[SIWON P.O.V]

It’s been awhile since the last time I saw Tiffany and that geek Jung. I didn’t like this at all… why Tiffany is taking so long? A heavy sigh escaped from my lips as I looked around; tsk, I didn’t know how Tiffany can stand with these losers. As soon we get out of here, some changes will happen. Once again, there was me staring at the spot where Tiffany left. Maybe I should go after her; I didn’t like the idea of her getting close to that Jung again.

When I was about to get up, I saw someone coming; narrowing my sight to get a better view, I grunted, displeased when I realized that it was that weirdo. I glared at him inquisitively and as if he could feel my glare, he returned the same glare to me. Oh, how I wanted to put him on his place… hmmm maybe I will have this chance soon. Yet, a thing surprised me, after some seconds, he broke his glare and shook his head as he made a way far from my sight. He definitely looked troubled with something, tsk whatever.

He better did not touch Tiffany or else… arghh, I gritted my teeth to contain my anger. However, everything disappeared when I saw Tiffany coming from the same direction with her head lowered. Hmm, I got this opportunity and narrowed my eyes to the nerdy Jung as I could see him glancing Tiffany. So, you do like to look at her… hmmm… interesting. When she was about to go on, I rushed to her and placed my hands on her arm’s sides as I looked down to her, trying to look more worried and speak as loud as possible:

“Are you ok, MY dear Fany?”


Hahaha, eat that Jung! I rejoiced myself while glancing the Jung, he was steaming for sure while he glanced us from afar. Yes, that’s right, she is mine and there is nothing you can do. I had to hide my smile when he stood up from his spot and walked away, clearly displeased.

When I looked down to the girl in my arms, I frowned confusedly since it was the first time I saw her eyes looked distant as she spoke apologetically at me:

“Oh oppa, I’m sorry. Yes, yes, I’m fine; I am going to check SeoHyun now. We can talk later ok?”

I forced a smile as I spoke:

“Yeah, of course.”

So, she untangled herself from my arms and smiled apologetically as she walked to her sister. Arghh, what is happening here?! She never says no to me, aghh definitely… this must be that Jung doing. I gritted my teeth as I returned to my spot on the ground, only one thought echoed in my angry mind:

“Just wait… she will be mine, Jung. I won’t let her approach you… again.”

[JESSE P.O.V]

Under a starry and beautiful sky, there was me lost in my thoughts again while everyone was sleeping. As much as, I tried to forget the earlier events, I knew I couldn’t. Whenever I try to stay far, my heart insists to bring her back to my deepest feelings. I pondered my thoughts, remembering that time when we were on the lake. I still can’t believe that we had an almost ‘normal conversation’, hey, don’t blame, I was really worried with Seohyun, but…

I must admit that when I heard her soft voice towards me, even after so long, I barely could seize the beatings of my betrayer heart… Now, I am confused, what if she didn’t ha--- no, I am sure that she hates me; she was just being nice because I helped her sister. Nothing changed, still…

It wasn’t necessary to ask her, but asked Seohyun was the most correct action, right? Still, what do I have to talk with… Hwang? I breathed deeply as my eyes automatically landed on her back. I watched her back rising and lowering due her smooth breathing.

You really were tempted to turn around that time, huh?

My cheeks heated when this sudden thought came to my mind… Rghh, cr@p! I can’t even convince myself! But no, I am not a byun as Taeyeon, but… she is beaut---NO! What is wrong with me!? I was doing fine before talking to her; there is no point to open an old wound! *Sigh* I hope I can go back home soon, I don’t know how long I will be able to handle this.

When I was about to close my eyes, I felt that same weird feeling as if someone was watching me. I scanned our surroundings and everything was clear, still I was bothered; definitely this won’t be the first or last time that this will happen…

[NO ONE P.O.V]

Back to the hazy castle on the sea, the same subordinate appeared on the dark throne room. Once he looked around to see a dark place, he gasped in shock and felt the fear creeping in his body. When he saw his master looking through the window while watching the raged waves, he gulped heavily as he approached from Zen with his head lowered in shame. His hand was already trembling as he gulped again and tried hard to not sputter:

“Ma-Master, I – I have b-bad news… those foreign, sir… they… they killed the… Chimera monster.”

