It's officially been two months and Tao is struggling to sit still.   It's February 24th, exactly sixty-two days since Kris had written Tao a song and stolen his heart forever.   Tao is laying on his back, Kris's arm around his waist, snoring softly, his cheek on Tao's chest. Tao wants to wake him up so badly, to give him his present and finally decide what they were going to do to celebrate their anniversary today. Tao had wanted to meet Kris's parents, but Kris hadn't seemed so crazy about the idea. Tao knew he'd get his way though, he always did when it came to Kris.   He hears the older boy sigh softly, curling close to Tao, resting his chin in the hollow of Tao's collarbone, his lips brushing his skin as he speaks,   'Tao...'   Tao smiles, running his hand across Kris's smooth shoulders, down his arm, lacing their fingers,   "Kris...."   Tao sees the older boy's lips curve in a smile, his dark golden eyes flicking open as he meets Tao's gaze, a challenge in his eyes. Tao laughs softly, arching an eyebrow at him,   "What? Why that face?"   Kris doesn't answer at first, brushing his lips against Tao's collarbone, against the side of his neck, finding his lips. Tao lets him take the lead as he feels Kris's hands curve over his shoulders, rolling onto his back and pulling Tao on top of him, pressing a slow kiss to the side of his neck, his voice deadly soft, speaking in between kisses,   'Do you remember.....that day....when we had a snowball fight? And I asked you....if you believed in true love?'   He pulls back so that he's looking right at Tao and the dark haired boy nearly shivers at the intensity in his gaze,   'I didn't....'   He pulls Tao into another kiss, the warm sunshine and sugar taste of him making Tao feel weightless and he knows if he could see, he'd be glowing, Kris's magic in his veins. Kris breaks the kiss too soon and Tao can hear him panting, his voice deep, his words sticking with Tao long after this moment had passed,   'I do now....'   Tao grins, his eyes sparkling,   "God, I love you....."   He leans close, the tip of his nose against Kris's, his voice low and rough,   "Now, how about that reward I promised you?"   Kris arches an eyebrow at him, a smile curving his lips,   'What? Are you serious?'   Tao makes a face, nearly pouting,   "Oh come on. You said when we're home, we're home now. We have time. No one's going to interrupt us...."   Kris laughs softly, amusement in his eyes and something darker too, longing almost,   'If that's what you want....'   Tao smirks at him, curling a hand around his wrist,   "Is that even a question?"   Kris tilts his head back slightly, his voice soft,   'I'll be gentle with you-'   Tao groans in exasperation and Kris laughs softly, adjusting his statement as he takes Tao's chin in his hand,   'You like it a little rough, huh?'   Tao laughs, biting his lip as he tilts his head at Kris, his voice low,   "Give me everything...."   Kris his lips as he fixes Tao with a look that is raw passion, his eyes dark as he pulls the dark haired boy closer so that their shoulders are nearly touching, his words making Tao want to shiver,   'I'll make you mine, Tao....'     For the second time in the past week, time doesn't seem to pass at all, or if it does, it skips by as if it wasn't there at all. Tao can feel Kris's skin against his, feel his lips, his touch. His mind is drowning, like Kris is a drug, just making Tao want more and more.   Tao feels Kris bite him, feels his tongue, his grip tight, holding Tao down. And just like he promised, he gives him everything. Tao feels like every inch of his skin is on fire, burning him from the inside out and all he wants is Kris. He's hungry and he can't get enough, wanting Kris closer, better, more. Tao isn't aware of anything else besides Kris and if he's drowning, if he's dying, it's in the best way possible. His heart is beating faster than he knew it could and Kris is breathing softly against his ear, making him shiver.   Whatever Kris wanted, Tao would give it to him. And maybe Kris was right, this wasn't just love. What he felt for Kris was something else entirely. And Tao lets the pain and the fire and the ecstasy of it fill him until everything he can't feel anything anymore.     Tao wakes up for the second time that day, more tired than the first. He rolls over so that he's laying on his stomach, curling his hand into his pillowcase as he looks over at Kris. He's still sleeping, both of them exhausted. His eyes are closed and Tao can see bite marks on his neck, wondering for a brief moment if they're from him. Probably. Tao remembers for a moment and a smile curves his lips. Not as if he had much experience in the area, but he knew it had to have been pretty good. He reaches over, poking Kris in the arm, his voice soft,   "Hey....you....wake up...."   Kris groans and Tao represses a shiver at the sound, remembering again what they had done not that long ago. Kris's eyes blink open slowly, adjusting to the light of the room as they find Tao, a smirk curving his lips.   'Tao.....you look so pretty....'   He reaches over, drawing a hand down Tao's cheek as lightning seems to dance from his fingertips, racing through Tao, even the slightest touch making him want more. He pulls away slightly, arching an eyebrow at Kris,   "See? Chen didn't interrupt us this time...."   