[HYOYEON P.O.V]

It started early as I thought. I felt the fear and anticipation consuming my body once I caught the sight of the explosion. It didn’t last too long until the dance floor turned into a true chaos. People crying and screaming in despair while they tried to run away from the ballroom, I was about to help them, yet I gulped in fear when I saw those bandits blocking the exit with their dangerous weapons.

Oh boy, this was for real! These guys were not kidding! Although I knew it was my duty, I wanted help these people, yet I couldn’t help to feel terrified. Dwelling in my inner fight, I felt a sudden squeeze in my left hand. The grip was soft, warm and secure; I hurriedly look up and saw EunHyuk staring at me with an assuring stare:

“Remember… you are not alone.”

He squeezed my hand again and it was like a burst of courage exploded in my being. I smirked at him gratefully and looked forward to hide my blush. Unconsciously, I thumbed his hand and admitted:

“I am glad to have you around. Thanks… EunHyuk.”

His smile widened and I could see a faint blush in his cheeks. Was he blushing? Aigoo, it's so cute to see a guy blushing, much more when it was because of me hahaha. I could , but we had some company. Then, I grinned again as I saw the bandits approaching of us. Sadly, we untangled our hands as he drew his sword and placed his back against mines, since we were surrounded.

I raised a brown when they pointed their swords, axes to us, ready to attack. I scoffed as I tapped my bracelet and warned teasingly as a light encircled my wrist:

“Give me your best shot!”

Out of sudden, the pair of Sais appeared on my bare hands. Not wasting a second, our fight started. They were charging against me and before I could hit one of them, like a flash EunHyuk slashed them for me. I was outspoken, touched, yet annoyed at the same time, come on, I want to fight too! It looks like he realized by my expression and winked at me, making blush furiously once he spoke:

“I am really sorry, my fair lady. But I won’t let you get yourself inju— Arghh!”

“Eunhyuk!”

Damn it! A bandit managed to knock him onto the ground while he was distracted. I rushed to help him, but another round of bandits surrounded me and he couldn’t defend himself since his sword was far from him. Shoot! I must do something or else this will be our end! Suddenly, when I saw those large bandits ready to kill me, I gulped hard and prepared myself. Quickly, I placed my Sais before me, crossing my arms, making a “X” position with my Sais. When they roared charging against EunHyuk, I felt my blood boiling as I screamed:

“Let him alone! I am right here!”

Instantaneously, I felt a sudden energy flowing through my arms, then to my hands and finally, to my Sais. Once I opened my arms, something inexplicable happened… A strong wind burst from my weapons making some thugs fly on the air. Even agape, I prepared myself for the second blow, when they were before me, I screamed and did the same movement. And then, I was really shocked… I can’t even explain. But this time, when the wind crashed against them, they turned into dust immediately. It looks like the wind somehow slashed them like sharp blades cutting everything it touches…

Wait a minute… WOWWWWW!!! SO IS THAT MY POWER, HYORI UNNIE?! HAHAHAHA!!! I jumped in happiness and punched the air while laughing:

“Awesome!!! Hahahahaha!”

Yet, I stopped my nonsense when I realized that EunHyuk still was on the ground while looking at me quizzically. Oh man… I am so reckless sometimes. However, I got serious again as I rushed to him, aiding him to get up. Then, I couldn’t help to remark as he kept staring at me admirably:

“Not bad for a fair lady, huh?” He chuckled and placed his hands above mines while our eyes locked. So he whispered sincerely, smiling warmly at me:

“Not bad at all… But next time… just let me protect you, understood?”

That moment, I felt my heart bursting in my chest, yet I couldn’t say a word, just return his smile as I helped him to get up. We looked to each other and nodded while running to outside. Although I was hiding my smile due to those butterflies in my stomach, I could tell… that he was doing the same. Ahhh what it’s happening to me?

[SEOHYUN P.O.V]

Oh my God! This was getting worse than I thought! If I wasn’t with Yoong-oppa, I would be in major problems now. We were running by the palace’s gardens to the tower into an attempt to help our friends. I just can pray and hope for their safety for now, and unnie too. But I believed she was fine as long Jesse oppa was with her.

Back to the gardens, we were fighting with the countless enemies in our way. To be honest, Oppa was the one who was defeating them all. I lost the count of how many bandits Yoong oppa had fought… He was really good. I meant, I couldn’t help to admire the way he skillfully used his sword, so sharply, yet gracefully. Wow...

“Hyunnie, get down!”

