DAY 16
Hundred Ways"It’s okay. I couldn’t sleep anyway.”
Please, please, please, pick up. He shouldn’t be busy at this hour, right? But what if he’s already asleep? Ah, , I’m botherin—
“Hello, darling.”
I abruptly bring my phone closer to my ear, snuggling to my pillow and imagining as if it’s Sehun, murmuring, “Hi. I hope I didn’t disturb your sleep. I mean, it’s late and I know you need to rest—“
“You’re rambling, baby.” Sehun chuckles and I can hear it in his voice that he’s tired. The last thing I want to do is to deprive him of sleep, which he needs the most every day. I don’t want him to stay awake just because I had a bad day at school.
He breathes in, “I know you have something to tell me.”
Holding on my blanket, I utter, “Are you sure? You sound tired.”
“It’s okay. I couldn’t sleep anyway.” Sehun assures and if it’s really okay, then I wouldn’t stop myself from venting out my anger on the coach that benched me during training game, and on that stupid boyfriend of my friend who cheated on her and had the balls to ask her out again. A lot more happened, and there’s really no one to tell, but Sehun.
”It’s quite long. Are you up for it?” I smile, listening to his calm breathing.
“Of course, I am.” He hums, “But let’s use the video call. I want to see you.”