Kris laughs softly, his eyes amused,   'Maybe he didn't see us, but I'm sure he heard us. You weren't exactly quiet-'   Tao makes a face, smacking Kris on the arm as the older boy pretends to cower, Tao's voice almost annoyed,   "Screw you...."   Kris lowers his arm from protecting his face, a smug smile twisting his lips,   'Isn't that what you do?'   Tao laughs, dropping his hand and rolling onto his back, his soft laughter echoing through the room as he grins at Kris,   "That was a good one...."   He pauses for a moment, the laugh still in his eyes and he turns his gaze back to Kris's golden ones,   "I love you...."   Kris grins back at him, rolling over so that he's bending over Tao, his skin a pale gold in the morning light, Tao struggling to keep his eyes on Kris's face instead of his abs. Kris tilts his head at Tao, sounding almost in disbelief,   'You're like a shot of pure gold, straight to my brain....'   He smiles, leaning closer so that their lips are almost touching,   'And I love you too....you have no idea how much I love you......I can't imagine someone more perfect for me than you....'   Tao pulls him into a slow kiss, his lips lingering, trying to ignore how he feels almost light-headed, his skin on fire everywhere it was touching Kris's. Kris pulls back slowly, a smile curving his lips,   'And today's our anniversary too....whatever you want to do today, Tao....anything...'   Tao smirks, his eyes shining,   "I have a few ideas. Now go get dressed before Suho decides it's a good idea to surprise us with some anniversary-related thing! We've already had to deal with Chen, don't want to add Suho to the list...."   Kris arches an eyebrow at him,   'There's a list?'   Tao groans, hitting the side of his head,   "I take it back, I don't really love you that much...."   Kris laughs softly, bending to press another quick kiss to Tao's lips as he rolls off of him, getting to his feet. Tao turns to watch him go, enjoying the view of Kris in black boxer shorts, his toned legs and shoulders on display. Tao is laying there admiring Kris's back when the older boy turns to glance back at him, amusement curving his lips,   'ert. Get your mind out of the gutter...'   Tao rolls his eyes, sitting up and stretching his arms over his head, resisting the urge to just go back to sleep. Him and Kris were both going to feign illness for the day so they could skip school and spend the day together. Not a plan Suho approved of, but not something he could stop either. Tao glances up as Kris walks back over to him, pressing a kiss to his cheek, Tao feeling the need to clarify, his voice soft,   "But seriously, I love you Kris."   Kris grins at him, his pale golden hair sticking up perfectly, arching over his forehead,   'And I love you too; now since we don't, as you aptly put it, want to add Suho to the list, get dressed and come downstairs to eat breakfast and we'll decide what we want to do today, yeah?'   He straightens, walking over to the door and pausing for a second, smirking at Tao,   'And for future reference, that was really good...'   He closes the door behind him and Tao laughs softly, leaning his head back as he sits there for a moment, relaying the events of the morning to himself. But more than anything, what stands out to him is Kris's words. 'I do now.' Tao feels warmth run through his chest as he gets to his feet, nearly losing his balance. He must been more tired than he thought. Stupid Kris. Why did he have to be so good?   But somehow Tao is still smiling and knows he probably will be for a while. He catches sight of the sweater Kris had been wearing earlier on the floor and picks it up, inhaling the sweet spicy smell that clung to the pale blue fabric. He slips it over his head and pulls on his favorite black jeans.   Tao glances in the mirror for a moment and twists his head, catching sight of a bite mark on the side of his neck. He laughs softly and shakes his head, walking down the hall, pausing at the top of the stairs to survey the scene. Baekhyun and Luhan are clustered around Xiumin, giggling and admiring his ring.   Baekhyun still has a brace on his arm, but he seems to be doing far better. Him and Chanyeol still aren't back to being a couple yet, but Baekhyun seemed optimistic for their future. Lay looks like he's about to fall back asleep and Tao can hear him asking Suho if he'd help him study after school. Chen comes back into the room and shoos away Baekhyun and Lu, sitting next to Xiumin and pulling him close, pressing a kiss to his forehead.   Sehun is watching Luhan in amusement, Kai with an arm around his shoulders. Chanyeol is talking to Kris about something but Kris glances up as Tao makes his way downstairs. The look on his face is odd, something like adoration. Maybe. It turns to a smirk and Tao rolls his eyes as he sits down across from him. Tao is quiet and Kris is still talking to Chanyeol when Xiumin and Luhan share a look, smirking at them. Luhan starts laughing and Tao glances up, arching an eyebrow at him,   "Something funny, Lu?"   Luhan grins, looking between Tao and Kris,   'I think it's pretty obvious isn't it? You're glowing, Tao...'   Tao makes a face, more disbelief than annoyance,   "Excuse me?"   