I was shocked with his outburst, when I saw him running like mad to my direction; I widened my eyes as I turned around. I gasped loudly when a really strong bandit was raising his axe ready to split me in two. Was this my end? I squeezed my eyes shut in fear, fearing the blow… that it didn’t happen. When I fluttered my eyes open, I gasped again in shock once I saw oppa before me. The next thing I saw was the bandit turning into dust.

Phewww, if it wasn’t oppa… I – I would be dead… I saw him turning around and I couldn’t face him, I felt ashamed of my weakness, I couldn’t even defend myself. I stared the floor in embarrassment, not uttering a word until I felt a pair of warm hands on my shoulders followed by the smoothest and warm voice that I've ever heard:

“Hyunnie… please be careful, okay?”

I nodded dejectedly at him, still feeling guilty, I simply couldn’t face him. The silence surrounded us and when I realize it, warm arms wrapped around me. I doubled the size of my eyes when he gingerly placed my head on his chest. I was afraid that he could listen my loud heartbeats. Yet, I felt safe inside of his grip; he always knows how to calm me. Unconsciously, my eyelids dropped when he whispered gently while rubbing my back:

“You shouldn’t be afraid you know? You are the bravest girl that I've ever met. Don’t forget that.”

Slowly, I pulled from the hug, blushing when he looked down at me, with a tender smile in his lips. My face was on fire when he placed a hand on my cheek and uttered as we parted:

“Never doubt of yourself, Hyunnie. I know that you can do the extraordinary, just have faith on you as I do.”

We stared ourselves and emotions were overflowing, I wanted to tell him so many things, but I knew that it wasn’t the right time. Then, I nodded, feeling much more confident with his words, he trusted on me and I wouldn’t let him down. I firmly held my staff as he reached his sword. When we were about to rush to the tower, I leaned and planted a kiss on his cheek. He looked at me in surprise, blurting in shock:

“Wh-what was that for?!”

“A thank you kiss, oppa. Thank you for everything. Now, let’s go!”

I couldn’t even realize what I was doing, but I didn’t regret of my acts. Much more when I saw him blushing and smiling coyly at me. He nodded and together we rushed to the tower. Unnie, Jesse oppa, please, be all right.

[NO ONE P.O.V]

“HAHAHAHAHA! RUN! RUN, YOU MISERABLE INSECTS!!!”

Zen laughed maniacally as he watched Soshi Village destruction from afar. Of course he wouldn’t risk himself to fight against their army, the chosen ones and even the Oracle. No, it was very exciting to let his stupid pawns making the hardest part while he watched everything from his comforting seat. He appreciated the pandemonium while drinking his wine with a sick smirk in his lips. His laughter echoed in the air as he blurted in madness:

“I WILL GET THE SAPPHIRE STONE AT LEAST! HAHAHAHA AND EVERY BEING WILL HAVE TO BEND THEIR KNEES BEFORE ME! HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA---”

“Lord Zen.” The latter stopped his laughter abruptly when a masked man from his army bowed before him. Annoyed, Zen snapped back in anger:

“How dare you interrupt me?!”

“I – I am really sorry, master. But I have bad news.”

Zen made a ‘humph’ sound and crossed his arms while glaring his subordinate. The latter trembled under the glare of his red eyes, yet he stammered:

“The Sa-sapphire stone is held by one of the chosen ones.”

Zen rolled his eyes and talked into a refrained tone: “As if I didn’t I know that… AND?!”

The masked man jolted in fear due Zen’s frightening tone. So he continued, nervously:

“Th-this same chosen one is the one who is on the palace’s tower. If he manages to call for the reinforcements, our plan will be ruined, master!”

Out of sudden, the masked man widened his eyes when he felt something piercing on his stomach. Blood drip by his mouth due to the fatal wound as he stared weakly at his murderer. Zen shook his hand and brushed the blood from his hand as he calmly remarks:

“You really don’t know with who you are talking to… This is for you never doubt of my powers, scum!”

Instantaneously, Zen turned into a dark smoke as he flied to the castle and letting his dead subordinate for behind…

{JESSE P.O.V]

Pheww, that was close! I sighed briefly after shoot those bandits. Men, whenever I ended a round, they came all over again. Still, I didn’t have time for this. I caught a glimpse of the bell, great! I kept shooting on the bandits on the way as I rushed to the tower’s top. Jogging on the last steps, I was about to hit the bell when a sudden smoke pushed me violently to the wall.

“Ouch! What the he--?!”