The masked subordinate widened his eyes when he saw his master crushing a sturdy iron bar on the wall due to his anger. He flinched and gulped when he heard the cold and frightened tone:

“…And?”

He took a deep breath as he knew that the next sentence would make his master incredibly furious:

“And… t-they were found and helped… by the… Oracle…”

“WHAT?!”

“Master, we failed. They were stronger than we thought and with the Ora-!!”

The masked man couldn’t even finish his sentence as a sudden force pushed him against a sturdy wall. When he was about to recover, his master gripped his neck angrily. The subordinate was trying to gasp for air, but Zen glared him with his scarlet eyes as he tightened the grip:

“Is that all you have to say?! That you failed, huh?!”

Zen snarled angrily while seeing his subordinate fighting to stay alive. What he feared the most was happening and he couldn’t give up now. So tightening the grip, he yelled angrily:

“Where are they now!?”

*Gasp*

“T-the… the-y passed through t-the S-stony ravine, n-now t-they are at t-the Ss-serpent lake, m-master.”

“What?”

Zen said in confusion as he loosened the grip on the masked man’s neck. While the latter was rubbing his neck, trying to recover his breath, Zen started to pace in his room as his mind started to work out. Out of sudden, he turned around and asked coldly:

“Is the serpent still there?”

When the subordinate recovered himself, he nodded abruptly in fear as he lowered his head:

“When we sent our men to dominate that area… not even one of them came back… one hundred men simply vanished and we couldn’t control that monster.”

Suddenly an evil smile formed in Zen’s face as he held his chin, speaking:

“Hmm maybe those damn foreign can be useful now. How can we awake this serpent?”

“The serpent lies on the lake’s bottom. Nothing that my men can handle, we just need to make a distraction and the serpent will attack anyone who crash in the territory.”

“Then, do it, Shiro. Let’s see if they are really strong.”

“Yes, master.”

When the masked man was about to leave, a cold and harsh voice stopped him on his spot:

“No flaws this time, Shiro.”

“Ye-yes, master Zen.”

“Leave!”

“Yes, master!”

With that, the masked man vanished on the air as Zen returned to his ‘throne’. The latter gritted his teeth and grunted angrily:

“Let’s see if you can run away this time…”

[SEOHYUN P.O.V]

It was almost noon; well I think so, due to the bright sun above our heads… Ever since we found ourselves lost in this place, I didn’t even know what time it was anymore. My stomach was rumbling slightly, good thing that Jesse, Yoong and SooYoung oppa had the idea of fishing or else… we would be in major problems now.

Right at this moment, I was observing Yuri-unnie, SooYooung and Yoong oppa trying to fish something. I wanted to help them, but unnie, Jesse and Yoong oppa were opposite the idea. This is not fair, I am feeling better, just a little tired; still… they don’t let me do anything! So, here was me resting under the tree’s shadow while my feet touched the cool water, I must admit that this was very refreshing, Fany unnie was right…

I stopped my thoughts for awhile; it was when I realized it… Fany was so caring and over-protective with me. Don’t get me wrong, she always takes a good care of me. It just… well, ever since she met Siwon, she was blinded by him… Okay, I wanted to be happy for unnie, I really do, but there are at least two reasons which hinder me. One, because honestly, I don’t trust him, I don’t know what is his intention with my unnie, but it isn’t a good thing. And two, well, I would love to have Jesse-oppa as my brother-in-law, he is very nice and caring.

*Chuckles* I couldn’t help to giggle at the thought as I watched them both, *sigh* there was them bickering with each other again, I wonder when they will stop their nonsense and confess to each other already. I know that Fany unnie feels different when it comes to Jesse-oppa, hmm but they are so proud… I just hope that they can have their opportunity to be honest with each other… sometimes ‘love’ is closer than we thought.