Xiumin smiles, elbowing Baekhyun as the sandy haired boy looks up, realization sliding across his face,    'Oh. My. God. You slept together, didn't you?'   Tao tries to keep any form of exaggerated shock off his face and he crinkles his nose,   "What?"   Kris is glaring at Baekhyun and then turns back to Tao,   'How does he figure this out?'   Suho looks up at Kris's inadvertent confirmation,   'What?!'   Sehun glances up, clearly not paying attention,   'Wait, what?'   This goes around the table until it returns to Baekhyun who is laughing softly, his voice amused,   'It's easy. First of all, you're all Kris could talk about from the moment he sat down. Secondly, neither of you can stop looking at each other. Thirdly, you're wearing Kris's sweater, and-'   Tao cuts him off, slightly exasperated,   "Okay okay. Baekhyun, we get it. You're some sort of weird detective or something. As if it's any of your business really...."   But neither Baekhyun nor Luhan seem to be satisfied with that and Tao finally gets them to leave him alone by saying that he'll tell them later, which he probably won't. It felt too intimate, like something that belonged just between him and Kris. Tao raises his gaze to Kris's slowly as the other boys go back to eating, all of them falling into conversation. Kris is smirking, his eyes amused as he gestures to the sweater Tao was wearing,   'So I guess we're close enough to share clothes now....'   Tao arches an eyebrow at him, his voice soft enough so that the other boys won't hear,   "Considering the list of other things we've shared, I'm going to go with 'yes'."   Kris laughs, his eyes crinkling,   'Another list?'   Tao rolls his eyes and leans back in his chair, brushing hair out of his eyes as Kris tilts his head slightly, watching him. Tao makes a face, slight annoyance in his voice,   "What?"   Kris smiles, his voice soft, a near whisper,   'You're so beautiful, Tao....I just want to take a picture of every moment so that I'll never forget.....'   Tao wants to roll his eyes but instead finds himself smiling as he leans across the table, sounding almost amused,   "You have no idea...."   Kris arches an eyebrow at him, his lips as Tao represses a shiver. Why did he have to do that? Tao's so caught up trying not to let Kris get to him that he misses what he says. He sits up straighter, his voice soft,   "What'd you say?"   Kris smirks, his eyes amused,   'Not paying attention are we? Your mind somewhere else, Tao?'   Tao rolls his eyes, sounding annoyed again though it's not genuine and Kris knows it,   "Screw you...."   Kris raises his eyebrows and Tao shakes his head, trying not to laugh,   "No wait, don't screw you. Shut up Kris. Now, what did you say?"   Kris is laughing, his shoulders shaking as he grins at Tao, tilting his head in an adorable way that makes Tao want to strangle him,   'I asked you what you wanted to do today. Whatever you want, Tao.....'   Tao glances down for a moment before meeting his eyes, his voice soft,   "There's only one thing I want, Kris...."   Kris nods, still smiling,    'What is it? Anything, I promise....'   Tao pauses for a moment, almost not wanting to ask Kris for this but knowing that they'd both have to face it at some point,   "I want to meet your parents."   Kris falls silent and Tao sees an undistinguishable look flash across his face; something like mixed anger and shock but Tao seems him nodding, his voice soft,   'If that's what you want. Don't say I didn't warn you.....'   Tao knew that Kris's parents were staying in their house in Seoul this week, his father on a business trip. Tao had been bothering Kris non-stop to meet them, and now he was going to. They couldn't be as bad as Kris had said, and even if they were, Tao didn't need their approval. He loved Kris, that was enough for him.   Chanyeol and Baekhyun are the first to leave, Baekhyun smirking at Tao, making the dark haired boy roll his eyes as he shoos him away. The others depart in small groups, Xiumin with his eyes on his hand the whole time, admiring his ring. Suho and Lay are the last to leave, Suho telling Kris and Tao that they can take his Audi anywhere they were going today and to stay out of as much trouble as they can.   Kris winks at Tao as Suho mentions not to make too much noise either which makes Tao want to blush, his heart fluttering in his chest as he looks away.  After Suho finally leaves, Kris glances at the clock,   'I texted my mom and told her we'd be over at their place around eleven which gives us about an hour to ourselves....'   He turns his gaze back to Tao with a smirk as the younger rolls his eyes, his voice amused,   "You wish. I'm going to go take a shower before we have to leave...."   He pauses, turning back to face Kris as he smirks, drawing closer so that they're almost touching, his voice low,   "But....we'll have even more time to ourselves later....."   Kris grins at him, his eyes amused,   'I love you so much right now...'   Tao waves away his words, trying to avoid blushing,    "Yeah, I love me too..."   He leans closer, his lips finding Kris's, soft but insistent, biting his bottom lip as he pulls away, his eyes dark,   "Kris....don't worry about your parents....if they don't love me, if they don't love us, I'm okay with that. You mean more to me than their approval does...."   