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”

Out of the sudden, the smoke turned into a man with black clothes, gheez, he was a creeper. I didn’t like this weirdo at all; even struggling, I could stand up as I brushed my forehead and found… blood, great… good thing it was a small cut, but my back was hurting like hell! I couldn’t look weak, so I stood up and hastily pointed my pair of shotguns to him:

“And who the’hell are you?!”

I was getting annoyed due his interruption, yet when he laughed cynically, I felt a sudden shiver on my spine… oh boy, this guy had such a dark and evil aura. Even when his laughter ceased, a sinister smirk played on his lips as he stared at me with those… red eyes?!

“So you don’t know who am I? Hmm, I bet our dear Oracle must have talked something about me… but let me introduce myself… I am… Lord Zen.”

*GASP* so this weirdo was the Zen?! No wonder he looked so evil and… powerful. Even terrified, I couldn’t help to feel angry. This guy almost killed us not once, but many times. Glaring at him, I held my guns tightly as I stormed out:

“So you are the one who almost kill us all?! Why can’t you leave us alone?! Why are you hurting these people?! They didn’t do nothing wrong against to you!”

“Hahahahahahaha!” Great, he was laughing again; his laughter was pissing me off already! I kept aiming at him as he wondered before me while shaking his head. Once he stopped, he pointed to my chest and snapped:

“Those people are expendable, but… you have the key for my success. Listen, let’s make a deal. You give me Sapphire Stone and I will spare your lives? You don’t have to do this; this isn’t your fight anyway. You just want to go home with your friends, am I correct?”

I gaped in shock, how could he know? Go back to our homes and end this nightmare? NO! He was tricking me! If I handed this stone to him, he would make this place a true hell! I couldn’t give this to him! I gritted my teeth while bursting at him:

“Do you really think that I am that stupid?! If you want this, come and get it, you sicko!”

“So you leave me without choice… It will be a pleasure to kill you! Arghhhhhhhhh!!!”

I widened my eyes once out of sudden he turned into a dark fog and disappeared. I gulped while holding my guns fiercely, yet suddenly I felt a presence behind me. I dodged just in time when something looking a long blade aroused from his arm almost hitting my back. He kept shoving his blows against me and I ran while shooting at him, but no use, my bullets would pass trough him without make any damage:

“What the hell?! How--!?”

“There is no use, you fool. You can’t hurt me. I am invincible! Hahahahaha!”

“Damn it!” One of his blows caught my right arm, damn he was fast! The blood was flowing of my cut as I kept dodging his strikes and making my counterattack. When I thought this couldn’t get worse, the fatigue was reaching my body and it was getting harder to dodge from him, I didn’t lose my neck for a second. If this continues, I am finished! Think, Jesse!

As I ran to the edge of the tower, he broke the stones with his blows as if the rocks were mere leafs. This guy was dangerous! Just more a step, pheww! Once I was cornered, he turned into a human form again and walked to me slowly with that same maniac smile:

“I must admit that I am surprised. You are first one who last so much against me. You could be useful, such a pity that this will be your end. Now, hand me the Sapphire stone and I will give up a rapid death!”

I scoffed and roughly removed the Sapphire Stone from my neck. Quickly, I held the stone on the air, threatening to drop to the sea:

“Is this what you want? Come on! What happened? The cat ate your tongue?! I am warning you, if you don’t back off and leave this place at once… I swear to God that I drop this!”

His eyes widened due my threat as he stood still in his spot. Yeah, you better listen to me now, why didn’t I think of this before? So he walked slowly at me, speaking calmly:

“You wouldn’t do this, if you drop it, you will be destroying your only chance to go back to your home! Now give me that, you brat!”

“One more step and I will destroy this, I mean it!” I yelled angrily at him. So, he exposed a long and sharp blade inside of his sleeve. I gulped and raised my gun to aim at the stone. He back off afraid of my actions, yet out of sudden, I heard a familiar voice calling me:

“JESSE!!! I will help you!”

Tiffany?! Oh, no! Once I looked down, Tiffany was running through the bridge while defeating some bandits. Damn it! I told her to stay there! If she comes here it would be more dangerous. In despair, I shouted at her:

“TIFFANY! STAY THERE! DON’T COME ANY CLOSER!”

