I started a new day, trying to forget the conversation I had with Sehun last night. An assembly per course is taking place since there’ll be some announcement.

“Our university always has this event for all first year students. It is called ‘Ulzzang Contest’. For every course, there has to be two representatives: one male and one female. So, I’m asking all of you right now if there is anyone who wants to volunteer or at least vote for someone.” Our course head announced. (A/N: Ulzzang 얼짱 ‘best face’)

“I personally think Joonmyeon has the ulzzang here!” Amber shouted.

“Amber, knock it off! You know I’m not good at such stuff!” I can hear Joonmyeon whining.

Our head studies Joonmyeon’s face. “Yeah, I think he is.”

“Ssaem, I really can’t do such stuff.”

“C’mon, dude. It’s a once in a lifetime experience!” Amber seems too excited for her friend.

“I don’t mind not experiencing such.” He rolled his eyes.

“I also think you’re the best male who can join the contest. I’ll let you choose your own partner if you join.” Our head tried to bid.

He groaned. “The problem is I don’t even have much female friends. Just look at my girl best friend right here.”

“Hey! That’s offensive!” Amber glared at him which he didn’t care about.

I looked at Joonmyeon and once our gazes locked, I knew I did a wrong move. He smiled. “Ssaem, I think I found a partner.”

I shook my head and mouthed ‘no, please’ but it was too late ‘cause he already pointed his finger at me and our head is now standing in front of me. What the fudge did I just get myself into?

After the announcement, I glared at Joonmyeon. “I thought you’re my friend! Why the hell drag me in trouble with you?”

He sheepishly smiled. “Look, I’m sorry. I’m frustrated as you are. As you said, we’re friends, that’s why we’ll go through this together!”

“Am I the only one excited here? I’m really happy for my two friends! I’ll definitely cheer for you two!”

“Amber!” Joonmyeon and I shouted at her which made her raise her hands in defeat.

“I’m back!” I entered our room to see it in a mess.

“What kind of storm got into our room?” I gaped.

“It’s called ‘Byun Baekhyun’.” Baekhyun said as he got out of our bathroom.

“Should have known! And wait, is that your stuff?” I pointed to a huge bag…or luggage.

“You see…I was kicked out—”

“And you think you can stay here until you find a new place?” I cut him off.

“We already agreed to it. Just let him be, it’ll only be for a few days.” Vic said.

“I promise I’ll behave.”

“Behaving, huh? Then, clean up this mess you made.” I plopped on Sulli’s bed, too lazy to climb on my own.

“Why is she so irritated? Is she on her period?” Baekhyun muttered.
