No One’s POV:

Junghan sits down on the couch and gets lost in thought about what Woozi just told him.

The vocal was so lost in thought that he didn’t notice that Vernon was now laying on his lap.

‘Jihoonie said he just wanted to set things straight, but the only way for Soonyoungie to start talking about the situation is when he’s got everything figured out. It’s not like I can just shove him into Jihoonie’s studio and make them talk…. Right?.... Whatever… I’ll just give Soonyoungie some time, but if he tries to bail from talking to Jihoon… I’ll just shove him into Jihoonie’s studio and make sure they sort things out before I let them out. I don’t even know if Soonyoungie’s even thinking about the whole situation.’

“JUNGHANIE-HYUNG!” Vernon suddenly yells which causes the older to snap out of his thoughts on shoving Woozi and Hoshi into Woozi’s studio and making them talk.

“Y-Yeah?” Junghan stutters as he looks down at the younger.

“What are you thinking about?” Vernon questions as he sits up.

“Nothing important.” Junghan replies with a smile.

“Y-Your not thinking of… of breaking up with me… are you? You’ve been zoning out a lot when I’m with you and you’ve left me to go talk to Soonyoungie-hyung. You know I can’t live without you, right hyung. Please don’t-“ Vernon says with tears forming in his eyes and his usual smile disappearing before he gets cut off.

“Hey. Look at me. I’m just thinking about some stuff that doesn’t include you and I at all so don’t worry. I’m not letting go of someone that’s so precious to me.” Junghan says, cutting off the younger.

Vernon simply nods as he looks away.

“But hey… Help me with something?” Junghan asks with a sly smile.

“What?” Vernon asks as he looks at the older in front of him.

“I’ll tell you later. For now… order pizza and I’ll be back. I need to go talk to Soonyoungie about something.” Junghan replies with a gentle smile before he brings the younger in for a gentle kiss.

“I’ll be back.” Junghan says once he breaks the kiss before standing up.

“Soonyoung-ah.” Junghan says the blonds name as he looks at Hoshi who was sitting on the couch with DK between him and Woozi.

“Yes hyung?” Hoshi asks as he jumps off of the couch.

“Come get coffee with me.” Junghan says with a smile.

“Okay!” Hoshi replies, not giving the request a second thought.

“You guys can order pizza without us.” Junghan says with a smile before he and Hoshi exit the practice room.

“You know Soonyoung-ah…” Junghan says with a smile, once they were in the elevator.

“Yeah?” Hoshi asks as he presses the button for the first floor.

“I was talking to Jihoonie when we were walking towards the studio….” Junghan replies as the doors slide open.

“And?” Hoshi asks after a brief moment of silence.

“He wants to clear things up with you. So I wanted to ask… How’s organizing your thoughts coming along? Is there anything I can help you with or any questions you want to ask?” Junghan asks as he walks over to the coffee machine and makes two cups of coffee before dropping some ice in one of them, knowing that Hoshi liked iced coffee and walking to sit down across from Hoshi at a table.

“Actually… I’ve been thinking about what you said to me on the roof the other day…” Hoshi says after a moment of silence as he watches Junghan place down the glass with iced coffee in front of him.

Junghan stays silent and takes a sip from his coffee as he waits for the younger to continue.

“Do you think that…. He may like me back?” Hoshi asks as he looks up from playing with the straw in his coffee.

“I don’t know. That’s for you to figure out. Why? Do you think he likes you?” Junghan asks while biting the inside of his cheek to prevent him on telling the blond that Woozi has always liked him and that Hoshi was always too blind to see it.

“I’m not sure…. After what you said… I’m thinking there might be a possibility, but do you think that he would like a guy like me though? I mean… He deserves so much better.” Hoshi says quietly as he looks back down at his cup.

“Yah Kwon Soonyoung!” Junghan says raising his voice slightly which causes the younger to look up in surprise because the angel like vocal never raised his voice.

“Listen to me. You are amazing and your perfect for Jihoon. He needs someone like you in his life. Someone who gets him. Someone who knows how to make him feel better. Someone who will always be there for him.” Junghan starts saying before he pauses.

“You guys all get him too. There’s better people out there for him.” Hoshi mumbles as he takes a sip from his coffee.

“Look…. You get him like none of us can. You know how to make him feel better when he’s stressed like none of us can. You were always there for him when he needed someone by his side. He always came to you, not any of us, when he needed to get something off his chest. Yet you tell me he deserves better?” Junghan argues as he starts to frown at the stupid blond in front of him.

“Yeah, but I’m not tall. I’m not strong. I’m not a good singer. I’m not attractive. I’m just… me. I’m so plain and boring. Do you really think I would make him happy? Look at you and Hansolie for an example. You and Hansol are both attractive and you are a great singer and he’s a great rapper. You two complete each other. You guys always get along, but me and Jihoonie always… always get into arguments. That’s not love. That’s hate. A guy like me will never be able to make Jihoonie happy. He deserves someone that’s way better.” Hoshi says as he feels his eyes to tear up.

“Are you hearing yourself Soonyoung-ah? You and Jihoon are two entirely different people than me and Hansol. Sure Hansol may be a great rapper, but you are in charge of the performance team. You make our choreography. You are the one who can make Jihoonie relax when he’s stressed over writing new lyrics. Sure, Jihoonie may be hard on you, but that doesn’t matter. You’re you and that’s what makes you special.” Junghan says as he gets up and brings his chair next to Hoshi before bringing the younger towards him.

“Don’t think about all your insecurities Soonyoung-ah. Do what your heart tells you to do. Do you want to tell Jihoonie the truth and have a relationship with him or do you want to stay like this for the rest of your life?” Junghan asks the younger.

“I don’t know… I want to tell him, but if he doesn’t like me back… I don’t want to jeopardize our friendship.” Hoshi replies in a gentle voice.

“Everything has a risk Soonyoung-ah. We wouldn’t get anything done if we were all scared to take that risk. You and I wouldn’t be here as singers today if we were too scared of the risk of us not making it and debuting. You and I have been through a lot. We’ve taken a lot of risks so far. I’m not going to tell you what to do….” Junghan says before he trails off.

“I want to.” Hoshi suddenly says before Junghan could continue.

“What?” Junghan asks.

“I want to take the risk. I’ll tell him right now.” Hoshi declares as he pulls away and stands up with his coffee in one hand before walking to the elevator.

Junghan has a surprised face before he grabs his own cup and walks into the elevator with Hoshi.

“I can do this…” Hoshi mumbles to himself as he walks out of the elevator.

“I can’t do this.” Hoshi suddenly says and starts walking the opposite direction from the practice room.

“Wait! Where are you going?” Junghan asks as he grabs the younger.

“I can do this!” Hoshi says once more as he grabs the door handle and opens the practice room door.

“I can’t do this. I don’t want to take the risk anymore.” Hoshi says quietly as he walks away from Junghan to sit down besides Wonwoo.