Out of sudden, I heard that same evil laughter, I shot my head to him and there was Zen with his sinister smile plastered in his face as he spoke maliciously:

“Hmm, it looks like you have something more valuable than the stone. Now, let’s see what is more important… the stone… or your precious girlfriend hahahahaha *SNAP*”

My eyes widened in fear as he snapped his finger, yet apparently nothing happened… but I was wrong. Suddenly, tremors shook the entire palace, once I look to my right, my blood was drained of my body when I saw it… the most dreadful creature that I ever saw… he summoned… the GOLEM!

The Golem was simply a rock giant higher than a freaking building! Oh my God! Yet, this wasn’t what I fear! Once I looked back to Zen, he pointed to the spot where Tiffany was and yelled at the Golem:

“DESTROY EVERYTHING!”

I froze when the Golem walked to the bridge where Tiffany was. The people looked like ants before him; when I saw that monster raising it hands, my heard stopped when I saw his intention. Leaning on the railing, I yelled in despair:

“TIFFANY! GET OUT OF HERE N.O.W!”

“I WONT LEAVE WITHOUT YOU! *GASP* JESSEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

“STEPHANIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

Everything stopped at the moment the Golem punched the Palace’s pillars turning everything in wreckages. I felt something warm rolling by cheeks as I stared deadly at the huge dust on the destroyed bridge. No, no, NOOOO!!! THIS CAN'T BE THE END! TIFFANYYY! WHY YOU DIDN’T LISTEN TO ME?! The pain was unbearable. God, please! My lips were tremble; my knees were gave in at the scene before me, but… I blinked twice when I saw:

“Jessieeeeee!!!”

What?! TIFFANY!? When the dust dissolved, I saw her, her sword was on fire and she was between a huge rock… Wait?! She slashed the stone in two?! I could see her blazing sword from afar as she looked at me… Oh, thank God she was fine. Still, tears rolled by my face. She was equally surprised as she looked to her blade and then, to me. I nodded to her and she understood as she ran to our friends. Once I look around, Zen was surprised with the scene as well. I used this chance and aimed to the bell:

*BANG!*

He snapped back when I finally hit the bell, when he looked at me, I felt the anger consuming my body, how dare he hurt the girl I love? Oh, he will pay for that:

“You b@st@rd! You are going to pay N.O.W! Don’t you dare hurt her ever again!!!”

When I let my war cry, a sudden form appeared before me wearing a white cloak. I snapped in surprise to see Hyori facing Zen as she spoke seriously without look at me:

“Jesse, go help the others while I deal with him.” “But, Hyori-!”

“Go! That monster will kill everyone if we don’t stop it now! Hit the heart, don’t forget!”

I breathed deeply and nodded. Quickly, I ran and thrown myself from the tower, using the rope to reach the palace’s yard. This wasn’t going to be easy. God, help us…

[NO ONE P.O.V]

“Fireball! Blizzard!” “Arghhh, take that! 1, 2, 1, 2, 3!”

Yuri and SooYoung’s shouts echoed the palace as they defeated the bandit’s hordes. Honestly, they weren’t having problems since their weapons suffered an upgrade.Yuri improved her spells and now, she could deal with many rounds by herself while SooYoung, thanks his new acquisition, a gauntlet that provides an immense strength. He squashed sturdy bandits so easily as if they were made by paper. The tanned guy destroyed them all while Yuri covered his back creating a firewall, blocking the bandit’s way.

They would meet the gang in the palace’s yard until they heard loud tremors. Once they looked to the north, they widened their eyes at the sight of the stone giant. Quickly looking at each other, SooYoung spoke in awe:

“Look the size of that! It’s huge!”

Yuri nodded in shock, still staring the Golem. Then, she felt a squeeze on her hand, looking to her side; her heartbeat quickened the pace once she met a pair of chocolate eyes:

“Remember… together, okay?”

Then, she reached his hands on her shoulders and returned the action, holding and thumbing gently. So, she added:

“You better stay close to me.” “Yes, ma’am!”

He saluted her as they stared at each other warmly. Soon, they rushed to the yard.

[SUNNY P.O.V]

“Taengo, watch out!”

“Wow that was close! Thanks, bunny!”

I couldn’t help to giggle at his cute nickname, oh God, I am blushing! He was so silly, byun and childish sometimes… yet how could I not love him? He was too cute to bear! Anyways, we were handling the bandits until another round of those sturdy bandits came over. The bad thing was that their red armor was much heavier and stronger than the other one. Tae’s arrows weren’t able to break trough. I knew he was getting tired since the bracelet drains our energy while we used our weapons, shoot, we needed to be fast!

Yet, I gasped in fear when those sturdy bandits surround me, I used my spear on their armor and… it broke it! Oh no…

“Damn…” What am I going to do now?

