“He has to be removed from camp.”

“No! The guy did nothing wrong, he said so.”

“He could be lying!”

“Whatever it is, he’s a threat to camp. Who knows what else he might do next?”

“Turn all of us into stone?”

“He’s innocent for god’s sake he wouldn’t do that to Taeyeon.”

“Is he?”

Thirteen head counselors were sharing their thoughts verbally to one another about the urgent situation. They were caught up in a heated argument about banishing or letting the Son of Ares stay in Camp Half-Blood. Mostly the guys argued that it wasn’t his fault while the girls thought otherwise. 

“That’s enough!” Taecyeon finally spoke up after the commotion was leading to no where. The rest of them sat back down on their chairs, silencing quickly after the Son of Zeus said his command. 

Taecyeon clasped his hands on the table, deep in his thoughts. “I have come into a conclusion that the Son of Ares has to be given a chance.”

Jessica Jung who substituted to be the temporary head counselor in the absence of Taeyeon, rose her hand in protest. “But Taecyeon–”

“No buts. I suggest that we let Wooyoung stay in camp if he proves his innocence by doing whatever he can to bring Taeyeon back to life. Do we all agree to this?” he paused, watching the others’ expressions. 

“Let’s vote shall we? Poseidon and Demeter?”

Nichkhun and Sooyoung nodded their heads slowly. “We agree.”

“Athena, Apollo and Artemis?” 

Yuri, Minjun and Sunny hummed in agreement. “Yes.”

“Ares, Aphrodite and Hermes?”

Chansung, Yoona and Yonghwa exchanged hesitant glances before turning back to their leader. “A chance it is.”

“Hestia, Dionysus and Hephaestus?”

Seohyun, Jay and Seulong gave their thumbs up, willing to let the Son of Ares a chance to stay in camp. “We look forward to whatever he’s got for us.” 

“Well, Daughter of Hera? Do you agree to our proposal about giving the Son of Ares a chance?” 

Jessica looked up to see the others waiting for her answer. She let out a sigh of defeat. “Fine. We’ll give him a chance. Wooyoung will only be welcomed to stay in camp if he saves Taeyeon’s life.” 

“It’s settled then. This meeting is dismissed.”

The head counselors left the room one by one, only leaving Taecyeon and Nichkhun by themselves. Wooyoung stepped inside the room after all of them were gone. He walked over to the guys with his head lowered. 

“I’m really sorry guys. I didn’t mean for this to happen. Please believe me,” he begged.

Nichkhun patted him on the shoulder. “You did nothing wrong Wooyoung, Taec and I know that. But the problem now is that everyone thinks you’re a threat to camp. Even if we would deny it a thousand times unless someone has evidence that you’re innocent.”

Taecyeon stood up from his chair. “We’ll help you Wooyoung. We’ll get help from Chiron and we have to do it as soon as possible.”

“Where’s Chiron then?”

“He’s outside at the porch.”

The guys shuffled out of the room to meet up with Chiron. They found him testing out potions at his work station. “Chiron sir, we need your help.”

“Yes, I got the memo of the Daughter of Hera who turned into stone. It must’ve been from a snake’s venom that poisoned Taeyeon. Similar effect to Medusa’s snakes when one looks at her in the eyes. It’s called petrifaction.”

“Sir what can we do?”

“I’m afraid I can’t answer much Taecyeon. However, Dionysus may have an idea about your situation.”

“Where’s chief then?”

“He’s at the backyard in the garden harvesting some grapes.”

They moved to the back of the Big House, to the garden where they spotted Dionysus picking grapes rich in the color of violet from a vine. Taecyeon marched toward the god of wine, Nichkhun and Wooyoung followed behind him. 

The Son of Zeus bowed before the god. “Chief Dionysus, we need your help about something.”

Dionysus smiled back him, offering the basket of grapes. “Taecyeon! How are you Son of Zeus? And what seems to the problem?”

“I’m fine chief but um, we’re kind of in an emergency right now. The Daughter of Hera turned into stone. Do you know what we could do to turn her back into human?”

“Oh my,” Dionysus put the basket away on a small table. “The Daughter of Hera?”

“Yes chief, it’s Kim Taeyeon the head counselor for Hera.”

“If it’s Hera’s daughter we’re talking about, there is one way you could bring her back to life.”

Their eyes lit up in hope. “What is it chief?

“You have to find a white peacock’s feather and Hera’s sacred Pomegranate Tree of Life. Taeyeon will be resurrected back into a demigod when she is coated with the sacred juice from head to toe using the feather. Hera will be able to recognize this sacrificial tradition and would grant blessings to her daughter. That is because the pomegranate and peacock are sacred to her. In that way, Taeyeon will be brought back to life again.”