Love? I think I am not a better person to say this since I never fell in love before, so I don’t even know the signals… Yet, unconsciously, my eyes took me to the person in front of me. That time, the same feeling started to make my heart quicken the pace. I know it’s wrong to watch someone without their consent, but… I couldn’t stop looking at… him.

“Yoong-oppa…”

I whispered weakly to myself. Suddenly, a smile crept in my lips with the sight before my eyes. He was so serious and focused to get a fish that I giggled when a fish slipped from his hands. When he pouted, I admitted that it was really adorable *chuckles*. Suddenly, he raised his head and stared at me with narrowed eyes. As soon our eyes met, I gulped playfully as he crossed his arms and cocked his head forward:

“Are you laughing on me by any chance?”

I had to cover my eyes with my hands or else I would laugh at his serious face:

“N-no, of course not, oppa!”

Out of sudden, he nodded his head and rubbed his hand together as he spoke earnestly:

“Ha, you will see! I will get this fish or my name isn’t Yoong!”

“That’s right, oppa! I know you can do it!”

A coy smile crept in his lips as he hurriedly looked forward, but I could see some tint of pink on his cheeks… omo, he is really cute. Wait a minute… since when I found a boy… cute? I widened my eyes in realization, but afterwards a thought came to my mind:

“But he is cute… admit it already…”

Slowly, a smile crept in my lips as I thought “Well…Yes…” I looked back to him and he was concentrating himself. Secretly, I was cheering for him… so, out of sudden, I gasped in surprise when he yelled in happiness while pulling something from the water:

“Aha! I told you that I would make it!”

“Wow, that’s great, Yoong oppa!”

However, once again we were staring at each other as I realized that he was smiling and he was astounded. We kept staring at each other warmly and my heart increased the pace again. When I was about to speak, I widened my eyes when the reckless fish started to fight for his life. Yoong oppa awoke from his trance as he doubled the size of his eyes too; he hurriedly tried to hold the flailing fish as he screamed:

“YA! KEEP STILL OR ELSE I--- WHOOOAAAA!”

*SPLASH*

I was agape with the situation; the fish managed to escape from Oppa’s hands and… dragged Yoong oppa to the water. When I realized, oppa was completely drenched in water as he looked at me with a boring expression. We looked to each other for a moment and his hair was totally sprawled on his face… my cheeks were hurting since I was trying hard not to laugh. But when he stood up, totally soaked… I couldn’t hold myself anymore…

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

My stomach was hurting as I was laughing loud of his face; it was so funny and cute. He kept looking at me with a bored expression. When I looked back at him, he narrowed his eyes and spoke bitterly, yet playfully:

“Oh…so you are making fun of me now huh?”

“N-no oppa…”

I barely could speak since I was laughing at him. Yet, a mischievous smile crept in his lips as he spoke playfully:

“All right… payback time! Take this!”

“Kyaaaaaaaa~~~~”

He started to splash some water on me and I screamed. As soon I heard his chooding laughter, I grinned mischievously too as I stood up from my spot and rushed to him:

“COME BACK HERE!”

“MAKE ME HAHAHAHA”

“Hahahahahaha”

Soon, our laughter’s started to fill the air, honestly, I am a very collected person, but… he is always managed to take the best of me and make me smile, even in a situation that we are now. Im Yoong… you really are full of surprises… thank you for staying with me. I don’t know what it’s happening with me, but somehow… I am glad to have these unknown feelings…

[YURI P.O.V]

A smile crept in my lips as I watched the cute scene before me. SeoHyun and my brat dongsaeng were playing on the lake while splashing water on each other. I must admit that I never see my brother like this; he is always used to tell me that something was missing in his heart even when a bunch of girls were totally over him. Yet, the way he acts with SeoHyun, well I can tell that something is different on his eyes, like a true gleam. Not just on his, but on hers too… hmmm, definitely something is happening between them…

I just hope that they can be honest with each other. True love is really amazing when you find the right person… it's odd to talk about this when a person had a broken heart for many times already.
