Both SM Entertainment and UouO Media have announced the debut of a collaboration subunit between SM's f(x) and UouO's WARdEN!

SM Entertainment and UouO Media have been working on a project together since WARdEN's debut, and between the companies it was called "The Cloud Project." The Cloud Project features a collaboration between SM's f(x) and UouO's WARdEN, who recently finished up their promotions for Red Light and their first solo concert, Captive ; The First Conc. A representative from each company has stated this is only a one-time deal, "As the CEO's of both companies have known each other for quite some time, they decided to support each other in this way. Cloud will only release their single as this is a one-time sub-unit."

Early this morning, on both of their official websites, a new group was placed in their artist section- Named Cloud, this subunit is made up of the eldest four members of WARdEN and the members of f(x), making an eight-memered group. Apparently, their concept is "mature and vocal-focused," and that's why WARdEN members Byeol and Cherry will not be participating.

It has been confirmed that the EP will be released on April 16th, along with a music video on each channel. Cloud will have their subunit debut on the same day. Apparently, during the last day of WARdEN's Captive ; The First Concert, Cloud performed one of their songs and were able to keep it under wrap for weeks. Other future subunits also performed, but there's no confirmation on who is in these subunits and what their concepts will be. Check out the Cloud profiles below!