“Hey! You cowards! Come and get someone of your size! Err ok someone smaller, I guess…”

I saw Tae getting their attention to make them set me free. But now, those strong and tall bandits were cornering my TAE! He kept shooting his arrows at them but no use! Arghhh if I didn’t do something, Tae would be… no!

“Sunny, get out of here! I will deal with them!”

“What?! No way!” “Go, Sun—argh!!!” My blood froze when I saw a bandit grabbing Ta bye his neck and raising him on the air. Noo! I need to save him and destroy that armor!

“Taengo, hang on!” “Yeah, s-sure…” He squealed, he was losing his breath. I looked to my sides, what could I do?! I needed to save him! So, the bracelet sparkled and finally my broken spear transformed into a… what?! An axe?! Wow, this looks strong!

I was surprised; this axe was lighter than I thought! I hope it works! I glared at the bandits and raised my long axe, yelling:

“You will regret of touching my Taengoooooo! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!”

Once I hit the axe on the ground, it created a huge crack. This same crack follows the bandits and the impact broke their armor at the same moment. Haha the power of the earth, cool! Unprotected, Tae fell from their grasp and aimed:

“Take that!” With a rain of arrows, all the enemies were destroyed. I took a deep breath and the last thing I felt was lips on my mouth. Tae raised me on the air and hugged me tight, when we parted, I was flustered as he smiled lovingly, whispering:

“My heroine…” “Aww Taeee… why are you so cute?!” He giggled as I pinched his chubby cheeks. Suddenly he wriggled his eyebrows to me and remarked with his byun face:

“Are you going to wear those y outfits for me, hmmm?” Arghh, the byun struck again, I slapped his arm as he laughed and pulled me for a hug. I complied while hugging him tight, I felt relieved. Yet, our battle didn’t end. Out of sudden, tremors caught our attention and when we realize it, a rock monster was destroying the palace! We looked to ourselves and nodded as we ran to our friend’s help. This won’t be easy…

[NO ONE P.O.V]

The gang was almost reunited. HyoYeon and EunHyuk appeared from the palace’s entrance. SooYoung and Yuri arrived by the south while the maknaes were making their way by the west. The danshin duo used the bridge to reach the yard while Tiffany was fighting against the bandits on the center. Jesse was running by the railings while shooting on the archers. He was about to met with Tiffany until he heard a piercing scream. He was shocked to see some bandits attacking the royal family. The regent was fighting against them, but they were too many. The princess was trying to help, but she was in danger.

Jesse was about to help her when something unexpected happen…

“LET HER GO!”

The gunner was agape to see no one else than Siwon using his spear to protect the princess. He managed to help her run away, but he put himself in danger. He was about to be killed when *BANG BANG BANG*, Jesse gave another round of headshots, turning them into dust at the same moment. Siwon was with his eyes widened once he realized that his life was saved… by Jesse?! Both of them stared each other seriously and then, Jesse nodded and Siwon returned, understanding his action. Soon, he rushed to the royal family to guarantee their safety. But he couldn’t help to whisper in awe to the wind:

“Thanks… Jung…”

Back to the gang and thanks to Jesse’s action, everyone was finally reunited at the palace’s large yard. The reinforcements had come and everybody was in their positions. Defeat this monster wouldn’t be easy, but wasn’t impossible. So… it began!

Soshi’s Village army attacked the bandit’s hordes while the gang concentrated their attention on the Golem. The latter was destroying everything in his way, with only a blow or a punch; constructions were falling onto the ground. Great blocks of rocks were falling by the palace. The gang was having a hard time to help the army and stay alive. This monster was at least, 10 times powerful from the previous ones. But, thanks to Hyori’s advices, the Golem has a weakness…

In his chest, there was a gem that granted its life. If they hit the gem precisely, the Golem would be destroyed. The problem was… who would be close enough to hit its heart. It required teamwork indeed. Just like they planned in beforehand, it was time to put the plan in action. The first step, they needed to grab the monster’s attention. So Yuri and SooYoung started. The invoker casted huge fireballs on the Golem’s back, but it didn’t make any damage, yet it caught the monster’s attention.

Proceeding with the plan, Sooyoung used this chance to call the Golem:

“Hey, you! I saw rocks better than you! Come on, come and get me!”

The Golem raised the hand and punched the wall above SooYoung, breaking it at the same moment. The tall guy managed to roll and escape, yet he used a large rock to throw against the Golem, still no damage. He cursed and waited for next step.