Kris looks about to speak but Tao cuts him off with a finger to his lips,   "Close your eyes...."   Kris obeys and Tao smiles softly, leaning close so that their lips are almost touching,   "More than the oceans and the stars in the sky...."   He presses his lips gently against Kris's for a moment before pulling back and when Kris opens his eyes, Tao is gone.     Tao stands still and lets water run down his face. He's been moving fairly constantly, not allowing himself a moment to stop, to think, to remember what had happened that morning. But now he is thinking and he's smiling. At first he had only suggested it because he thought Kris would say no, but he hadn't. Obviously.   Tao thought he couldn't love Kris anymore, but he'd been wrong. It wasn't just that he had enjoyed it, because he had, a lot, but it was the way that Kris had handled the whole thing. He'd made Tao feel like their relationship hadn't changed, had only gotten better if anything. Not as if he hadn't known before, but this morning had just confirmed it; Kris was the only one he wanted to spend his life with.   He couldn't imagine loving anyone like this, being this comfortable with someone else. He remembers for a moment the day they'd first met, both of them awkward and politely friendly. They were so different now. Tao had never imagined that he could be this happy, that he could ever have a relationship that was this perfect. And it was. All Kris. Only Kris. Always.   Tao reaches up and turns off the water, grabbing a towel and drying himself off, running a hand through his hair as he stands in front of the mirror, water droplets running down his forehead and cheeks. He pauses, a familiar sweet-spicy smell filling his nose as he feels Kris's hands curve around his hips and he swears he can feel the warmth from his touch through the towel tied around his waist.   He's about to tell Kris to go away when he feels him pull Tao against him so that his chest is flush against Tao's back. Tao can feel him smile as he twists his head, running the tip of his tongue along the side of Tao's neck. The dark haired boy resists the urge to shiver, forcing his voice to be even, bored almost,   "Exactly how long have you been standing there?"   He feels Kris shrug and is sure he's smirking,   'Long enough....'   Tao's mouth drops open, not feeling violated really, just annoyed,   "And you called me a ert!"   He twists out of Kris's grip, smacking the side of his head,   "Now get out of here! ert!"   Kris is laughing, winking at Tao in farewell as he makes his exit, leaving Tao alone in the bathroom. Tao sighs, leaning his elbows on the counter, a smile curving his lips. They were so different now. Tao remembers how nervous he had been to get too intimate with Kris too fast and had made him wait for their first kiss for a month.   He was so much more confident now, so sure of what he felt; that Kris was his, would always be his. No matter what. When Tao walks downstairs, Kris is looking at his phone but looks up instantly, a smile curving his lips as he drops it in the pocket of his jacket, Suho's keys jingling in his hand as he walks over to Tao. Tao feels him run his hands down his hips, pulling him close and pressing a kiss to the base of his neck, his voice almost annoyed,   'Why did you have to want to meet my parents? I could think of a lot of more fun ways we could spend our day-'   Tao cuts him off, laughing softly,   "You think I don't want you? And you're not making it any easier. But I want to meet your parents more, Kris...."   He pauses for a second, a smirk curving his lips as he runs his hand up Kris's chest, curving it behind his neck,   "But we'll have plenty of time to ourselves later....and besides, the wait will make it worth it...."   Kris laughs and twists his head, pressing a kiss to the inside of Tao's wrist before releasing him with a sigh,   'Well....let's get this over with....'   Tao rolls his eyes and walks out the front door, pausing as he hears Kris lock the door behind him. He glances up and grins as he catches sight of Suho's R8 in the driveway, it's deep red paint dusted with snow. This car was like Suho's child, one of the things he loved most and no one got to drive it. Well, except Kris. Kris grins, running a finger along the hood, a look on his face like it was Christmas. He glances up, arching an eyebrow at Tao,   'You ready for a ride?'   Tao laughs, tilting his head as Kris's nose crinkles, his eyes amused,   'ert. Now get in before I decide to leave you here and go on a joyride instead.'   Tao grins and opens the door to the passenger seat, running a finger gently along the edge of the of the handle as he sits down. He glances over at Kris who is grinning at him, his voice filled with barely contained excitement,   'Suho must really love me to let me drive this-'   He shifts the car to reverse and Tao feels them back out of the driveway as Kris turns the car parallel to their house, smirking at Tao,   'We might as well have some fun...'   Tao isn't sure how fast Kris is driving as they race down the freeway, Kris laughing, Tao grinning as he leans his head back. At some point they get into traffic and Kris is
