Chapter 4

_{As you walked through the school gates, you saw Jae Hyun so you casually walked up and greeted him.}

_{“Oh, Annyeong Hee Yeon ah~” he replied you smiling. You smiled back before you noticed a smirk on his face.}

_{“Soooo~ how was yesterday?” he gave you a teasing look.}

_{“N-nothing happened…”}

_{“What do you mean nothing~” nudging you a little.}

_{“No I’m serious, nothing happened.”}

_{“What… seriously~ I worked so hard to get you to have some time together and you’re telling me you just wasted it?”}

_{“Well, there’s nothing I can say to him really. Stop trying Jae Hyun~ it’s not going to get us anywhere…”}

_{“But you both still like each other, and seriously meant to be so why can’t you guys just-“}

_{“We’re not meant to be, if we were, we would just get back together. People break up for lots of reasons Jae Hyun… You should be happy that Do Young and I don’t hate each other.”}

_{“Ughhh~ Why~ You guys were so cute togethe-“}

_{“You and Yoon Joo are cuter together” you gave him a wink, trying to change the subject.}

_{“Well of course! Because she’s cute”}

_{“Awww~ Seriously, get married already.”}

_{“Pft~ We Will!” he said causing you to laugh.}

_{You guys walked up to class with you teasing him about Yoon Joo. She was outside of the classroom waiting for you guys to turn up.}

_{“How come you guys came up together?” she asked as she saw you guys with a wide smile on her face.}

_{“Oh my god, no Yoon Joo, don’t get the wrong idea, we just bumped into each other” you wave your hands at her.}

_{“I’m just joking! Come on~ you should know by now I don’t get jealous over these things, plus you’re my best friend and Jae Hyun’s your friend.”}

_{“Good that you know” he said giving her a small peck on the cheeks.} 

_{You guys sat outside the classroom talking while waiting before class started. You kept looking around but the person you were looking for didn’t seem to appear.}

_{“Who are you waiting for?” Jae Hyun asked you.}

_{“Uh- you’re best friend…?” You replied him still looking around.}

_{“Ooooh” you heard him and Yoon Joo giggle.}

_{“Guys-“ you turned to look at them “it’s not like that okay. I’m just worried because he’s not here yet.”}

_{“Well maybe he’s late.”}

_{“But he’s never late, and plus even if he was late he’s the type that would message us.”}

_{“Damn it, you know him too well~” he said chuckling.}

_{“Of course” you could almost hear the smirk from your best friend.}

_{“Seriously guys…”}

_{You deiced to wait a little more, but even after your first class, Do Young didn’t show up. You couldn’t help but worry. You took your phone out and went to his chat message.}

_{Hee Yeon: Where are you? Did something happen?}

_{It took you forever to deiced wether to send it or not but in the end you knew that it was the only way to find out where he was. It didn’t take long until he replied, by the time you were out of your next class you already saw a reply on your screen.}

_{Do Young: I’m sick, so I couldn’t come.}

_{You didn’t hesitate to reply him at all.}

_{Hee Yeon: You’re sick?! What happened? Are you okay?}

_{Do Young: Yea, I have a slight fever.}

_{Hee Yeon: Get better soon!} 

_{You tried your best to sound as unworried as you could be seriously you just couldn’t stop thinking about him. He doesn’t usually get sick a lot so you know he’s really sick when he says so. Jae Hyun could probably tell that something was off because of your expressions.}

_{“Hee Yeon ah~ are you okay?” he put his hand infront of your face waving it a few times. You snapped back to reality and nodded at him.}

_{“He’s sick…”}

_{“Who? Do Young?”}

_“Yea…”

_{“How do you know? You asked him?” he sounded really surprised.}

_{“Yea… I did and he told me he was sick” you replied with a blank face.}

_{Jae Hyun took out his phone and pressed a few buttons before looking at you with a blank face.}

_{“Wow… so he replied you and didn’t even bother reading his best friend’s message”}

_{“He didn’t reply you?”}

_{“He didn’t even read it… yup, I have such nice best friend”}

_{“I-i’m sorry…” you looked down.}

_{“What? No~ I’m just joking~ He’s probably knows that you would check your phone before I would so expected you to tell me anyway.” he reassured you.}

_{For the rest of the day, you couldn’t even pay much attention in class. All that was running through your mind was Do Young. He’s sick. And you were pretty sure that he wouldn’t be able to take care of himself which made you worry even more. You really wanted the time to pass by quickly, but it was going by so slow you started to loose hope. When the last bell of the day finally rang, you quickly packed up all your belongings and headed straight to the door.}

_{“Hee Yeon ah~” Yoon Joo caught up to you.}

_{You turned around, almost forgetting to tell her to leave without you, “I’m going to go first, mianhae I can’t go back with you today” you said, not releasing how desperate you sounded.}

_{“You’re going to Do Young’s place right?” your best friend could defiantly read your mind. You nodded shyly not really knowing what to say.}

_{“Okay, go~ You should go since you won’t be okay if you don’t see him, you’ve been worrying the whole day. Tell him to get better soon so we can see him tomorrow!”}

