?”

“Yeah, yeah… whatever… Jung.”

“It’s very nice when you agree so willingly.” I replied sarcastically as I turn around, yet when I heard her loud ruff, I had to contain my smirk. Following the trail, I spoke into a serious tone:

“Good, let’s start with this trail. Follow me and stay close.”


[TIFFANY P.O.V]

“Good, let’s start with this trail. Follow me and stay close.”

Pfffft, who he thinks he is? My personal guide? Ah come on, but… I don’t have any choice. If I want to get out of here and alive, I must do what he said. Yet, I still refused to walk aside him; he is so arrogant and cold. Arghhh, I squeezed my eyes while balled my hands into fists, finally letting a frustrating sigh:

“Stupid nerd…”

We walked for hours; well I don’t even know since this place it’s really big. Honestly, I don’t know when this dark and scaring tunnel will take us. I couldn’t help to gulp while my eyes scanned our surroudings. After his outburst, we didn’t exchange a word, this way was for the best or else we would end up discussing again. Then, while
