Let's Make Up...?
It's Called Being In Love {DISCONTINUED please look @ "About Me" in profile for further info}So about that ending... I sorrtttaaa won't get more into depth with it until much later in the story, so tuck it into a nice pocket in your memory to remember because I don't know how long it will take to finally get to it.
Myungsoo looked at his phone for the time and sighed. He was excited for Sungjong to finally come back from his vacation, listening with one earbud to whatever's popular to South Korean nowadays.
Due to Woohyun being busy today he couldn't greet Sungjong, making him even more happy that no one else would be here to bother them. Maybe he looked weird whenever he kept switching his gaze from his phone to the entrances, but he couldn't really help it.
Finally, when he looked up, he saw a familiar face along with the stream of passengers flowing out of the exit. He ran over to said person and glomped him.
"I missed you!" Myungsoo hugged him tighter.
Sungjong couldn't help but giggle and hug him back, "Yeah yeah. Jeez, someone got clingy." Myungsoo could feel Sungjong turning his head to look around, "Hey, where's Woohyun?"
At the question, Myungsoo immediately pouted, feeling an oddly bitter feeling that hadn't resurfaced in a while, "He couldn't come. Why do you ask?"
"No reason. Now get off me before people start thinking that we're a couple or something," Sungjong sighed, releasing Myungsoo and pushing him back slightly.
"But I wouldn't mind entrusting Sungjongie's future with Myungsoo," Mrs. Lee giggled.
"MOM!" Sungjong yelled, making Mrs. Lee giggle more.
When Myungsoo heard that though, he couldn't help but feel extremely happy at the thought, but immediately pushed it away, feeling his face burn up.
Myungsoo groaned when he heard an unfamiliar alarm clock go off. He moved his hand over to a nearby drawer and ended up pushing the phone onto the floor while trying to look for the phone on the drawer.
"Don't do that...!" Sungjong groaned as he sat up, hitting Myungsoo's chest very sleepily. The younger soon got off the bed to go around it and pick up his phone from the floor.
The door slowly creaked open and then two (sleepily) saw a rather sheepish Woohyun peeking through the crack, "You okay there...?"
"Yes, I'm fine," Sungjong sighed, scratching the back of his head, "I'm gonna go get ready..." he pushed open the door wider, making Woohyun back up, and walked out of the room, dragging his feet along the ground.
Woohyun looked into the room, seeing Myungsoo wake up... somewhat.
"It's weird, you always know how to calm down Sungjong while I'm just there and can't do a thing," Woohyun sighed as he walked into the bedroom and sat down on the bed, making Myungsoo bounce up slightly from the sudden drop of weight on the other side of the bed.
"Well we are best friends..." Myungsoo slowly sat up but didn't notice Woohyun roll his eyes due to the latter being faced away from him.
The younger of the two sat there for a moment before remembering something, "Did you know that Sungjong had a crush on someone?" He noted how Woohyun turned around with his eyes wide from shock.
"Wait... so you know who...?" Woohyun asked.
"No... he didn't tell... neither did Dongwoo tell us that Sungjong dated him to get over said crush..." Myungsoo lets out a rather frustrated sigh, which was rare coming from the usually easy-going boy.
That immediately made Woohyun stop widening his eyes and stare at the other in disbelief, "Oh."
After waiting for Sungjong and then waiting for Myungsoo to get ready (his mother figuring out that he stayed at the Lee household and bringing over his school uniform and toothbrush), the three headed to school in a more relaxed way.
Nowadays, it was rare to have such a quiet morning, but that might be because Woohyun was still scared of Sungjong after the maknae's outburst yesterday.
Well, that might also be because Hoya decided to hide in a bush from his crazy fangirls and managed to camouflage pretty well with the school's bushes even though he looked a bit ridiculous. At least it was a good laugh for Dongwoo and Sungyeol and Sunggyu- who tried his best from bursting into laughter like the other two though- but seeing Sungjong seemed to have immediately stop the laughing.
"Uh- listen- um- about- er- yesterday-"
"I'm sorry about that," Sungjong quickly interrupted and bowed, "I shouldn't have skipped to conclusions that quickly... nor have left you alone like that..." The maknae awkwardly adjusted his shirt collar, "I'm not that good at apologies... but maybe we could make up and be friends...?"
A moment of silence drifted between the seven before Dongwoo bursted into tears, making everyone panic.
"A-Are you okay?!" Sunggyu immediately asked. Next thing they knew Dongwoo hugged Sungjong and was crying into his chest.
Sungjong sighed, a small smile gracing his lips as he lightly patted the crying boy on the back, "You always were a crybaby... always too innocent and kind for your own good..."
This scene somehow struck something in Myungsoo's head, the past two days being too similar to what had happened to the two of them before.
"Agh too cheesy!" Sungyeol teased.
"Shut up you," Sungjong huffed with an unimpressed gaze, making everyone stiffle a chuckle at how sassy the younger was acting. A smile settled onto the younger's face though.
Somehow, the smile was nostalgic to Myungsoo, making him close his eyes, trying to make sure that the smile never left his mind without his camera.
And seeing that smile made him remember that nothing was the same.
The boy had lost his confidence at one point.
He had lost his original shine at one point.
Seeing Sungjong's smile, he realized that if they were to return to their childhood, when it was only the three of them, there was definitly one moment that he did not want to return to.
So, maybe one childhood memory was an exception.
"Myu...ng...soo...!"
He clutched the boy tighter, fearing that if he lets go, the boy would just crumble with the weight of everything that he's lost.
"Plea...se... don't... lea...ve... me...!" he was trembling, clutching onto him even tighter, as though he was trying to hide away from the world by burying himself in his arms.
"I would never do that."