_{“Yeah… Okay” you replied her before pushed you out of the door indicating that you should leave as soon as possible. You gave her one last smile before rushing out of school heading towards Do Young’s house. Oh the way, you dropped by a few stores collecting some of the things that he may need.}

_{You reached his house, unaware of what to do. Your finger hovered around the door bell, not wanting to press the button. Trying to mutter up all your courage, you pressed it, waiting for him to open the door. When the door opened, a very shocked and tired looking Do Young looked at you. It took him a few seconds but he invited you in to his house.}

_{“Why-“ he started but got interrupted by you.}

_{“Have you eaten yet?”}

_“No…”

_{“Did you take any medicine?”}

_{“No… I didn’t have any in the house…”}

_{He told you to have a seat on the sofa before you went through your bag taking out some food and medicine for him. He looked at you blankly while you handed him somethings.}

_{“Do you have any water?” you asked him.}

_{“Uh- yeah… mhmm… do you need any? Should i get you some?”}

_{“No me pabo, for you… eat this before taking the medicine.” You pointed at the sandwich box.}

_{“Oh… thanks…” he mumbled so quietly that you almost didn’t hear him.}

_{It didn’t take him long to finish the sandwich, you told him to eat slowly or it would be bad for him to digest but he wouldn’t listen to you, probably was too hungry, that idiot how could he not even for an whole day. You sat there quietly waiting for him to finish.}

_{“You should get some sleep” you told him.}

_{“Ani ani it’s fine”}

_{“Just sleep or you will never get better”}

_{“Um… but… are you-“}

_{“I can leave now if you wa-“}

_{“No that’s not what I meant… all though it’s really your choice…” he looked away, probably really embarrassed since he just practically almost told you he wanted you to stay.}

_{Even though it was something you would probably never do because you weren’t the kind of person that invaded people’s houses without their permission you found ourself walking into Do Young’s room to get his blanket.}

_{You walked over to him and told him to lie down on the couch before placing the blanket over him. You could tell that he was watching you carefully every single move you made. It wasn’t because he didn’t trust you, of course he did, he was just really shocked and couldn’t believe his own eyes.}

_{“Hee Yeon ah…”}

_{You looked at him and gave him one of those calm get worried looks causing him to immediately stop and try to sleep.}

_{Almost instantly, you saw a cute sleepy boy on the coach pouting a little in his sleep. That didn’t take long you thought yourself. Aish babo, he must have been so tried. You took one last look at him before getting up to throw the rubbish in the bin. As you head to the corner of where the bin was you saw a picture on a shelf, it was a picture of Do Young and yourself… He still had this out? You couldn’t help but be a little heart broken seeing a picture of you two together but you brushed off the thoughts so that you could continue cleaning up the house before heading out.}

_{You made sure everything was off in the house before walking over to Do Young giving him a little check before leaving a note on the table, ‘I left some food for you in the fridge if you’re hungry…’ and head towards the door to leave the house.}

_{As you shut the door carefully trying your best to not make a sound, someone walked passed you causing you to look up. Both of you immediately recognised each other, looking at each other with wide eyes.}

_{“Oh! It’s cousin!” “Oh… You…” you both said at the same time. Hearing that name your face scrunched up a little causing him to chuckle at your silliness.}

_{“What are you doing here?” he asked you curiously.}

_{“Ah… um… I came to visit a friend…” you looked away.}

_{“Oh… you know Do Youngie?” it was almost like a reflex when you heard his name you immediately looked up.}

_{“Y-y-yea… He’s a friend of mine”}

_“Ah~”

_{“H-how do you know him?”}

_{“Of course I do! I’ve been neighbours with him for a long time now!” at first you thought he had been joking but you soon realised that he was serious since he was just outside of the door next to Do Young’s house.}

_{“Ah… I See… Um… I’ll get going” you said awkwardly before giving him a small nod and leaving.}

_{That night you were just scrolling around your Facebook page when you suddenly got a friend request. You clicked on it curiously and you immediately froze when you saw the name. Ten. For a moment you didn’t know what to do, not that you didn’t want to add him but what? You were confused, why was he adding you, but yet again, Facebook’s kind of for adding everyone so you just brushed it off and clicked the accept button. And almost instantly a chat box appeared.} 

_{Ten: Annyeong!}

_{Hee Yeon: How did you find me?}

_{Ten: Uh… you’re friends with Johnny Hyung?}

_{Hee Yeon: Oooops… Almost forgot. Stop stalking oppa!}

_{Ten: I wasn’t stalking him~}

_{Hee Yeon: Then stop stalking me! It’s like everywhere I go I see you literally!}

_{Ten: Hmmm… More like you’re stalking me}

_{Hee Yeon: Ani! Why would I stalk you?}

_{Ten: Well you see I’m pretty good looking~}

_{Hee Yeon: Pft~ What a joke. I’m going to bed, night.}

_{With that you just closed the lid of your laptop and crawled into bed.}
